WARCRAFT Movie Trailer Recut With WARCRAFT II Video Game Sound and Music

Duncan Jones' Warcraft movie looks freakin' spectacular! I'm really looking forward to seeing this movie, and this comes from a guy who hasn't played Warcraft since 1996. I've got an awesome recut of the trailer for the film for you to watch that was created by Robert Mermet, and what makes it so great is the fact that all the sound effects, dialogue, and music in the trailer have been replaced by the sound effects, dialogue, and music from the 1995 video Warcraft II! If you've ever played Warcraft II, prepare for a little nostalgic kick that will probably make you laugh. Enjoy!

International Trailer For Michael Bay's 13 HOURS: THE SECRET SOLDIERS OF BENGHAZI

Here's the new international trailer for Michael Bay's new film 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. The director has mostly been keeping himself busy with Transformers movies over the past decade or so, but every once in a while he finds time for a smaller film like this or Pain & Gain. I actually think Pain & Gain is one of Bay's best movies, and while I'm not particularly hopeful about this one, I'm almost certainly going to enjoy it more than I would another Transformers movie.

13 Hours hits theaters this Friday, January 15th.

M. Night Shyamalan Teases "Cool and Dark" Crypt Keeper For New TALES FROM THE CRYPT

$

A few days ago, we wrote about how writer/director/producer M. Night Shyamalan is rebooting the classic horror anthology series Tales From The Crypt, and moving the show from HBO to TNT. The series was a beloved part of many people's childhoods, so naturally the news was met with some hesitation. While a lot of fans are still stung from Shyamalan's string of movies over the past few years, there's some hope that this might be a good fit for him, considering The Visit was a decent return to form, and Wayward Pines received a better reception than anticipated.

Bloody-Disgusting had upsetting news for fans when they reported that HBO actually owns the rights to the iconic puppet version of the show's host, The Crypt Keeper, so he won't appear on the new TNT incarnation of the show. Even John Kassir, the voice of the character, took to Twitter to voice his displeasure:

So instead of using the iconic version of the character, Bloody-Disgusting says a new version will be employed:

Instead, the new show will be highlighted by an old man with a cane, wearing a hood, and keeping warm by a fireplace.

That description is meant to align with the old EC Comics version of the character, as seen below:

/Film reached out to Shyamalan about what he plans to do with the character in the new version of the show for TNT, and Shyamalan responded:

I'd never make Tales without the CK! Will be a new take on him as the puppet is property of HBO. Promise he'll be cool and dark!

Bloody-Disgusting also heard that the new show may eschew the "new story every episode" format in favor of something more akin to American Horror Story, where a single plot plays out over the course of a season; the first season is said to revolve around voodoo in New Orleans. While that sounds like something fans might not appreciate, keep in mind that those plot details may have been associated with an older incarnation of the show that was in development a few years ago but never came to fruition.

What do you think? Are you interested in seeing a new version of The Crypt Keeper? Do you think Shyamalan is the one to revitalize this concept? Will TNT be a proper home for a horror anthology series?

John Boyega Says STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII Is Darker and Finn Is More Physical

There were so many questions left unanswered at the end of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It's a good thing that we have two more films in the new trilogy to answer those questions! I've read a ton of awesome and fun fan speculation of what we could see happen over the course of the next two films.

None of the actors are really talking very much about the next film, but in a recent interview with VogueJohn Boyega, the actor who plays Finn in the franchise, teased that his character will have a more physical presence in Episode VIII. He also said the movie would be even darker than The Force Awakens. Here's his exact quote:

"[The script is] great. Much darker, but we’re very excited."

When asked if he had to prepare for the physical aspect of his character in The Force Awakens regarding his lightsaber fighting, he said:

"No, for this film we really just took it scene by scene, there wasn't a huge regime. My part in the next film will be much more physical so I might be in the gym a bit more."

It's good to know that Finn is going to get back out there and fight some First Order villains. I can't help but think that we're going to see a lot of fun scenes with Finn and Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron in the next film.

I don't think Finn will be using the Force in this saga, but that doesn't mean he still can't kick some ass! How do you think Finn's story arc will play out in Episode VIII?

Star Wars: Episode VIII is being directed by Rian Johnson, and it arrives in theaters on May 26th, 2017.

David Bowie Was Eyed For a Cameo in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Vol. 2

Musician and actor David Bowie died last night at the age of 69. He left behind a family, and a lasting legacy that will hopefully continue to inspire generations to come. One of the people he profoundly impacted while he was with us was Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn, who took to Facebook this morning to share a heartfelt tribute to him. In that post, Gunn reveals that he and Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige had recently met about the opportunity to include Bowie in a cameo role in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2:

Just a very short while ago Kevin Feige and I were talking about a cameo role in Guardians Vol. 2, and he brought up Bowie's name. I told him nothing in the world would make me happier, but I heard from common friends he wasn't doing well. We heard back that he was okay and it could potentially happen.

Gunn also wrote a bit about how Bowie influenced him as an artist:

Bowie was an idol of mine, huge and omnipresent. Few artists in any field have had as an indelible impression upon me as he has. To my mind, Ziggy Stardust is perhaps the greatest rock and roll album of all time. We featured "Moonage Daydream" in Guardians, but I always thought the album's character was felt far beyond that, in the aesthetics, in the integral and seemingly-natural linking in popular culture of '70's rock and space opera. I've been trying to work another song from Ziggy into the sequel, which would make Bowie the only artist to have a song on both Vol. 1 and Vol. 2. I thought this was fair and appropriate.

You can read Gunn's full post right here. Our thoughts and good vibes go out to all of Bowie's friends and family.

Lucasfilm Narrows Search For Young Han Solo To These Contenders

Update: Check out the very bottom of this post for the latest.

After reportedly looking at over 2,500 actors for the man who is going to play a young Han Solo in the upcoming Star Wars spin-off movie, Disney and Lucasfilm have reportedly narrowed down the selection to about twelve actors. Variety reports that as of now, some of those contenders include Miles Teller (above left), Ansel Elgort (above right), Dave Franco (above center), Transformers: Age of Extinction's Jack Reynor, Scott Eastwood, Logan Lerman, Brooklyn’s Emory Cohen, and Everybody Wants Some’s Blake Jenner.

Directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller won’t begin shooting the movie until a year from now (January of 2017), but Variety’s sources indicate that they’re going to make a casting decision in the next couple of weeks. The reason for the relatively quick decision? Because a young Solo may have a cameo in the prequel Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which only has a month left of shooting before principal photography is complete. That film takes place in between Episode III and Episode IV, and concerns the theft of the plans for the Death Star. It’s not outside the realm of possibility that Solo could have been tangentially involved in that somehow, considering his smuggling past.

Still, writers Lawrence and Jon Kasdan better be careful not to give Solo enough information that he’d have in-depth knowledge about anything that would make the character's actions in the original trilogy not make sense. If he actually gets his hands on the plans for the Death Star in this prequel movie, for example, how would anyone be able to explain why Han wouldn't reveal that to anyone in the OT?

Of these actors listed (how in the hell did Jack Reynor make the cut?), I'm partial to Teller and Cohen, and I kind of hope they go with Cohen just because he's the unconventional choice here. I'd prefer to see an unknown in the part, and that might be as close as we get (if the remaining unnamed members of the twelve-person shortlist aren't actual unknowns, that is).

One thing seems certain: Harrison Ford isn't interested in giving the winner of the role any pointers.

The Han Solo origin film is scheduled to hit theaters on May 25, 2018.

Update: EW's Anthony Breznican took to Twitter to share his own intel:

5 Movies To Watch In Memory Of David Bowie

$

dav

The death of David Bowie has been a big loss for a lot of people, myself included. He was an amazing musician as well as just an awesome figure in culture in general. So, to remember Bowie, I decided to create a list of 5 movies that should be checked out to remember him. To start this list, let's get started with some honorable mentions before we jump to number 5.

Honorable Mentions

There are so many great movies I wanted to include in this list, but I figured if I made it longer than five, people might pass it by. But I do want to mention a few that if you have time, you should definitely check out, because it shows how versatile Bowie was as a performer. The Hunger is a great vampire movie to check out with Bowie as a vampire who has 24 hours to live. In Basquiat, David gives a phenomenal portrayal of the iconic Andy Warhol that has to be seen to be believed. Also check out Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, The Man Who Fell to Earth, and The Last Temptation of Christ if you have a free weekend. Bowie truly is an underrated actor.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty

To start the list, I decided to go with a movie that Bowie isn't actually in, but one of his songs is a central piece to the plot. Walter Mitty, the title character, is just an average guy, but in a moment of inspiration, he hears "Space Oddity" and decides to actually do something with his life. This movie had some mixed reviews but overall seems generally well-liked. The moment that makes the movie for me is the Bowie song, though. It turns a song that many take as just a song about a guy in space and makes it relatable to people who feel lost in our real lives and need to take action. It's powerful, and although the movie doesn't actually have Bowie himself in it, I felt the song was a strong enough influence on the movie to include it in my list.

Moon

Again, I include a movie that doesn't actually have Bowie in it, but has his feel and presence. Which makes sense, because his son, Duncan Jones, made it. Moon is a film about an astronaut, played by the brilliant Sam Rockwell, who is alone in space and finds a curious discovery on the moon while apart of a mining experiment. The movie is FANTASTIC and deep, and has much of the feel of "Space Oddity," concerning a lone man in space who misses his family, and may never return. This should be a must-see if you haven't already seen it. It's a bit obscure but is remarkably touching and insightful. Plus it shows Bowie's legacy in his son, who is an astounding creator in his own right. That's something Bowie would be proud of.

Absolute Beginners

This is an odd choice for sure, but one that is a personal favorite of mine that I wanted to make sure I included. David Bowie plays a cool ad man who is tempting the main character in the most stylish way possible. He may not be the lead in this movie, but he is certainly the most entertaining and memorable part. He sings a song that he wrote for the film, "That's Motivation," which is so classy and slimy at the same time, you have to see it to believe it. This is the fun, creative, and smart Bowie that made him what he is today.

The Prestige

Another smaller role for Bowie, but one that captured him well in his later life. Here, Bowie plays Nikola Tesla, a reclusive, outcast, scientist whose brilliance is illuminated by the portrayal Bowie gives. It isn't a huge role, but Bowie makes it so intriguing. Honestly, I would have watched a full movie of Bowie playing Tesla. He has such gravitas that few actors have. Even when he isn't playing a charming super-cool guy, you get the idea that whatever part he is playing means something important. Plus there is a certain magic between Bowie and Tesla that resonates with one another. They are both these enigmatic geniuses the world viewed through a lens of wonder and amazement.

Labyrinth

Anyone who didn't expect this to be the number one on my list just doesn't get my love for Bowie. Yes, it is his biggest, most memorable role, and yes, moments of the movie are cheesy/creepy, but this movie is so amazing and shows the artist at his prime, dancing with puppets and teenage girls having a blast. He not only starred in it, but also wrote music for the film. This movie displays all sorts of emotions from Bowie as the evil Jareth, the Goblin King, and there are so many memorable lines delivered only in a way Bowie can deliver. He really goes all out in this film and I'm glad he does. He was a great musician, actor, and artist. I'm glad I lived during his time and got to see his works before he passed. He will be missed greatly by all, as an inspiration to artists around the world.  Here's to you, Mr. Bowie. You have made my life happier by being an icon in it.

Watch: CBS's RUSH HOUR TV Reboot Looks Utterly Abysmal

CBS has released the first trailer for its small screen reboot of Rush Hour, the mismatched buddy cop franchise directed by Brett Ratner. As much as we all like to crap on Ratner's directorial efforts, I'll admit to enjoying the first two Rush Hour movies when they came out (I never saw the third one). But this TV adaptation looks awful in every aspect, from what looks to be bad casting, to cheap-looking special effects, to a terrible job of recycling jokes and situations from the first film.

"The booty has been noted"? Are they serious with this? Wow. You know what this means, don't you? It's probably going to become the most-watched show on TV and it'll run for like ten seasons. They should have stuck with the fake Rush Hour 4 Face/Off 2 concept instead.

Rush Hour premieres on CBS on March 31st.

Jamie Foxx Cast as Little John in ROBIN HOOD: ORIGINS

With the recent success of Disney's live-action films based on their classic animated films (and many of those being inspired or adapted from fables or fairy tales), it's no surprise that other studios are continuing to tap into properties that are in the public domain in an effort to capitalize on the public's perceived desire to see these stories rehashed over and over again on the big screen. The trend will continue with Robin Hood: Origins, a Lionsgate film that's set to tell a Batman Begins-style origin of the hero of Sherwood Forest that has Kingsman: The Secret Service's Taron Egerton in place the title character.

Deadline reports that Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx is now on board to play Little John, who, in this version, will be "a battle hardened but war weary veteran of The Crusades who starts out distrustful of Robin Hood (they fought on opposite sides), and then warms to the young hero in the gritty revisionist take on the legend." Joby Harold (Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur) wrote the script, Otto Bathurst (Peaky Blinders) is directing, and Eve Hewson is playing Maid Marian. I'm sure there will be people who complain about casting a black man as Little John, and if that just described you, let me say this: just give it a rest already. It's 2016, for God's sake. "Race-bending" or whatever you want to call this type of casting is going to continue to happen, so do yourself a favor and get used to it. Besides, does anyone care so much about Robin Hood: Origins that they'd be thrown into a rage about a piece of casting news about this movie?

Cults Are In Right Now: Trailers For COLONIA and THE PATH

A few years ago, the Sundance Film Festival was bursting with movies about cults: Martha Marcy May Marlene, The East, Red State, and Sound of My Voice all debuted there. Now, five years later, it seems that cults are back in vogue once again. Today we have two cult-centric trailers to share with you; one for a film called Colonia, and the other for a new Hulu series called The Path.

Colonia stars Emma Watson as a young woman who goes undercover in a dangerous cult in an effort to save her boyfriend, who is played by Daniel Bruhl. Apparently it hasn't been getting very good reviews, and it doesn't even have U.S. release date lined up yet, but here's a new international trailer:

Chile, 1973. Lufthansa flight attendant Lena (Emma Watson) is in Santiago to visit her boyfriend, Daniel (Daniel Brühl), a talented graphic artist creating images in support of embattled President Salvador Allende. When Allende is violently ousted, General Augusto Pinochet’s forces begin rounding up dissidents. Daniel is taken to the remote stronghold of Colonia Dignidad (“Dignity Colony”), home to a secret agricultural commune and crypto-fascist sect led by sinister minister Paul Schäfer (Michael Nyqvist). Daniel is interrogated and tortured, but feigns severe mental deterioration to stay alive. Valiant and wily, Lena travels to Colonia and offers herself up to Schäfer as a follower. She is determined to find and free Daniel — but first she must ensure that she herself can survive Schäfer’s crushingly oppressive, viciously misogynistic practices.

Meanwhile, on the TV side of things, The Path is a new ten-episode Hulu original series from Jason Katims, the executive producer of Friday Night Lights and Parenthood. Aaron Paul and Michelle Monaghan star, and here's the official synopsis:

The Path follows a family at the center of a controversial cult movement as they struggle with relationships, faith, and power. Each episode takes an in-depth look at the gravitational pull of belief and what it means to choose between the life we live and the life we want. The Path comes to Hulu from Universal Television and Jason Katims’ True Jack Productions and was created by Jessica Goldberg who will write and executive- produce the series, along with Katims and Michelle Lee of True Jack Productions.

What do you all think? Are you going to be checking out either of these? The Path comes to Hulu on March 30th.

Javier Bardem Joins Jennifer Lawrence in Darren Aronofsky's Next Film

A couple of months ago, we heard that Jennifer Lawrence had joined director Darren Aronofsky's upcoming indie film, but at the time, details about the plot were impossible to come by. Now, thanks to Variety, we know a little bit more about the project, including a new addition to the cast: Javier Bardem.

The movie, which is still untitled, centers on "a couple whose relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence." Lawrence is said to be playing one half of the couple, while Bardem is in negotiations to play one of the uninvited guests. The movie is set for release in 2017. We'll be on the lookout for more details about this one to relay to you, but the idea of Aronofsky, Lawrence, and Bardem teaming up sounds like a cool collaboration in the making even without much to go on at this stage.

Meanwhile, Aronofsky is working on a TV series that is going to be filmed in space called One Strange Rock, which seems to have environmental aspirations similar to those he explored in Noah. Lawrence will next be seen this summer in X-Men: Apocalypse, and she also co-stars with Chris Pratt in the sci-fi romance Passengers which will hit theaters in December.

CREED Sequel Aiming For 2017, Which Means Ryan Coogler Won't Direct

Last week, I wrote about some of the ideas Sylvester Stallone and Creed director Ryan Coogler have for Creed II, and in that report, Stallone talked about how he wasn't sure what the timeline would look like for production on the sequel because of Coogler's lack of availability. (The 29-year-old filmmaker is in talks to direct Marvel's Black Panther.) But now it seems that MGM wants to get this movie into theaters as quickly as possible to capitalize on Creed's popularity: MGM CEO Gary Barber told Variety that he's aiming for a November 2017 release for Creed II, which would be exactly two years after the previous film hit theaters.

The bad news here is that if this timeline holds true, there's essentially no way that Coogler will be back to direct this sequel. That's very bad news, because the reason Creed felt like a vibrant, energetic, vital piece of filmmaking was because it was Coogler's passion project. With him out of the picture (or just in an executive producer capacity while he's busy at Marvel), chances aren't great that the studio will be able to find someone else with that same passion and ability to come in and take over the franchise. Aiming for a release date (though Barber says the date isn't officially locked in yet) before having a script in hand is almost never a good sign creatively-speaking, and now there's a very real danger of Creed II becoming what a lot of people assumed Creed would be: a cynical cash grab.

Considering the ambitious story ideas Coogler had, I would have loved to have seen him get behind the camera again for the sequel, but it looks like that's not going to happen. Now all that's left is to hope that whoever MGM gets as a replacement shares the same love of the Rocky movies and the same drive to elevate this sequel above just cashing in on the typical formula.

Footage of Princess Leia’s Appearance in STAR WARS REBELS

Star Wars Rebels executive producer Dave Filoni has previously teased that Lucasfilm would be bringing a new major character from the original Star Wars trilogy into the animated series. We've now learned that Princess Leia Organa will make her debut on the show as a teenager.

TV Insider has some information on her role in the story saying, “The teenage princess is sent to Lothal—the base planet for the series’ main characters, a group of rebel fighters—on a secret mission to bring ships for the rebel fleet. Unfortunately, an Imperial lockdown throws that plan into chaos.”

Filoni also talked about bringing the character into the series in the press release we received:

“We thought we had an opportunity to show her learning to be a leader, experimenting with the personality that becomes the stronger more resolute character you see in A New Hope. One of the complex challenges of depicting Leia in Rebels is that we have to remind the audience that at this point she is part of the Empire. She doesn’t believe in the Empire, but she is acting the part, almost a double agent.”

He went on to say:

The Empire sees her as a privileged princess who runs mercy missions to wayward worlds, but in truth she is much stronger and more dangerous than they imagine.”

The episode she will be in is called “A Princess in Lethal,” and it’s set to air on January 20th. It will be her only appearance this season. There’s no word on if we’ll see her again in the series, but since she is being introduced, there’s always a chance that she could come back.

The voice of the character will be provided by Julie Dolan, who played Leia in the video game Star Wars: Uprising. Other characters from the original trilogy that have made their way into the series include Darth Vader, C-3PO, R2-D2, Yoda, and Lando Calrissian.

It's Official: Ryan Coogler Will Direct Marvel's BLACK PANTHER

$

Not much of a surprise here, but today Marvel officially confirmed that Creed and Fruitvale Station director Ryan Coogler will direct Black Panther.

“We are fortunate to have such an esteemed filmmaker join the Marvel family,” said producer Kevin Feige. “The talents Ryan showcased in his first two films easily made him our top choice to direct ‘Black Panther.’ Many fans have waited a long time to see Black Panther in his own film, and with Ryan we know we’ve found the perfect director to bring T’Challa’s story to life.”

This announcement has been expected for weeks, and it further solidifies the notion that Coogler will not have time to direct the sequel to Creed, which MGM is trying to get into theaters in November of 2017.

Chadwick Boseman will play Black Panther, and the character will make his debut in Captain America: Civil War before moving into his solo film. That solo project, which Feige referred to as a "big geo-political action adventure," is supposed to feature a primarily black cast, which will be a cool change of pace, especially when it comes to mega-budgeted comic book movies. Coogler is a fantastic director and while I'm bummed that he won't be directing Creed II, I'm excited to see him step further up the Hollywood ladder and take on a potentially awesome project like this.

Black Panther roars into theaters on February 16, 2018.

Deadpool delivers a powerful round-house kick to the face in one of these two new TV spots for the upcoming film. One of the Deadpool spots is similar to the Bachelor promo we posted last week, but there’s a some great new footage of the Merc With a Mouth kicking some ass for you to enjoy.

I also included a series of new official posters, which gives the movie a romantic kind of vibe. The movie is being released on Valentine's Day weekend, so the marketing team seems to be having fun trying to market the film to female audiences.

If your wife or girlfriend go to see Deadpool with you on Valentines Day… you’ve got a real keeper! There’s nothing better than a good old-fashioned violent, action-packed, and bloody romantic comedy to watch with a loved one.

The movie hits theaters on February 12th, 2016.

Details On General Ross’ Role in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, Don’t Expect Red Hulk

details-on-general-ross-roll-in-captain-america-civil-war-dont-expect-red-hulk

I think it’s great that the Russo Bros. brought back William Hurt to reprise his role of General “Thunderbolt” Ross in Captain America: Civil War. He will have a significant role in the film, but don’t expect him to Hulk out anytime soon.

It was previously rumored that General Ross would transform into the Red Hulk in the movie, which is what happens in the comics. But the directors killed that rumor while talking about the character during an international press tour interview. When asked about Ross’ role in the story, Anthony Russo said:

"General Ross is a big presence in Civil War. He's a character who was ham-fisted in his approach in The Incredible Hulk. I think that's a polite way to put it. And I think he's learned from his over-aggressiveness in that movie and he's become more of a politicaian. He's much savvier now, and he's cornering the Avengers. Superheroes have always been anathema to him; he's not a fan of them. So now he's come at them strategically, by aligning the world against them and cornering them... I think you'll find he's grown as a character, he's different than he was in Incredible Hulk, and he's a more formidable, policital opponent to him."

When Red Hulk was brought up in the conversation, they said:

"There's always a chance in Marvel you could see anything, but let's say: There is no Red Hulk in Civil War."

I was excited for the possibility of seeing Red Hulk. Maybe somewhere down the line in the MCU it will happen. Maybe this movie will even set it up. We’ll just have to wait and see how General Ross’ story arc will play out in the film. Captain America: Civil War comes out on May 6th, 2016.

Guillermo del Toro Says PACIFIC RIM 2 Is “Still Going”

Back in September of last year we learned that Legendary Pictures had put Pacific Rim 2 on hold indefinitely. This led to a lot of people speculating that the film has been cancelled. It turns out that might not be the case. Director Guillermo del Toro recently took Twitter to set the record straight:

Del Toro was originally supposed to go into production on Pacific Rim 2 after he finished Crimson Peak, but the movie has had a rough road. It was put on hold then eventually removed from Legendary and Universal Pictures’ movie release line-up altogether. I was really hoping it wasn’t dead, so it’s great to hear that Del Toro is still working on it.

Last week it was revealed that he is in talks to develop a new version of Fantastic Voyage for James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment. If he ends up doing that, then maybe Pacific Rim 2 will happen after.

BATMAN: THE KILLING JOKE Film Premiering at Comic-Con, Will Kevin Conroy Join Mark Hamill?

$

Batman: The Killing Joke is one of the most highly anticipated animated films to come out of DC Animation. As many of you already know, the film was announced last year, and it's based on one of the darkest and most controversial Batman graphic novels.

The graphic novel was released in 1988 and gives an origin story of the Joker, and in the process some crazy shit goes down.

Bruce Timm is an executive producer on the project and during and interview with ConTV he revealed that the film will premiere this summer at San Diego Comic Con. He also revealed that the movie will include original new scenes that weren't in the comic that will add to the story so they deliver a well-rounded film.

There is no information on what these scenes will entail, but they are sure are going to make things more interesting. We already know the story, so the addition of these scenes will keep fans on their toes.

I'm curious to see how this turns out. We've reported that Mark Hamill will be reprising his role as the Joker in this movie, but there has been no confirmation from the studio on that. There’s a chance we could see Hamill reteam with Kevin Conroy, as Conroy recently posted an image of himself hugging Hamill, and it came with the following caption:

“I finally caught my favorite villain! Bats nabs Joker.”

Why are these two currently hanging out? One could speculate that they are working on this project together. It would be awesome if that were the case! Right now it’s just fan hope and speculation. We’ll just have to wait and see.

I'm really hoping that Warner Bros. doesn't hold back on bringing this insane story to life. I want to see it in all its gritty glory.
