Here’s a comical piece of art created by Cynthia “Thea” Rodgers for The Line is Drawn art challenge that features all of the male Justice League team members being forced to wear difference versions of Wonder Woman’s costume. It’s titled, “If I Don’t Get Pants, Nobody Does”, and Aquaman’s reaction to it is perfectly hysterical.

Sarah Wayne Callies and More to Reprise PRISON BREAK Roles in Revival

Sarah Wayne Callies (The Walking Dead, Colony) was recently officially set to reprise her role as Dr. Sara Tancredi in Fox’s upcoming Prison Break revival series. She will join returning stars Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell in the event. As a fan of this show, it’s great to see that the old gang is getting back together again for another crazy on-the-run survival adventure.

We will be treated with nine episodes in the upcoming Prison Break limited series, and there are still other cast members in negotiations to come back. Other returning cast members include Robert Knepper as T-Bag, Rockmond Dunbar as C-Note, and Amaury Nolasco as Sucre.

The original Prison Break series focused on Michael (Miller) who entered a prison to attempt to break out his convicted brother Lincoln (Purcell). He came up with a very elaborate plan that worked.

This new chapter of the story “picks up after Michael’s apparent death, Sara has moved on with her life, raising her and Michael’s child with her new husband. When clues surface suggesting that Michael may be alive, Sara teams with Lincoln to engineer the series’ biggest escape ever.”

This is exciting! I can’t wait to see how this story unfolds.

Thor, Loki, and Disney Princesses Reimagined as Disney Gargoyles

Artist Brianna Cherry Garcia is the creator of series of fan art that mashes up Marvel’s Loki, Thor, and a few Disney Princesses with the same design of Disney’s classic Gargoyles cartoon. It takes a pretty hardcore Disney fan to think of this combination of properties. As you can see, they turned out pretty cool.

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: 40 High-Res Photos and Batman Scene Likened to SE7EN and ALIENS

As we prepare to watch Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, we have forty high-resolution photos for you to check out. Many of these images are new, but there are others that we’ve already seen. There’s no doubt that this movie will blow us away with its incredible visuals, and from what I’ve seen and heard, it seems like the story will be just as strong.

When talking to the LA Times, Ben Affleck talked about his first scene in the film and said that it is something out of a horror movie:

"Exactly. It’s like out of Se7en or Aliens or something, which is a really different vibe. My son still watches the Adam West Batman [TV series]. It’s a far cry from where it started."

In a separate interview with Today Online, Zack Snyder says that Wonder Woman isn’t in that much of the movie, but he does promise that she has the coolest moments in the movie:

"The one thing that Wonder Woman does get the opportunity to do, because she’s not as deeply intertwined in the story, is the cool stuff. Like when you just get to show up and be cool, that’s pretty much what she gets to do."

The movie will be unleashed on March 25th, and it seems like the excitement for it is electrifying.

10 Actors Who Almost Went Crazy in Their Movie Roles

Some actors are so devoted to their work that they get so into their characters and sometimes lose themselves in them. This form of acting is called method acting, and the actor basically never breaks character — even in their normal lives while they are shooting the movie. This helps them get deep inside the character and they obviously think it helps them give the best performance possible.

ScreenRant has released a video that lists and breaks down ten actors who almost went crazy because of the role they were playing. Some of these actors include Heath Ledger, Robert De Niro, Nicolas Cage, Shia LaBeouf, Jared Leto, and of course, Daniel Day-Lewis, who needs to make another movie soon!

Method acting isn’t a new technique, but the idea of living the life of a character in order to give an honest performance has only gotten more popular in the last few decades. Some actors can take the technique a bit too far, however, pushing the limits of both themselves and those around them. Here are Screen Rant’s 10 Actors Who Almost Went Crazy in Their Roles.

More Photos From The Set of STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII Feature Some Action

Earlier this week, some set photos leaked out from Dubrovnik, Croatia where director Rian Johnson is currently shooting Star Wars: Episode VIII for Lucasfilm. Those photos featured some new alien creatures and vehicles from the movie.

We have some additional photos for you to see today. They are set in the same location, but there's a little bit more action going on this time around. I have no idea what is happening, but it looks like there's some kind of high-class party going on when something bad happens. It's interesting because the stuff I'm seeing here has a completely different tone than The Force Awakens. It makes sense because there is a different director helming the film.

Star Wars: Episode VIII is set to be released on December 15, 2017. Until then, we are left with our excitement, speculation, and theories about what we'll see.

Adventurous Animated Short Takes us on an Epic Hero’s Journey — GRANDMA’S HERO

Grandma’s Hero is a must-watch animated short that I had a blast watching. It tells the adventurous story of a hero named Lulu, who, after graduating from Hero Academy, sets off on an epic journey to slay a terrifying dragon. He wants to prove himself as a hero, but it becomes kind of difficult for him when his sweet and loving grandma decides to join him on his adventure.

The short was directed by Ben Ozeri and Corentin Monnier for The Animation Workshop and I think the art and animation has a fun and playful style to it. This is a wonderfully original short that I think you’ll enjoy watching. Here’s the synopsis:

As Lulu graduates from the Hero Academy, he finally gets the chance to prove himself a hero to the society that has always doubted him. He sets off on an epic journey to slay the legendary and terrifying dragon. But to his great despair, his sweet and over-caring grandma decides to join him, and what should have been an epic journey full of freedom, blood and beautiful ladies becomes a family trip that will test Lulu’s nerves to their very limit.

Want to see four minutes of some really cool behind-the-scenes footage from Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice? Well, we've got a video featuring some B-roll footage that Warner Bros. has released. It contains a bunch of quick shot showing how various scenes from the film were shot. I thoroughly enjoy watching this kind of stuff, and there’s a lot of extremely cool footage in the video that is worth checking out. The movie making process has always fascinated me.

I also included a few other things for your viewing enjoyment, including new images of Wonder Woman and Superman, a new TV spot called "You've Lost", and a featurette that puts the focus on Superman.

Batman v Superman hits theaters on March 25th, 2016.

Anime Tokyo Images Compared to Real Tokyo Photos

I have yet to see the anime film The Garden of the Words, but I hear it’s an absolutely wonderful film that is beautifully animated. The story takes place in Tokyo, Japan during the rainy season, when everything is green and lush. Thanks to the Japanese website Nijipoi, you can compare the artwork in the film to the actual locations of where the story takes place. Below you will find a collection of images. The top image is from the anime, and the image directly below that is an actual photo of the location.

New TV Spot For THE HUNTSMAN: WINTER’S WAR and 4 Character Motion Posters

$

Universal Pictures has released a new TV spot and four new character motion posters for The Huntsman: Winter's War. The promo post is called “I Am Stronger,” and it offers a bit of new footage from the film. The character posters include Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Emily Blunt, and Jessica Chastain showing off their weapons and powers.

I wasn’t a big fan of Snow White and the Huntsman, but this prequel/sequel looks a helluva lot better! This one will focus on all the other interesting characters that don’t include Snow White, who was the least interesting character in the first film, so it was smart to move on without her.

When Freya (Emily Blunt), a young queen who can freeze her enemies in ice, learns of the demise of her sister, the evil Ravenna (Charlize Theron), she summons her soldiers to recover the Magic Mirror. After resurrecting Ravenna, the two wicked sisters amass a seemingly indestructible army that threatens the kingdom. Only the skills of Eric (Chris Hemsworth) and Sara (Jessica Chastain), two warriors who defied Freya by falling in love, can save this enchanted land from the forces of darkness.

The movie is being directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, and it’s set to be released on April 22, 2016.

BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES Theme Song Gets the Acapella Treatment

Abracadabra! 4 Vintage-Style Magic Posters For NOW YOU SEE ME 2

Lionsgate has released four new character posters for their upcoming magical heist thriller Now You See Me 2. I love the style of these posters, as they were inspired by the vintage magician promotional posters of the early 1900s. The posters feature Jesse Eisenberg as J. Daniel Atlas, Woody Harrelson as Merritt McKinney, Lizzy Caplan as Lula, and Dave Franco as Jack Wilder. As ridiculous and silly as the first movie was, I still enjoyed the hell out of it. It was a lot of fun, and this sequel looks like it will be just as entertaining. If you haven't seen the latest trailer, make sure you check it out here!

The Four Horsemen return for a second mind-bending adventure, elevating the limits of stage illusion to new heights and taking them around the globe. One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public’s adulation with their Robin Hood-style magic spectacles, the illusionists resurface for a comeback performance in hopes of exposing the unethical practices of a tech magnate. The man behind their vanishing act is none other than Walter Mabry (Daniel Radcliffe), a tech prodigy who threatens the Horsemen into pulling off their most impossible heist yet. Their only hope is to perform one last unprecedented stunt to clear their names and reveal the mastermind behind it all.

The movie was directed by Jon Chu and it also stars Mark Ruffalo, Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Jay Chou, and Daniel Radcliffe. The movie hits theaters on June 10, 2016.

Predator Sees a Dentist in This Hilarious Fan-Made Statue

Artist Simon Lee is in the process of creating a hilarious statue that features a Predator alien creature visiting the dentist. I love the comedic twist that this offers. You never think about Predator having to go to the dentist, but here it is with some brave soul. Working on the Predator's teeth probably isn’t the safest thing to do. It seems to have a Norman Rockwell kind of vibe to it. Make sure to check out some of the artist's other work here

Preview Art From THE ART OF THE IRON GIANT Book

preview-art-from-the-art-of-the-iron-giant-book

The Iron Giant is my number one favorite animated film of all time. To me, everything about that movie is absolute perfection. We’ll never see anything quite like that again. It was one of the last great traditionally animated films before CG animation took over the business.

After all of these years, The Iron Giant is finally getting an art book! Usually animated films get a “art-of” book before the film even opens, but it’s been 17 years since The Iron Giant was released.

The Art of The Iron Giant was written by former Animation Magazine editor Ramin Zahed and will be released by Insight Editions. According to Cartoon Brew:

The 160-page book promises lots of development artwork and storyboards that are standard for these type of books, as well as new interviews with Bird and other key members of the film’s creative team. The book will also include artwork from the newly restored scenes in the “signature edition” that debuted last year.

Below you’ll find some preview images from the book giving us a little tease of what it entails. Before you get to that, here’s the official description of the book:

Director Brad Bird's (The Incredibles, Ratatouille) acclaimed film The Iron Giant is considered by fans, critics, and animation historians to be one of the best hand-drawn animated features of the past fifty years. This beautifully illustrated book revisits the classic, with unprecedented access to rarely seen development art and storyboards from the Warner Bros. archives.

10 Most Controversial Casting Decisions in Big Movies

$

Casting a movie isn’t an easy process. Directors and studios are looking for the person who perfectly fits they characters they are trying to bring to life on the big screen. Over the years, there have been a lot of controversial casting decisions that some fan weren’t too happy with...at least at first.

ScreenRant compiled a list of ten actors who were cast in movies that didn’t go over very well with the initial announcement. Some of the actors mentioned in the video are Heath Ledger as The Joker, Michael Keaton as Batman, Daniel Craig as James Bond, Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, Topher Grace as Venom, and more.

Casting is arguably the most important aspect of a film. It’s extremely pertinent to find the right actors for each role, and in the age of social media, everyone thinks they have what it takes to be a casting director. When the actual filmmakers go the other way and pick a choice out of left field, they can draw the ire of fans before even a frame of footage is shown. Here are Screen Rant’s 10 Most Controversial Casting Decisions in Popular Movies.

The Power of Gaze — Stanley Kubrick Movie Video Supercut

One thing I’ve always noticed in the films that Stanley Kubrick has made in his career are the eerie and powerful gazes of his characters. When these characters look at the camera, it’s like they are looking through your soul!

We have a fast-paced video supercut of these shots that were compiled by Jorge Luengo Ruiz. I love how some of these looks make me feel a little uneasy. The creator of the video says:

There are a typical shot in the filmography of Stanley Kubrick where the characters looks in a similar way almost breaking the fourth wall...
