The following trailer is over the top and filled with shouting and enough exclamations to rival a three year old. Is it warranted? Hell to the yes. Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z   is not only the first Dragon Ball Z game in 2 years, it's also the first to feature 4 player online multiplayer. Yes, you can live out your greatest match up fantasies going up 4 on 1 in epic boss battles, or against each other. Characters from the recently released film Battle Of The Gods  will be appearing as well. Then they throw a sweet Naruto curveball at you at the end of the trailer?! I'm just going to send my social security number to Namco and tell them to take it.

I hated the young Anakin Skywalker character that George Lucas introduced us to in Star Wars: Episode I. He was just as annoying as Jar Jar Binks.  Here's a ridiculous yet entertaining parody that replaces Darth Vader's voice with the voice and dialogue from stupid young Anakin. The video has a few moments that made me laugh.

Tropic Thunder screenwriter Etan Cohen is set to direct Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart in a new comedy called Get Hard.

The film was written by Ian Roberts and Jay Marte, and the story is about “a wealthy investment bank manager who is convicted of a crime he didn’t commit and prepares for prison with help from the guy who washes his car.”

Basically, he's gotta toughen up for prison. There's no word on who will play what role, but I hope Hart plays the investment banker and Ferrell plays the car wash guy, because that would be the awesome and unexpected thing to do.

“Na na na na na na na na…Batman! Batman! Batman!”

Hot Toys has released some great photos from their upcoming action figures based on the 1966 versions of Batman and Robin played by Adam West and Burt Ward. Once again they nail the look of the characters with awesome detail. I grew up watching reruns of this show, and I loved it! It was just ridiculously fun. 

The catchy opening song, campy style costumes, and lighthearted comical scenes have made the Batman 1960s television series a classic among Batman fans. Adam West has become synonymous with the crime fighting hero and the show’s success has even led to a movie being made featuring most of the original TV cast. 

Hot Toys is excited to introduce the 1/6th scale Batman Collectible Figure from the 1966 feature film. The collectible figure is newly developed and highly detailed, which is specially crafted based on the image of Adam West as the iconic character Batman, featuring a screen-accurate masked head sculpt, specially made costume with Batman logo, weapons and accessories.

The Batmobile will be coming soon, please stay tuned!

Here's an awesome red-band trailer for the horror comedy Hellbenders, and it looks freakin' hilarious! The movie was written and directed by J.T. Petty, and it has a great cast that includes Clancy Brown, Dan Fogler, Clifton Collins Jr., Andrew Royo, and Samantha Buck.

The story follows "the Order of Hellbound Saints (Brooklyn Parish), a highly secretive and profoundly blasphemous men of God, as they battle demonic forces too terrible to be cast out by traditional Vatican-approved methods."

This looks like a must watch film that's going to be a ton of fun. It's set to be released in theaters and VOD on October 18th!

Vin Diesel has released another photo from James Wan's Fast and Furious 7, which came with the following note,

"The first week of filming, has been both intense and surreal... P.s. One from set... a more somber moment in Our Saga..."

As you know, once Diesel starts posting stuff from his films on Facebook, there's no stopping him. You can bet we'll be seeing a lot more.

The story sees the gang, which now also includes Lucas Black from Tokyo Drift, returns to Los Angeles. It also stars Paul Walker, Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson, Tony Jaa, and the rest of the usual suspects. The movie will be released on July 11th, 2014.

We've got four new creepy cool posters for FX's American Horror Story: Coven. This is such a unique and insane series, which is why I enjoy it so much. There's nothing else on TV like it. It's definitely not for everyone, but if you enjoy a lot of twisted craziness, then this is the show for you.  

The cast of the series includes  Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Sarah Paulson, Frances Conroy, Gabourey Sidibe, Denis O'Hare, Patti LuPone, Evans Peters, Taissa Farmiga, Lily Rabe, and Emma Roberts.

Coven tells the secret history of witches and witchcraft in America. Over 300 years have passed since the turbulent days of the Salem witch trials and those who managed to escape are now facing extinction. Who didn't love the Safari Zone in the original Pokemon? I mean, 500 steps was kind of cheap and no fighting in the zone? Please. I would've much preferred a Jurassic Park version of the zone. If nothing else, it would bring an element of danger to the Kanto region and beef up the main storyline a bit... I got way off track here. You can purchase the t-shirt here. Breaking Bad fans! If you haven't heard already, I just wanted to share some great news with you! It's been confirmed by co-executive producer and writer Peter Gould who tweeted confirmation that the final two episodes of Breaking Bad will be extended by 15 minutes! So that means we get 75-minutes of intense awesomeness! If the final two episodes are just as insane as the last episode, "Ozymandias," was, then we're in for a wonderfully nerve-racking treat! I can't wait!

Check out this red-band trailer for a crazy-looking sci-fi horror movie called +1. It's set at an epic college party that seems to have enteredThe Twilight Zone. I'm not sure how else to explain, but the partygoers start seeing doubles of themselves walking around, and things get even more insane. It definitely looks like a weird flick. Here's the synopsis:

Three college friends hit the biggest party of the year, where a mysterious phenomenon disrupts the night, quickly descending into a chaos that challenges their friendships -- and whether they can stay alive.

The movie was directed by Dennis Iliadis (The Last House on the Left) and is set to be released on September 20th!

J.J. Abrams will be dodging Star Wars questions for the rest of his life, but he knew what he was getting himself into when he took the gig. It comes with the territory. So while doing press for his new series, Almost Human, EW asked him about Star Wars: Episode VII, and this is what he had to say about the tone and spirit of the film,

“Impossible for me to say because it’s going to be an evolving thing. I would say we are working really hard to make a movie that feels as emotional and authentic and exciting as possible. Whatever your favorite Star Wars movie is and how to compare it is really sort of subjective.”

The director then goes on to talk about the advice he's been seeing from people regarding the how he should handle the development of the film:

“It’s been nice see that how important it is and to be reminded how important it is to so many people. We all know that [creator George Lucas'] dream has become almost a religion to some people. I remember reading a thing somewhere, someone wrote about just wanting [the new film] to feel real; to feel authentic. I remember I felt that way when I was 11 years old when I saw the first one. As much of a fairy tale as it was, it felt real. And to me, that is exactly right.”

It sounds like we are going to get that authentic film we are all hoping for. I couldn't be more excited that Abrams is the guy at the helm on this thing! The more he talks about the movie, the more encouraged I am about the project.

While I still have yet to actually play Bioshock Infinite, I can still appreciate gorgeous art, and this piece by Ricardo Tome fits that bill. Done for a Dark Horse Comics contest, this piece depicts Booker and Elizabeth facing down the Songbird, and Tome's use of highlight and shadow is quite stunning. The director who brought us the classic horror thriller Suspiria, Dario Argento, has taken on the story of Dracula and has reimagined it for the big screen for the 500th time. The movie is called Argento's Dracula 3D, and it seems to have an old school Hammer horror feel to it. I like earlier work, but over the years his stuff just hasn't evolved. In fact, it just seems like it's been getting worse. 

The movie star the director's daughter, Asia Argento, and Rutger Hauer plays Van Helsing, which seems like the best thing this movie has going for it. 

Argento's Dracula 3D "offers a bloody, luridly creepy 3D version of the classic vampire tale, drenched in gore and sex. An unsuspecting Englishman arrives in Transylvania, lured by a job with a local nobleman. But the undead Count Dracula's real target is the man's innocent young wife. Featuring the iconic Rutger Hauer as vampire hunter Van Helsing and the inimitable Asia Argento (Dario's own daughter) as a local all-too-eager to fall under the Count's sway."

The movie is set to hit theaters in New York and Los Angeles on October 4th. Watch the trailer and let us know what you think!

Seth Green has offered an update on the Star Wars: Detours animated series he was working on. After Disney bought Lucasfilm the series was put on hold, and we've been waiting to see what its fate will be. It sounds like the series will eventually see the light of day, we just have to be patient. The actor also reveals that they have 39 completed episodes sitting on the shelf and another 62 scripts ready to go into production. Here's what Green had to say in a Reddit Q&A,

"So there’s actually been quite a bit of talk about this, but Detours is just on hold currently. We have 39 finished episodes and around 62 finished scripts. But that entire show was created before the decision to make more Star Wars movies, so our show (which was created by George Lucas) is an animated sitcom in the world of Star Wars, so we had a lot of conversations with Kathleen Kennedy about Star Wars in not just the next three years but the next 30 years, and when you’re in as privileged a position as we were to be able to work on Star Wars content with its creator, you get a great sense of responsibility to the whole. I was introduced to Star Wars as a child and it was without any ironic or comedic lens, so I saw Darth Vader as scary, and I saw all of those messages very very clearly. We didn’t think it made any sense, in anticipation of these new movies coming out, to spend the next three years with an animated sitcom as three generations’ of kids first introduction to the Star Wars universe. 

I do feel that Detours is a timeless bit of entertainment. Media distribution is changing so quickly, so dramatically, that can you even imagine what distribution of content will look like in five years? In a day and age when Netflix series are nominated for the top accolades TV has to offer, who is to say what it will look like when the new Star Wars movie comes out? So Detours can sit on a shelf until the Star Wars movie comes out without losing any of its lustre, because what we’ve created is very funny, very smart and like I said before, timeless."

A trailer and some clips for the series were previously released, but it looks like they've all been taken down. It looks and sounds like it would be a fun series to watch, so hopefully Lucasfilm pulls the trigger on it sooner rather than later. Here's the series description,

Star Wars Detours is an animated comedy that explores what daily life is like in a galaxy far, far away. There are no Empires striking back or attacking clones here. Instead,Star Wars Detours focuses on the universe’s regular folks and their everyday problems… which, to be fair, do frequently involve famous bounty hunters, crazed Ewoks, and even a Dark Lord of the Sith.

This summer is was announced that Disney would being introducing the Star Wars universe into the world of the kids animated series Phineas and Ferb. We now have our first look at the storyboard art from Kyle Menke for the episode they are developing.

Series creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh previously offered some details on the crossover, saying,

"All of [the plot of A New Hope] happens exactly the way it did, but we find out that Phineas and Ferb are Luke’s neighbors on Tatooine and become embroiled in the adventure. Our story all takes place as if you had a slightly wider shot, you could see our characters. Or if you just waited around five minutes after this [Star Wars] storyline, our characters would pass through, which was really really fun to do."

They went on to talk about the the voices of the Star Wars characters, saying, 

"The Star Wars actors are now all 40 years older, so they don’t sound quite the same, so we’re trying to find people who sound like they did when they were young. The guy we had come in to do Harrison Ford sounded so much like young Harrison Ford. It was like, if you didn’t look up you thought, ‘We have Harrison Ford in the booth!’"

They also teased that there will be some cameos from "a few fun folks that also really fit in in a weird way with the whole Star Wars universe." 

Phineas and Ferb's Star Wars tribute will air in 2014, and I'm sure this episode will be a lot of fun.

Check out this fun teaser trailer for Angry Birds Star Wars II. It features the infamous black and red Sith Lord Darth Maul having a little trouble getting his double-bladed lightsaber to work properly. 

The story will follow the three prequel Star Wars movies, "including the introduction of never-before-seen Angry Birds Star Wars characters," and for the first time ever, "players can choose to 'Join the Pork Side' and play as one of the villainous pigs."

The final episode of Dexter airs on Showtime this Sunday. It's going to be a sad day, but I hope it has a glorious ending! In anticipation of the end, the cable network has released a retrospective video that takes us through the past eight seasons of serial killer greatness. This has been one of my favorite shows to watch for awhile. It's just so damn good, and I can't wait to see how it ends!

We've got some more potential Star Wars: Episode VII casting news for you, and it once again comes from our friends at Latino-Review, who are kicking ass in the movie scoop business. 

They are now saying that Red Tails co-stars Michael B. Jordan (Chronicle) and David Oyelowo (The Butler) are up for a role in the film, and they've both had meetings. Apparently Jordan met with director J.J. Abrams personally. 

There's no word on what character they are up for, but with Luke Skywalker and Han Solo both having kids of their own in the movie, maybe Lando has one too? That's just silly speculation, but you never know.

Whether Jordan ends up in the movie or not, he's going to have a successful career in acting. He's pretty damn talented. I hope things work out for him in this movie though.
