The Hot Toys Star Wars awesomeness continues with a new collectible Deluxe Edition action figure for Boba Fett. This is the version of the character from Return of the Jedi, which wasn't the Bounty Hunter's finest hour. As you all know, he didn't last very long. Hell, the toy even comes with the Sarlacc that swallowed him up!

Hot Toys has been making some awesomely huge 1/6th scale vehicles from the Star Wars universe. So far they have the Millennium Falcon and a TIE Fighter. I think they need to add Boba Fett's Slave 1 to that collection!

Here's the description for the new figure!

In Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, Jabba the Hutt has sentenced Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Chewbacca to death by casting them into the Great Pit of Carkoon on Tatooine, but Luke Skywalker has saved themselves from the terrible fate by fending off the fearsome bounty hunter Boba Fett and Jabba’s minions! In a memorable moment in the film, Han Solo accidentally hits Boba Fett and knocked the Mandalorian down into the Sarlacc’s pit.

Today, Hot Toys is excited to officially present the new Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi 1/6th scale Boba Fett Collectible Figure (Deluxe Version)!

The highly-accurate collectible figure is specially crafted based on the image of Boba Fett in Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi. It features finely sculpted Boba Fett helmet and armor, his signature jetpack, detailed weapon, accessories, and figure stand. This deluxe version will exclusively include an additional specially crafted Sarlacc diorama figure base and two real-like jetpack thrust fire accessories!

This iconic bounty hunter deserves a spot in your Star Wars collection!

Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie on Winter Soldier's Role in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

0

While at Disney's D23 Expo we got to see some jaw-dropping footage from Captain America: Civil War. It's going to be awhile before they show off any footage to the general public, but you can read all about it here.

Chris Evans and Anthony Mackie were at the event to talk about the project, which is currently in production. During a couple of interviews the two discuss Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier's involvement in the story and their relationship with him. Mackie says:

"The relationship between the three characters is more so a bond of kindred friendship. My respect for Cap helps me to help him find Bucky because I know how much that means to him, knowing where he's come from and everything and what he's gone through to this point. It's more so of an understanding and respect than it is three guys chumming around having a good time."

Evans goes on to emphasize that the friendship between Rogers and Wilson is still going to play a major part of the film.

"You've got to understand, Cap coming off the last movie, Falcon's the one guy - having known the least in terms of history - he actually trusts the most. There's a really nice kinship between these two characters and they do a really good job of picking up where we left off."

With the epic line-up of superheroes that they have appearing in the film, you'd think it's an another Avengers sequel. In regards to that Evans says:

"I don't know if it feels like an Avengers movie having been on an Avengers movie where you have to really balance a lot of storylines. They do a pretty good job of understanding the arc of what the story needs."

Fans of Marvel are going to love what the studio has in store for this. It's going to be cool to see the ramifications it has on the MCU.

You can watch the video interviews below from MTV and Flicks And The City.

STAR WARS ANTHOLOGY Films Renamed A STAR WARS STORY

the-star-wars-anthology-films-renamed-a-star-wars-story

When Lucasfilm and Disney first announced their Star Wars standalone films, they said they would be known as the Star Wars Anthology films. So far those films include Rogue One and the Han Solo origin story. During their presentation at the D23 Expo, they revealed that those films would now be known as A Star Wars Story. So a full title will look like Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

During the presentation, the studios released the graphic above, showing us the Star Wars movies that they have officially lined up. We also learned that Jurassic World director Collin Trevorrow will be directing Star Wars: Episode IX; we got our first cast photo from Gareth Edward's Rogue One; and fans got a sweet-ass new Drew Struzan poster for J.J. Abram's Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

So what do you think of the title change? I got used to Star Wars Anthology, but A Star Wars Story works too. Which version do you like better?

New Evidence of Joker's Possible True Identity in BATMAN V SUPERMAN

new-evidence-on-jokers-possible-true-identity-in-batman-v-superman

It seems like there may have been evidence of The Joker's true identity in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice right in front of our eyes. It just hadn't been pointed out to us until now.

A fan has linked a couple of official photos that shed some light on the villain and his past. This is just speculation for now, but it's very intriguing and if true, it's a major SPOILER, so if you don't want to know, stop reading now!

SPOILER WARNING!

It has been rumored in the past that the Joker in the DC Extended Universe used to be Robin. Before you think that theory is ridiculous, just remember that Dick Grayson went insane and became the new Joker in Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Strikes Again. So this very well could happen in the movies, especially since director Zack Snyder was heavily inspired by Miller's Batman comics.

A lot of that speculation started when in the Batman v Superman trailer Batman asked Alfred, "20 years in Gotham, how many good guys are left? How many stayed that way?"

Well, this new evidence that has come to light could be proof that Batman was referring to Robin. As you can see in the photos below, there are two scars on Joker's shoulders that match up with two damaged spots on the shoulders of Robin's suit.

This very well could prove that this could be a second generation version of the Joker. But maybe it's just a crazy coincidence.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Animated Short - Rocket Raccoon Origins

guardians-of-the-galaxy-animated-short-rocket-raccoon-origins

Marvel has released their latest animated origins short for their Guardians of the Galaxy series, and it focuses on everyone's favorite hot-tempered rodent, Rocket Raccoon. It shows us how Rocket Raccoon became the lovable badass character that we all know and love. He undergoes procedures that made him stronger and smarter and gave him the ability to walk on two legs and talk. It also shows us how he met Groot for the first time.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy follows the newly-formed team who finds a strange artifact keyed only to the DNA of Peter Quill. Upon opening it, Quill unleashes a treasure map leading to a powerful weapon known as the Cosmic Seed which is capable of giving birth to the next universe. It’s up to the Guardians to find, protect and ultimately destroy the Cosmic Seed in order to keep it out of the hands of those who would abuse its power, from galactic big boss Thanos, to the conniving brothers the Collector and the Grandmaster, to a resurrected Ronan, to the ultimate trickster, Loki, in order to save the universe.

The series is not connected to the Marvel cinematic universe, but as you've seen, it is obviously heavily inspired by it. The animated series premieres on September 26th on Disney XD! To watch the origin shorts for Star-Lord and Groot, click here.

Mad Max: Fury Road is easily one of the most entertaining movies of the year. It is a non-stop, adrenaline-fueled thrill ride of insanity. The movie won't be released on Blu-ray until September 1st, but three deleted scenes from the movie have been released online for you to check out. They feature a brief NSFW scene involving a woman's breast. They also include a very fake looking "temp baby" that looks even worse than the fake baby used in American Sniper. Watch the clips in the video embed below.

STAR WARS Lands Coming to Disneyland and Disney World, STAR TOURS Getting FORCE AWAKENS Destinations

During the Lucasfilm panel at the D23 Expo, Walt Disney Company Chairman and CEO Bob Iger came on stage to make a surprise announcement and said:

“I am thrilled to announce the next chapter in the long and exciting history between Disney Parks and Star Wars. Through each new attraction and new land we create, we push the boundaries of what is possible. And as you can imagine, with Star Wars, we are taking that to a whole new level, with a whole galaxy to explore.”

Disneyland Park in Anaheim and the Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando will each be getting 14-acre expansions for Star Wars-themed parks. Iger presented lots of concept art and a teaser video, and Disney sent us three pieces we can share. The Star Wars lands will be living, breathing worlds full of costumed performers, a full sized Millennium Falcon, a cantina, and several rides.

As you can see from the art, it's not a world we've seen before. In all likelihood this is a planet we will see in a future film (wink, wink, nudge, nudge). No exact date has been announced for when those lands will be opening.

Also, Walt Disney Imagineering's Scott Trowbridge announced that Star Tours will be getting new destinations added that tie into the upcoming film Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Again, no exact date was announced, but it's coming in the next couple months to coincide with the release of the The Force Awakens.

Interactive Live-Action Shorts For PS4's Horror Game UNTIL DAWN

Interactive Live-Action Shorts for PS4's Horror Game UNTIL DAWN

Supermassive Games and Sony have revealed a really cool interactive short film to promote their upcoming horror game Until Dawn. They are developing a short series of live-action films to "illustrate the gravity of the decisions you’ll be forced to make in the game."

The short films explore certain scenarios that were inspired by the game. The first is an interactive one called “Choices,” in which you get to determine what happens in the story. The other short I included is called “Road Not Taken.” It's not interactive, but it has a great dark tone and atmosphere that you will see in the game.

I had the opportunity to play Until Dawn at E3 earlier this summer, and I really enjoyed it! It's a very different and unique way of playing games and telling stories.

Eight friends trapped together on a remote mountain retreat, and they aren’t alone. Gripped by dread, with tensions running high, they must fight through their fear if they all hope to make through the night in one piece. Play as each of the eight characters and experience fear like you never have before. Every decision you make in your terrifying search for answers could mean the difference between life and death, but for whom? Your actions alone will decide who survives Until Dawn.
Make the impossible choices, where every decision in your terrifying search for answers could mean the difference between life and death, but for who? Harnessing the power of an evolved Killzone Shadow Fall engine, Until Dawn will shock you with realistic graphics and terrify you edge-of-your seat gameplay. Carve your path to survival with branching story lines that promise no two experiences will be the same. The choices you make may ripple unseen into moments of grave peril, or they may very well save a life. Immerse yourself in a truly spine-tingling story written in collaboration with famed cult writer/directors Larry Fessenden & Graham Reznick.

The director of the "Choices" short film had this to say about bringing it to life:

"We took our inspiration from the many choices presented in the game and from its cinematic style. We want to give the viewer a feeling of what it’s like being caught up with a killer on the loose - having to make life threatening decisions on the run.
"Most people can relate to watching a horror and disapprove of the decisions made by the main protagonists.
"Now you can actually have a say in them - and carry full responsibility if the protagonist gets away or is killed in a brutal way ...we find that extremely cool!"

Until Dawn is a PlayStation 4 exclusive, and it will be released on August 25th, 2016.

5 Reasons The Japanese Batman Was The Best '60s Batman

0
0

The Batman craze of the '60s was not exclusive to the United States. In Japan, Shonen King obtained the rights from DC and commissioned Manga legend Jiro Kuwata (best known for the classic anime 8 Man) to write and draw several Batman manga for its readers. These issues ran from 1966-1967 and were relatively unknown stateside until author Chip Kidd chronicled them in his book Bat-Manga!: The Secret History Of Batman In Japan.

I recently got my hands on the newly released compilation Batmanga Volume Two, which is a black and white English translation of several stories that ran in its time. Upon finishing, I came to two conclusions:

  1. Batman transcends international barriers
  2. Japan '60s Batman > USA '60s Batman

This isn't as entirely controversial as you think. While the original stories and tone were very much Japanese, Batman still remained entirely American. No major liberties were taken in this series and no canonical changes were made in the transition overseas. That being said, I think Japan's take on '60s Batman is more at home in manga and more natural than he ever was in the US.

1. Gadgets

'60s Batman was more gadget heavy than anything. The use of physical force was there, but when it came down to the wire, Batman and Robin were always relying on their gadgets to find a way through. '60s Batman was also particularly good at having oddly specific gadgets that would be useless in all situations except the exact moment in which they were being used.

The Japanese have long held a love of gadgetry, and when it comes to niche silly tech, we know they're unrivaled. Seeing a freeze gun or "shark repellent" canister on the utility belt doesn't seem that out of the ordinary in a country that sells USB forehead neck coolers, or remote controlled garbage cans.

2. They Made Clayface A Unicorn

Clayface was always a cool character in the Batman rogues. His mythical element allowed for a lot of playing with the character and often pushed Batman to the limits. Many would believe, however, that the character did not hit a stride until years later. This manga run featured an alternate Clayface apart from the canon Clayfaces, and made him a little more unique.

When I say unique, I mean this Clayface shifted into spinning tops, unicorns, and the like.

Once again, it's such a very campy thing that felt so rooted in the Japanese animation culture it didn't seem at all out of the ordinary!

3. Things Are A Little Darker

It's always important to remember when talking about '60s Batman that he was primarily a vessel for kids to be entertained. While that still remains true on the Japanese front, there are some stories I think may have been a bit over the top for kids of the day. My second favorite story in this compilation involves pro wrestling villain The Hangman. After The Hangman, an unpopular villain wrestler in Gotham, kills a would-be thief, he gains the approval and respect of the people of Gotham. Batman, convinced that something is amiss, finds more and more evidence that this Hangman is not so noble as we would think. Fast forward to a main event where Hangman and Batman have a pro wrestling match for the love and adoration of the people of Gotham.

Batman wins through some trickery and unmasks the wrestler as a former wrestler believed to be dead as well as a violent killer. Disgraced and realizing his love and adoration is gone, the killer jumps to his death to prevent his capture. This isn't a vague falls-into-the-ocean deal either. This guy jumps off a building, dies on the ground, and his little sister (who tried to commit suicide earlier in the comic) is seen crying next to him.

It was f**** up, but at the same time I respected the opportunity to see '60s Batman in a quasi real life scenario. Not everything worked out, and the world was forced to mourn. That's something we never really see from this Batman that we definitely see and appreciate down the line.

4. Sci-Fi And Robots

Something you'll notice while reading this collection is that nearly every story is rooted in science fiction or involves robots. No real hard crimes, but scientists with a means to an end. Henchmen that are thought to be living but are actually robots. Goofy stuff that really falls in line with other manga of the time and the Japanese obsession of robotics. To be honest, I was a fan of the science element and the mad scientist angle. It made me wonder what a paranormal centric Batman series would be like!

5. Batman And Robin Battle A Kaiju

My absolute favorite story in this compilation hands down was The Monster Of Gore Bay. Here we see Batman and Robin travel and take on a straight up Kaiju! This blew the cap off the geekometer for me. Batman and a sea monster, does it get any better? The answer is yes. In fact, the whole encounter ends with a mecha vs original battle that had me all too sad when the series finally came to an end.

I cannot recommend this series enough. It's a great read and a great look into the culture of Batman and what he means to a different part of the world. Go get it!

Orlando Bloom Officially Returning For PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES

0
0

Last year, Orlando Bloom mentioned that he had been in discussions with Disney about reprising his role as Will Turner in the upcoming sequel Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, but we weren't sure if he'd actually be coming back or not. This past weekend at the D23 Expo, it was officially announced that he'll be starring in the film.

There's no word on whether or not Keira Knightley will be coming back this time, too, but I suppose there's a way to include Bloom's character in the story without Knightley's Elizabeth getting involved since the last time we saw him at the end of Pirates 3, he became an immortal being who captains The Flying Dutchman and ferries souls to the Netherworld, supposedly only allowed to visit Elizabeth (and their son) once every ten years.

I thought Will and Elizabeth's relationship worked well as the centerpiece for the original movie, but by the time the third film ended, I was sick of seeing them. Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow is the main reason people come to these movies, but On Stranger Tides apparently didn't do well enough to convince the studio that he could headline another adventure on his own. I'm frankly a little surprised another movie is even happening at all, since I feel like this franchise has fully run its course, but — much like the pirates it depicts — where there's money to be made, you can be sure Disney will be there to try to claim it.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales arrives in theaters on July 7th, 2017.

Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar, escape from the Devil's Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea...including him. Captain Jack's only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas.

Fan Art Imagines Ronda Rousey as CAPTAIN MARVEL

Last week MMA fighter Ronda Rousey revealed that if she could play any superhero in the Marvel Universe, she would play Captain Marvel. She's had a shit-ton of fan support, and now the fan art is starting to roll in. Over the weekend, Rousey shared two pieces of fan art showing us what she might look like in the role of Captain Marvel, and it's really cool to see what the possibilities could be.

There's no doubt that Marvel has seen the hype revolving around all this. The question is will they actually consider bringing Rousey into at least read for the role? Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure, Rousey would look great as Captain Marvel and kick some ass.

After seeing this fan art, would you want to see her in the role of Captain Marvel?

Fan Theory Suggests Diego Luna is Playing Biggs Darklighter in ROGUE ONE

0
0

During the Disney live-action film presentation at D23 over the weekend, Lucasfilm released the first photo of the main cast of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story suited up as the characters they play in the film. The cast includes Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Riz Ahmed, Jiang Wen, and Donnie Yen

After the photo was released, fans started to speculate that Luna might be playing Luke Skywalker's friend, Biggs Darklighter. Here's a comparison photo from Twitter.

As you can see, Luna is definitely sporting a similar look as the character in Star Wars, especially with the hair and the mustache. There is a chance that this could be the case! After all, Biggs did join the Rebel Alliance before Luke came along.

There's a rumor that Jones' character has ties to Boba Fett in the story. It makes sense to me that there would be some ties to certain characters from the original trilogy in this film since it takes place before the events of A New Hope. I would love to see Biggs play a part in this storyline that follows these resistance fighters as they embark on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star from the Empire.

This is all pure speculation right now based on the look of the character. Maybe there were a lot of people back then that looked like Biggs. To watch a cool mini-documentary on the character of Biggs Darklighter, click here. What do you think about this speculation? Is it something you hope turns out to be true?

Rogue One hits theaters on December 16th, 2016.

Marc Webb Returns to Indies With GIFTED and THE ONLY LIVING BOY IN NEW YORK

0

After wowing audiences with his feature debut (500) Days of Summer, director Marc Webb was immediately tapped to direct The Amazing Spider-Man and eventually went on to direct a disappointing sequel before the project was rebooted with input from Marvel Studios. It seemed like a good fit at the time, and I'm still convinced Webb is a solid director; he was saddled with some pretty awful scripts and still managed to create a few memorable sequences, largely thanks to the chemistry he was able to capture between his lead actors, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. From what I've seen so far, that's Webb's main strength: depicting relationships on screen. And now it sounds like he's going to take a break from big budget films and go back to his indie roots to do just that.

First up, Webb will direct a movie called Gifted, which, despite the title, does not involve superpowers of any kind. THR says Captain America star Chris Evans will play the lead role in the story of "a man (Evans) who tries to raise the brilliant young daughter of his dead sister but battles with the child's mother over custody." Production on that film gets underway this fall, and Webb already has a follow-up film in place: The Only Living Boy in New York.

That movie has been in the works for years, with Miles Teller taking over for Logan Lerman a little while back. Deadline says discussions are taking place with Jeff Bridges and Rosamund Pike to fill out the story's strange love triangle; the film follows a young man (Teller) who discovers his father (Bridges) is having an affair and when he steps in to try to stop it, he also becomes romantically involved with his father's mistress (Pike).

These small scale stories sound like the perfect antidote to big, made-by-committee studio action films, so hopefully Webb thrives with these two films. I'd like to see him come out of The Amazing Spider-Man movies relatively unscathed.

WOLVERINE 3: Hugh Jackman Teases Berserker Rage and Sabretooth's Return

wolverine-3-hugh-jackman-teases-berserker-rage-and-sabretooths-return

Last week, we learned that Patrick Stewart would have a significant role in Wolverine 3 as Professor X. We now have some new details from Hugh Jackman himself regarding his very last Wolverine movie. During an appearance on the Sydney Confidential podcast, the actor teased a couple things that fans might be interested in hearing. This is one of the conversations that went down, and in it, he teases the possible return of Sabretooth and the appearance of Wolverine's berserker rage.

Sydney Confidential: "When you tweeted about Wolverine 3 the other day, the response was huge!"

Hugh Jackman: "Yeah, unbelievable."

SC: "Give me something about Wolverine, what's happening? You bringing it back to Australia? The story..?"

Jackman: "There were a lot of calls for Victor Creed to come back, there was... I must admit I was quite heartened by a number of people saying please don't make it the last, but I'm really excited about this last one, and if you're a comic book fan, then the words 'berserker rage' came up a lot, so if you know Wolverine, you'll understand."

It would be cool to see Victor Creed/Sabretooth get back in on the action. It would be even better if they got Liev Schreiber to reprise his role. As for the berserker rage, I've been waiting to see Wolverine do that since he was first introduced to the live-action movies. I still don't think we've really, truly seen Jackman go into full-on berserker rage. We've seen it teased in the movies, but he's never gone 100% berserker. That's just my opinion, and we need to see that in this last film!

One other thing I would like to see is Wolverine finally put on his classic costume. I don't think it will happen. But it's still something I hope we get. Wolverine 3 is being directed by James Mangold, and it's set to hit theaters on March 3rd, 2016.

N.W.A.'s STRAIGHT OUTTA COMPTON Music Video Recreated in GRAND THEFT AUTO V

0

Universal's biopic Straight Outta Compton took the number one spot at the box office this past weekend, and deservedly so: it's a great movie with stellar performances, awesome music, and propulsive energy. And even though it's a period piece, its messages about police brutality and racial profiling are sadly still as timely today as they were in the late '80s/early '90s.

Uproxx points us to YouTuber Animal Robot, who has recreated N.W.A.'s "Straight Outta Compton" music video in Grand Theft Auto V. This was a watershed moment for the gangsta rap movement, and though the remake doesn't recreate the original video exactly, the gist is basically the same. (NSFW language ahead, obviously.)

Straight Outta Compton is in theaters now, and it's definitely worth checking out.

Warner Bros. has announced that production has started on the Harry Potter spinoff film Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. This is the start of something big! It's a whole new magical adventure set in the Harry Potter universe.

David Yates is directing the film from a script written by J.K Rowling. The story takes place 70 years before the events of the Harry Potter story. It's set in New York City and is loosely based on a book that J.K. Rowling wrote for charity. The book is a reproduction of a textbook owned by Harry Potter that was mentioned in the first Potter novel. The fictional textbook was written by a fictional magizoologist character named Newt Scamander. (Magizoology is the study of magical creatures.) It's also been said that the Native-American Indian culture will play a role in the story of the film.

Below you'll find the full press released that the studio sent us, with all the detailed information on the production.

Principal photography has begun on Warner Bros. Pictures’ highly anticipated feature “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.”  The all new adventure is set in the wizarding world created by J.K. Rowling in her best-selling Harry Potter books, which were adapted into the highest-grossing film franchise of all time.
Filming started today, August 17, at Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden, under the direction of David Yates, who helmed the last four “Harry Potter” feature films.
Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne (“The Theory of Everything”) stars as Newt Scamander, the wizarding world’s preeminent magizoologist, who stops in New York following his travels to find and document magical creatures.
“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” also stars Katherine Waterston (“Inherent Vice”) as Tina; Alison Sudol (“Dig,” “Transparent”) as Tina’s sister, Queenie; Tony Award winner Dan Fogler (“The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee”) as Jacob; Ezra Miller (“Trainwreck”) as Credence; two-time Oscar nominee Samantha Morton (“In America,” “Sweet and Lowdown”) as Mary Lou; Jenn Murray (“Brooklyn”) as Chastity; young newcomer Faith Wood-Blagrove as Modesty; and Colin Farrell (“True Detective”) as Graves.
Marking the screenwriting debut of J.K. Rowling, the script was inspired by her character Newt Scamander’s Hogwarts textbook, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
The film is being produced by David Heyman, producer of all eight of the blockbuster “Harry Potter” features; J.K. Rowling; Steve Kloves; and Lionel Wigram.
Collaborating with Yates behind the scenes are: Oscar-winning director of photography Philippe Rousselot (“A River Runs Through It,” the “Sherlock Holmes” movies), three-time Oscar-winning production designer Stuart Craig (“The English Patient,” “Dangerous Liaisons,” “Gandhi,” the “Harry Potter” films), three-time Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood (“Chicago,” “Memoirs of a Geisha,” “Alice in Wonderland”), Oscar-winning visual effects supervisor Tim Burke (“Gladiator,” the “Harry Potter” films), Oscar-nominated visual effects supervisor Christian Manz (“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1”), and Yates’ longtime editor Mark Day (the last four “Harry Potter” films).
Warner Bros. Pictures has slated “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” for worldwide release in 3D and IMAX on November 18, 2016.

Dorkly has released a funny animated video that shows us why a Super Smash Bros. and Street Fighter crossover would never work. As you'll see, the characters of the hit video game Smash Bros. have put the fear of God into the characters of Street Fighter. They're just too powerful, and they don't stand a chance. It's just not a fair fight.

UNCHARTED: THE NATHAN DRAKE COLLECTION Makes Me Want To Replay The Entire Trilogy

Uncharted is my favorite video game franchise of all time, so of course the new nostalgia-filled trailer for Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is going to make me want to go back and replay through the first three games in the series before Uncharted 4: A Thief's End arrives next spring.

The original trilogy has been remastered for the PlayStation 4, and while the graphics don't look nearly as amazing as games that were conceived specifically for that console, it's still going to be exciting for fans to be able to play through Nathan Drake's adventures on a next-gen system in preparation for what is supposed to be the final game in the series.

Along with access to the Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta, the collection offers a few new modes for players:

Explorer Mode is an all-new mode for beginners where combat difficulty is reduced greatly.
Speed Run Mode adds a timer that allows players to track their gameplay time against their friends as they play sections of the game.
Brutal Difficulty Mode is the ultimate challenge as the gameplay will be more punishing than Crushing Difficulty (unlocked after beating Crushing Difficulty in the same game)
You can even play all three single-player games in the collection as Doughnut Drake (or any one of over 65 other characters skins) if you’re so inclined. A lot of new polish, hard work and love were put into making this the ultimate Uncharted collection.

Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection will be available in the United States starting on October 9th. Take a look at the new trailer below:
