Check out this adorably charming CG animated short film called Girl and Robot, which follows an impatient girl who takes on the task of building a robot. The question is, can she complete it without destroying her own creation?

The short was directed and edited by Mads Dam Jakobsen, and it's a very touching story. I hope you like it!

X-Men Artifacts from DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

Director Bryan Singer continues to tease fans with photos from X-Men: Days of Future Past. The latest image he sent out comes with the caption "Artifacts," and as you can see it features Havok's costume, Magneto's helmet, a wing from Angel Salvadore, and one other thing I can't seem to make out from the early days of the X-Men.

This raises a few questions. Who is storing these items? How did they get them?  And why do they have them? We'll eventually find out when the movie is released on May 23rd, 2014!

Here are three more photos from Spike Lee's Oldboy remake featuring Josh Brolin looking at an octopus, holding a bloody hammer that he used to beat people, and talking with Elizabeth Olsen. I've been hearing more and more about the hammer scene in this movie, and that it's pretty incredible, so that's something to look forward to seeing, even though the movie looks almost exactly like the original.

OLDBOY is a provocative, visceral thriller that follows the story of an advertising executive (Josh Brolin) who is abruptly kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement. When he is inexplicably released, he embarks on an obsessive mission to discover who orchestrated his bizarre and torturous punishment only to find he is still trapped in a web of conspiracy and torment.

The movie also stars Samuel L. Jackson and Sharlto Copley. It comes out on October 25th, 2013. If you missed the red-band trailer for the movie, click here to watch it now.

Recently, Game Freak announced a pretty awesome addition to the gameplay of their next Pokémon games (X Version and Y Version) : Mega Evolutions. These are mid-battle transformations that basically just make your Pokémon a lot more badass. Despite the name, they're actually not evolutions at all--just really cool forms that some Pokémon can now access.

Naturally, within days of the announcement, fans started churning out some really cool art of the seven revealed Mega Pokémon.  Here are some of my favorites that I've seen.

A few weeks Disney announced that they would be combining the worlds of Phineas and Ferb and Star Wars. There were no details revealed at the time about the kind of story they would tell, but in a recent interview with EW, Phineas and Ferb creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh offered some details on the crossover.

"All of [the plot of A New Hope] happens exactly the way it did, but we find out that Phineas and Ferb are Luke’s neighbors on Tatooine and become embroiled in the adventure. Our story all takes place as if you had a slightly wider shot, you could see our characters. Or if you just waited around five minutes after this [Star Wars] storyline, our characters would pass through, which was really really fun to do."

That sounds like it could be fun. They went on to talk about the the voices of the Star Wars characters saying,

"The Star Wars actors are now all 40 years older, so they don’t sound quite the same, so we’re trying to find people who sound like they did when they were young. The guy we had come in to do Harrison Ford sounded so much like young Harrison Ford. It was like, if you didn’t look up you thought, ‘We have Harrison Ford in the booth!’"

They go on to tease that there will be some cameos though from "a few fun folks that also really fit in in a weird way with the whole Star Wars universe."

Phineas and Ferb's Star Wars tribute will air in 2014!

The upcoming Mad Max video game from WB Games looks like it could be a really fun. They've released a cool motion comic giving us a little background on the story, and it introduces a new character named Chumbucket who is Max's mechanic in the game.

I'm sure it will be just as scary.

The famed horror team of director James Wan and writer Leigh Whannell reunite with the original cast of Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Barbara Hershey and Ty Simpkins in INSIDIOUS: CHAPTER 2, a terrifying sequel to the acclaimed horror film, which follows the haunted Lambert family as they seek to uncover the mysterious childhood secret that has left them dangerously connected to the spirit world.

Samuel L. Jackson On His Relationship with Captain America in Sequel

Supposedly Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury will have his biggest role in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. In a recent interview with USA Today the actor discussed his role in the sequel and gets into some detail about Fury's relationship with Captain America. Here's what he had to say...

On what new things we learn learn about Fury in the sequel:

You see Nick Fury the office guy, him going about the day-to-day work of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the politics as opposed to that other stuff. It's great to have him dealing with Captain America in terms of being able to speak to him soldier to soldier and try to explain to him how the world has changed in another way while he was frozen in time. Some of the people who used to be our enemies are now our allies — him trying to figure out, "Well, how do we trust those guys?" or "How do we trust the guys that you didn't trust who don't trust you? And explaining to him that the black and white of good guys/bad guys has now turned into this gray area.
Nick lies to him all the time, too. (Laughs) But he's trying to help him navigate the waters of the new sharks that he doesn't know anything about.

On Robert Redford's character, Alexander Pierce, being his boss and if we'll get a background story:

Yeah, he's part of that World Security Council I was talking to in (The Avengers), just he wasn't there. We also know each other because we've been comrades for a very long time.
There's some stuff that's said that gives you an idea of how he's been part of that environment for a long time and the kind of guy he was.

On finding new stuff to explore with his character, and his relationship with Captain America and Black Widow:

There's always stuff to deal with when I'm being Nick. Everything has another meaning with Nick. Finding the truth of what he's saying in that particular moment is the important thing. Ultimately there's a lie in there somewhere. Sometimes it's a lie he's been told that he hasn't discovered, so I have to deal with that all the time.
There's also the nature of his relationship with different people. Like when he talks to Cap, he can talk to Cap in several different ways. He can talk to him as an equal in terms of they were both soldiers from a specific era, and you understand his kind of morality. He can also talk to him as a guy who's part of a world he doesn't know anything about, and he's a mentor now to help him do something. And then I speak to him sometimes as a boss. There's all those things I have to blend in to make sure he doesn't get rankled or ruffled in a certain kind of way and make sure he understands.
And when I talk to Natasha, it's as a father figure because he loves her in a way that he doesn't love anybody else as part of that whole group of people. The fact that they're both members of this shadow world and he knows her past in a way that no one else knows it, there's an affection and a respect there and a knowledge of that kind of person she is in there. Even if she loves him, if she had to kill him, she would, and he understands that. There's a way of dealing with her that he can't deal with anybody else.
There are all kinds of things that happen. When I'm dealing with the world council, I've got a whole other attitude. And when I look in the mirror, I have to deal with what kind of patriot am I? There's Nick dealing with Nick, and how many lies have I told? Have I told so many lies that I don't really know what's the truth anymore?

The movie is set to be released on April 4th, 2014, and it's going to be incredible! Just the few things I've seen of the film already make me believe the the movie is going to be even better than the first one. Hell! It could be just as good and epic as The Avengers was!

Here are a few more photos released for The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Some of them are new, and some of them aren't. They feature Spider-Man, Stan Lee, and Paul Giamatti, and one of them even teases the Sinister 6.

The stuff footage we saw of this movie at Comic-Con was pretty insane, and it looks like this is going to be such a great sequel! I'm crazy excited to see this thing!

Peter Parker's (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 opens up on May 2nd, 2014.
