Thanks to my kids, I was introduced to an animated web-series from Warner Bros. Animation called DC Super Hero Girls. I know a lot of you are animation fans and also fans of the DC Universe, so I thought I’d point this series out to you in case you’ve never seen it before. 

Life as a teenager can get awkward, especially when you have super powers. At Super Hero High, you'll follow alongside the teenaged Super Heroes as they discover their full super power potential. 

The characters included in the series are Batgirl, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Supergirl, Katana, Poison Ivy, and Bumblebee. The series launched last year and the second season is currently going on. Here are a few episodes to get you going including the most recent featuring Harley Quinn.

20th Century Fox has released three new clips and a TV spot for director Roland Emmerich’s Independence Day: Resurgence. The first clip features Liam Hemsworth and Jessie Usher airborne and in the heat of battle fighting against the alien army. The second clip is called “Why Are They Screaming,” and it features Bill Pullman's President Whitmore receiving some discouraging information from Brent Spiner's Dr. Okun as they listen to the sounds of the aliens screeching. The third clip is called “Fear” and it focuses on Jeff Goldblum’s character as he is trying to put the pieces together about what is going on. Then there’s the TV spot, which is called “Hunt” and offers some cool new footage from the film for you to enjoy.

We always knew they were coming back. After INDEPENDENCE DAY redefined the event movie genre, the next epic chapter delivers global catastrophe on an unimaginable scale. Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet. But nothing can prepare us for the aliens’ advanced and unprecedented force. Only the ingenuity of a few brave men and women can bring our world back from the brink of extinction.

Director David Gordon Green and actor Danny McBride have teamed up for another HBO comedy series project together called Vice Principals and it looks like it could be an incredibly funny new show. 

McBride and Walton Goggins play high school vice principals who are competing for the head principal job, and they are willing to go to some ridiculously extreme lengths to make sure that they secure that position. Things get insanely out of hand when someone else nabs the position.

We’ve got a new trailer for you to watch today that features Bill Murray’s character, who is retiring as the principal of Lincoln High School. As he leaves, he offers some advice to McBride and Goggins before they start competing for his job.

If you were a fan of Eastbound & Down, then this new comedy looks like something that you’ll enjoy. Two seasons of Vice Principals have already been shot and the first season is set to premiere on HBO on July 17th.

So uh, the folks over at Above Average thought it would be fun to whip up a few Mac & Cheese cocktail creations and I thought you might find them amusing. Of course, I wouldn’t drink any of these because the side effect might be a never ending vomit fest of grossness. I’ve included a description of each cocktail that are pictured below. Enjoy the nastiness! 

Mac-Tini

You don’t have to be a James Bond to make this booze-y classic. This one’s as simple as it gets. Ice cold gin, a splash of sweet vermouth and some original (Blue Box) Kraft Macaroni & Cheese. Shake and pour into an icey cold glass.

Berry & Cheese Crush

This light & refreshing cocktail of white wine, berries, triple sec, mint and Kraft Deluxe Mac & Cheese would fit right in at the Kentucky Derby. Treat yourself on a hot summer day.

Mac-Mosa

A twist on the classic. Instead of orange juice, use a full packet of Kraft cheese powder (it’s so much better!) top with champagne and ripe watermelon from your garden.

Saucy Sangria

You might not have Star Wars shaped Mac & Cheese in your pantry but it’s worth the splurge! Combine with red wine, citrus fruits, blueberries, lime and both cheese powder and velvety cheese sauce. Yum!

Cucumber Lime Extra Cheesy Margarita

Adding cucumber to your traditional mac & cheese & lime margarita can add a subtle but delicious note! If you’re making me one, make sure you put cheese powder on the rim! Luvvvv!

Watermelon Swizzle

Muddle mint, watermelon and extra milky Kraft Mac & Cheese in a pint glass. Add seltzer and vodka and enjoy. All your friends will try and kill you for this recipe. Watch out!

As you may or may not know, there fans out there that would love to see Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy, Pacific Rim) suit up as the Green Arrow in the DC cinematic universe. I doubt it will ever happen, but if you’re wondering what the actor might look like in the role of the hero, this is a piece of fan wart that was whipped up by Boss Logic. 

As of right now, there don’t seem to be any plans to bring Green Arrow in to the movie universe, but if they did, they wouldn’t bring Stephen Amell along for the ride. It’s been made very clear that the DC TV universe is a completely separate from the movies. 

Hunnam definitely has the look of the character, so if he was cast in the role of Green Arrow, I wouldn’t complain.

Artist Carlos Fabián Villa is in the process of creating an X-Men character art series that is inspired by the classic 1990 animated series. So far he has released art for Rogue, Jean Grey, Sabertooth, and Cyclops. He also included gifs for each one showing the process of his work from the first initial sketch to the finished product.

Some new photos from the set have surfaced from James Mangold's Wolverine 3 and it features a new look at Hugh Jackman as an older Logan and our first look at Patrick Stewart and an older Charles Xavier. 

The photos come from Just Jared, who reports that the scene in the photo involved the Wolverine and Professor X "rushing out of a casino and into a truck". As you will see they are also joined by a mysterious young actress. There's no information on who she is or what her role is in the movie. 

Wolverine 3 is rumored to be titled Weapon X and you can catch up on all of our Wolverine 3 released news that we've posted here. There's been a lot of interesting information regarding the film that has been slowly leaking out. 

There are also rumors that  X-23 could be introduced in this film, and it was recently reported that the main villains going up against Wolverine in the film would be the Reavers. Wolverine 3 will be released in theaters on March 23rd, 2017.

I remember when my friend got a Nintendo Power Glove when I was growing up. He didn’t know how to work the damn thing, and he wouldn’t let any of his friends play with it and try to get it to work. After a couple of weeks, we never saw him playing with it again and since he never let us try it out, we never asked him if we could try it out. When I finally did get a chance to play with it, it wasn’t as cool as The Wizard made it out to be. It was pretty much useless, but it sure did look cool, though!

An inventive dude by the name of Nolan Moore got himself a Power Glove and replaced the electronics inside with the remote tech to control his drone. 

The AR Drone 2.0 uses WiFi for control. His power glove has an IMU to sense motion, and flex sensors in the fingers. These sensors are monitored by a Teensy LC board which then sends commands over WiFi using an ESP8266 module.

His version of the Power Glove works better as a remote control for the drone than the Nintendo controller it was originally designed for. Check out a video of it in action below.

Fitness equipment manufacturer Onnit has revealed their series of officially licensed Marvel-themed workout gear that they will release later this summer. This line of workout equipment will be called "The Hero Elite Series."

The first thing they will be releasing are these Captain American-themed barbell plates that will come in different weight increments: 25, 35, and 45 pounds. We can also expect to see some Iron Man-themed stuff as well, as the character is also featured on the company's web site. This means we could be seeing Civil Wars exploding in gyms around the nation.

These are pretty cool, and it will be fun to see what they end up doing for Iron Man.

The leader in unconventional training equipment is teaming up with the biggest heroes in the Marvel Universe to form a team of truly epic proportions.

Launching this Summer, Onnit will introduce a series of functional fitness equipment inspired by iconic Marvel characters and designed to help you build super-strength.

The creative and talented bakers of the Little Cherry Cake Company have perfectly mashed the worlds of My Neighbor Totoro and Doctor Who together for this wonderful cake design. Seven Star Re-Animate is a fan project that was started in late 2014 that called for talented fans of Dragon Ball to help recreate a classic episode of the animated series. Over 200 fans answered the call and now that project has been completed, It features several different styles that include a variety of 2D and 3D art styles. 

The episode that they chose to recreate is episode 8, which is where Goku first learns his trademark kamehameha wave. I really enjoyed watching this and there are a ton of fun and crazy animation styles that were included in it that were really cool to watch. 

This is an non profit, global collaborative, fan effort showcasing talented artists showing some love for Dragon Ball. A big thanks should go to all the artists who lent their time, and talents, to this too sweet animation!

I hope this group tries to organize another animated recreation of a classic cartoon series.

Now you can make your own samurai armor out of cardboard! It might not offer you any real protection, but it’s light, cool, and stylish. The armor comes in two different styles: The bright red armor based on famed warrior Sanada Yukimura’s iconic outfit, complete with reindeer horns; and the other is a dark set of armor inspired by Date Masamune’s.

They armor is designed to fit adults from 4′ 11″ to 5′ 10″ tall. They are available for $70 (USD) each from Japan Trend Shop. Techabob amusingly points out that if that’s too much money for you, you can always go the Little Caesar’s armor route.

Mattel has revealed their collection of exclusive toys that will only be available at San Diego Comic-Con this year. My favorite in the bunch is Wonder Woman and her invisible jet. Some of the other toys they've revealed include She-Ra, Ghostbusters, Katana from DC Super Hero Girls, Barbie Wonder Woman, Barbie Star Trek alien girl, Joker from Suicide Squad, and more. 

There's not a lot of information on the Wonder Woman figure, but it looks like the invisible jet actually could be the packaging for the new action figure.
