BrickNerd has created a fun stop-motion DC LEGO animated short film called Batman vs Superman 2: Dawn of Just Desserts. It focuses on what happened after the epic battle between Batman and Superman, and it’s pretty funny to watch how it plays out as Batman is embarrassed about getting his ass handed to him by the Man of Steel.

Annabeth Gish is set to return to her role as FBI Agent Monica Reyes in the upcoming The X-Files event series coming to Fox. It was rumored from the very beginning that she might come back to the series. The one actor I’m waiting for now to return is Robert Patrick as FBI agent John Doggett. That would be pretty damn radical.

Gish joins her former colleagues David Duchovny as Fox Mulder and Gillian Anderson as Dana Scully. The series will continue the adventures of the FBI special agents as they continue to investigate the unexplained cases of the X-Files, for which the only answers involve paranormal phenomena.

Agent Reyes was last seen in The X-Files' series finale after she and Doggett helped Mulder and Scully go on the run.

Other actors who will be back for the series include Mitch Pileggi and William B. Davis. The new guest-stars include Robbie Amell, Lauren Ambrose, Joel McHale, Annet Mahendru, Rhys Darby, and Kumail Nanjiani

The six-episode series debuts with a special two-night event starting on Sunday, January 24th at 10pm ET/7pm PT, and will continue on Monday, January 25th at 8pm.

Supercut of Famous Comedians Dealing with Hecklers

Digg has released a fantastically funny video supercut featuring several famous comedians dealing with hecklers. Stand-up comedy isn’t easy as it is, but to have someone out in the crowd heckling you would make being up on stage even harder. Some comedians deal with hecklers gracefully while other just explode. Either way, most of them come off as being funny.

Don’t be that guy who ruins a show. And while we’re giving out etiquette lessons, stop talking in movies, flailing around your iPad at concerts and generally ruining other people’s good time.

STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT: Details on "Supremacy" Mode and New Image

EA and DICE have released a new image from Star Wars Battlefront with Darth Vader leading the charge on Endor. They've also revealed information on a new mode for the game called "Supremacy."

The more I learn about this game, the more excited I get, and I've already played it! They just keep announcing more and more additions to the game that raise its level of badassery.

The "Supremacy" mode gives players the objective of holding down five control points that are scattered across the map. The game starts out with each team controlling two points, and the round lasts 10 minutes long. EA's press release offers all of the details you need to know about "Supremacy," and you can ready through them below:

The multiplayer modes of Star Wars™ Battlefront™ span many different types of experiences. From close-quarter battle situations to all-out clashes on huge maps with ground troops, vehicles, Heroes and Villains joining the fight, you’ll find the Supremacy mode in the latter category.
Supremacy centers on five control points scattered across the map. The objective is gaining control of all five, or the majority of them, before the 10 minute round is over. Each team starts the match controlling two of these control points, initially fighting for control of the fifth one in the center. After this is determined, the control points need to be claimed in a set order. This means the action will be taking place on two control points at a time – one for each team.
An intense mode for players that know their way around the battlefront, Supremacy is ideal for those craving all-out multiplayer action. According to Lead Level Designer Dennis Brännvall, this action will be both immediate and intense.
“When you spawn into Supremacy, you don’t have to move far to see a lot of friends – and enemies. You’re thrown into a massive frontline, where your screen is filled with adversaries: infantry, Heroes, Walkers, and starfighters. You can prepare for very heavy and focused Star Wars™ action,” Brännvall says.
If you’re the defending type, Supremacy will guarantee many enemies assaulting your control point. If you’re an attacking player, you'll surely find them trying to defend their control point from capture, ensuring constant frontline action.
Almost all vehicles in Star Wars Battlefront will take part in the fight, so keep an eye on the sky for TIE fighters and X-wings soaring through the sky to assist the quest for supremacy at each location. Heroes and Villains will also join the fight, and their unique abilities will help both sides in different ways.
“Using a character like Darth Vader to secure control points is great, as he can take increased damage before going down. Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett are great for moving swiftly between attacking and defensive positions, and giving you the edge against opponents in battle,” Brännvall explains.
As for map size, Supremacy will offer the largest fighting grounds that Star Wars Battlefront has to offer; the vast maps, alongside the ability to capture key areas, may seem similar to DICE game fans.  Brännvall, as member of the Battlefield team, can confirm the similarities between Supremacy and the signature mode from the game, Conquest.
“Supremacy is a game mode that will excite fans of the Conquest mode from Battlefield. That said, we’ve made several tweaks to improve the formula. You will always spawn close to the action when you enter Supremacy, so you’ll never feel isolated from the fight. By focusing on one key point at a time, players not playing the objective and camping on a hill somewhere will be a rare sight.”
With the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire clashing, the vehicular action around you, and iconic Star Wars characters joining the fight, Supremacy is a multiplayer mode that will deliver exhilarating battles for players. Brännvall tells about his personal favorite:
“I really like Supremacy on Endor. With all the battles on ground and among the trees, the fights are always intense and fun. An Ewok village is the central point, and there are many different ways of getting into those huts. That kind of verticality is really interesting,” Brännvall says.
This is one of many favorite aspects our developers have from the epic Supremacy mode. Which one will be yours?

Disney Animation MOANA Panel With Dwayne Johnson and Te Vaka at D23 Expo

The Disney Animation film Moana had a very entertaining panel at the D23 expo. The panel started with an introduction to the film by directors John Musker and Ron Clements (The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, The Princess and the Frog), and producer Osnat Shurer. Set 2000 years ago in the South Pacific, the movie's title character, Moana, is the teenage daughter of chief Tui. 1000 years ago her people were great navigators of the sea. After the death of her mother, Moana defies her father and travels beyond the safety the reef to find out why her people stopped navigating the ocean. Along the way she meets demigod Maui, voiced by Dwayne Johnson.

The animation tests of Maui and his gigantic fishhook and animated tattoos, a vengeful lava land spirit, and friendly living ocean are truly magical — it's the kind of thing that could only work in animation. Filmmakers approached the story very humbly, getting lots of consultation from the Polynesian community to really present their culture properly.

Johnson exuberantly spoke about how excited he was to be part of the film production and how honored he is to be playing Maui. He then got the room of 7,500 attendees to give a proper Samoan welcome to Opetaia Foa’i and the band Te Vaka, who gave a beautiful live performance of a song in the movie.

Of everything I saw today during the three hour long Disney Animation panel, Moana is the movie I'm most excited for because of its sweeping story. Moana journeys into theaters November 23rd, 2016 (USA).

Pixar's FINDING DORY: New Image, Casting, Character Details, and Story Info

The presentation for Pixar's Finding Nemo sequel, Finding Dory, was a huge hit at D23 Expo. It might have been the animated film project that fans were most excited about. When Ellen DeGeneres showed up to talk about the movie she got a cheering standing ovation from the audience.

During the panel, it was also announced that Ed O'Neill (Modern Family) would voice an octopus named Hank; Ty Burrell (Modern Family) is taking on the role of a beluga whale named Bailey; and Kaitlin Olson (Always Sunny in Philadelphia) will play a character named Destiny. These actors will join Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy as Dory's mom and dad, and Albert Brooks, who is reprising his role as Marlin.

When talking about the film, director Andrew Stanton thought the story was a “closed circuit,” but then he started thinking about Dory's short-term memory problems and that led to his idea for the sequel. He explained:

“I wanted to know that if this charming forgetful fish ever got lost again, that she would be okay, that she would find her way home. And at the end of Finding Nemo, I wasn’t confident about that. So that’s when I knew I had another story.”

The story follows Dory as she embarks on a journey to find her mom and dad. This leads her to an ocean sanctuary facility where wounded animals are treated before they are re-released into the wild. It's here that she meets lots of new characters like O'Neill's octopus, who is missing a leg, and Burrell's character, who thinks he has suffered a head injury because of the big bump on his head that is supposed to be there.

The studio went on to screen a couple of great clips from the film, and there's no doubt that this is going to be at least as good as the first movie.

The first clip focused on having trouble remembering something very important. She quite can't figure it out, and Marlin (Brooks) tells her to sleep on it and they can talk about it in the morning. While she is sleeping on it, she starts to talk in her sleep saying, “Don’t cry, Mommy, don’t cry. Oh no…” Nemo wakes up to find her sleep-swimming, as she is swimming against a piece of coral she is saying, “The jewel of Monterey, California.” Nemo and his father sleep with her the rest of the night to make sure she doesn't get away. When Dory wakes up in the morning she says, “I don’t remember what I remembered, but I remembered that I remembered something.”

Nemo tells his dad, “Dory’s instincts are telling her to go home,” and as she stares into the vast ocean, she remembers what is so important and exclaims, “My Mom, my Dad. I have a family. They don’t know where I am!” It's from there that she embarks on a journey to Monterey, California, which is way across the ocean. Of course, Marlin doesn't like the idea of leaving and at first tries to talk her out of it. Dory tells him, “All I know is that I miss them. I really, really miss them. Do you know what that feels like?” Of course, he does! So Marlin gives in and agrees to help her. Nemo asks, “Dad, you can get us all the way across the ocean, right?” Marlin replies, “No, but I know a guy.”

The second clip features a scene between DOry and O'Neill's octopus Hank, which is pictured above. Dory is accidentally picked up by workers at the ocean sanctuary facility. She’s then tagged by workers, and Hank sneakily works his way across the room to her using his camouflage skills. He explains to Dory that the reason she has been tagged was because she was going to be transported to an aquarium in Cleveland. Hank wants the tag because he wants to take her place on the transport. He makes it very clear that he does not want to be released back into the ocean. There's a lot of fun banter between the two characters, but in the end he is going to help her find her parents, and in return she is going to give him her tag.

If you're a fan of Finding Nemo, you're going to love what they are doing with Finding Dory. It looks like it's going to be a great sequel!

Ellen DeGeneres (“The Ellen DeGeneres Show”), the voice of everyone’s favorite forgetful blue tang, took a dip with D23 EXPO attendees this afternoon, celebrating Disney·Pixar’s upcoming film “Finding Dory.” Joining DeGeneres on stage this afternoon were Ed O’Neill (“Modern Family”), who lends his voice to Hank, a cantankerous octopus; Ty Burrell (“Modern Family”), the voice of Bailey, a misguided beluga whale; and Kaitlin Olson (“Always Sunny in Philadelphia”), who voices Destiny, a kind-hearted whale shark. Oscar®-winning director Andrew Stanton (“Finding Nemo,” “WALL•E”), co-director Angus MacLane and producer Lindsey Collins (co-producer “ WALL•E”) offered new details of the all-new story, which reunites Dory with friends Nemo and Marlin on a search for answers about her past. What can she remember? Who are her parents? And where did she learn to speak Whale? Also featuring the voices of Albert Brooks, Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy.

Finding Dory swims into theaters June 17th, 2016.

Pixar Introduces Sam Elliott and His T-Rex Cowboys in THE GOOD DINOSAUR

Friday afternoon at the D23 Main Stage Disney and Pixar announced that Sam Elliott, Anna Paquin, and A.J. Buckley play a family of Tyrannosaurus Rex in the upcoming animated feature The Good Dinosaur. The T-Rex family is following a herd of long-horn cattle through what looks like the famous Monument Valley on the Utah-Arizona border that has been used in just about every famous Western film. The imagery of them being cowboys goes beyond the obvious of Elliott voicing the leader of the pack. The way they talk, and even the way they are animated, is reminiscent of old Western stars riding horses across scenic deserts.

I was already excited about The Good Dinosaur, especially since my nephew is WAY into dinosaurs and I was excited to be the cool uncle and take him to a Disney movie I knew he'd like. Now that I've seen a couple of exclusive clips here at the D23 Expo, I know I'm going to have to pack some tissues too, since the five minutes I saw of the film got me all kinds of choked up. This is going to be another homerun from the Pixar guys. The Good Dinosaur hits theaters on November 25th.

Pixar Reveals Title and Details of Their Day of the Dead Film COCO

During their D23 Expo animated film program, Disney and Pixar announced that the title of their Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) film will be Coco. The film is named after one of the main characters.

The story follows a 12-year-old boy named Miguel who sets off a chain of events relating to a century-old mystery. Director Lee Unkrich was inspired to make the film from the question,  “What if you could meet your long dead family members?” This is the brief plot description:

Coco is the celebration of a lifetime, where the discovery of a generations-old mystery leads to a most extraordinary and surprising family reunion.”

Unkrich explained how he was fascinated by the holiday honoring the dead. For research, he traveled to different parts of Mexico to get a better idea of how the holiday was celebrated, and he spent time with many families who shared the traditions of the holiday with him. I'm sure you've all seen that its celebrated with beautiful and colorful macabre folk art. Unkrich said he was mesmerized by the “juxtaposition of skeletons with bright festive colors.”

The film was described as having a breathtaking, beautiful, fun, and emotional story. The audience was then shown a diorama pitch clip that gave us an idea of the kind of imagery and tone that we will see in the film.

It featured a wonderfully colorful Mexican town populated by happy, playful skeletons. They are wearing incredibly detailed dresses and other types of clothing. The skeletons are celebrating, dancing, and playing mariachi instruments. They even use their bones as instruments. At the end, we are introduced to the main boy character when his skull mask falls off while he is playing the guitar in a skeleton band.

There aren't many other details about the film at this time, but it looks like it's going to be a fun movie.

It's Official: Colin Trevorrow Directing STAR WARS: EPISODE IX

Over a month ago, just before Comic-Con, Umberto Gonzalez at Heroic Hollywood reported that Colin Trevorrow had been tapped by Lucasfilm to direct Star Wars: Episode IX. Today, during the D23 Expo, Walt Disney Studios Chairman Alan Horn announced that Trevorrow would ineed be directing the third film in the new trilogy.

After Jurassic World became the third highest grossing film of all time, Trevorrow has become a very hot director. I very much enjoyed Jurassic World and thought is was well directed. With Rian Johnson writing the scripts for Episodes VIII and IX, this seems like a winning combo.

I'm very excited for the movies but kind of wish they were spaced out more to give the filmmakers more time. Star Wars: Episode IX will close out the newest trilogy in 2019.

THE JUNGLE BOOK is Going to Make You Feel Like a Kid Again

Today at D23's Main Stage Jon Favreau came out to much applause and introduced us to the cast of his reimagining of Disney's The Jungle Book. Sir Ben Kingsley (Bagheera) and Lupita Nyong’o (Raksha) raved about young newcomer Neel Sethi playing the beloved Mowgli. Favreau and his cast went into detail on the process of combining live-action acting and bleeding edge CG tech to bring their story to life, calling back to Walt Disney's love of art combined with evolving technology. Favreau informed the audience that Sethi had to record his part in the film twice, once as performance capture and again as live action, which spoke very highly of the young actor. They then revealed the first poster for the film which we all got to walk out with a copy of.

Then, after showing off the poster we got a breathtaking look at the first ever footage from the film. It was so fresh off the presses that not even the people who had lent their talents to breathe life into the characters had seen it yet. So Kingsley, Nyong'o, and Sethi stepped down off stage with Faverau and together we all watched our childhood explode into color on screen. I felt a knot ball up in my throat and a tear come to my eye as I saw Mowgli come face-to-face with friends I hadn't seen in ages. We got to see Sir Ben Kingsley give courage and wisdom to young Mowgli. And, best of all, we got to see a beautifully realistic animated Baloo sing to us about the Bare Necessities in life through the voice of Bill Murray. I legitimately felt a manly tear roll down my cheek when the song hit its peak. The unofficial trailer ended with a quick glimpse of Christopher Walken as the great orangutan King Louie. I've seen the previous Disney classic live-action movies, but this is the first one I am INSANELY stoked for. After the video played, Faverau pulled the cast back on stage and asked the young Neel Sethi what he thought. Beaming from ear to ear he said, "That was me?!" It was great seeing the wonder in his eyes as he saw his character really come to life.

During the big Star Wars presentation at Disney's D23 Expo, Lucasfilm gave us our first official photo from Star Wars: Rogue One, which features the main group of characters that the story revolves around. These are the resistance fighters who have united to steal plans to the devastating Death Star. The actors in the image include Felicity JonesDiego LunaRiz AhmedJiang Wen, and Donnie Yen.

I absolutely love the look of these characters and the vibe of the photo. This is a badass, ragtag group, who look like they are going to raise some hell against the Empire!

Kathleen Kennedy talked a little bit about the story saying:

Rogue One takes place before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope and will be a departure from the saga films but have elements that are familiar to the Star Wars universe. It goes into new territory, exploring the galactic struggle from a ground-war perspective while maintaining that essential Star Wars feel that fans have come to know. Gareth is such an innovative director and I’m so excited to be working with him and the extraordinary ensemble cast he’s selected for Rogue One."

Director Gareth Edwards (Godzilla) is hard at work shooting the film. They showed a brief video message from the director saying that he had just shot the first scene. He didn't say much, but you could tell he was incredibly excited to be shooting this movie. We actually have some photos from the set of the film that you can see here.

In the press release the studio sent out, we also learn that Alan Tudyk has joined the cast as a performance-capture character. Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royal) has also joined the cast. The more I learn about this movie, the more excited I get!

The filmmakers have assembled a stellar cast, including Felicity Jones, nominated for an Academy Award® for her leading role in “The Theory of Everything”; Diego Luna, who was featured in 2008’s Oscar®-winning “Milk” and the critically acclaimed “Killing Them Softly”; Ben Mendelsohn, recently nominated for an Emmy® for his leading role in “Bloodline” and co-starring  in the upcoming “Mississippi Grind”; Donnie Yen, Hong Kong action star and martial artist who starred in “Ip Man” and “Blade II”; Jiang Wen, who co-wrote, produced , directed and starred in the award-winning “Let the Bullets Fly” and “Devils on the Doorstep”; Forest Whitaker, recently featured in the critically-acclaimed Lee Daniels’ “The Butler” and winner of an Academy Award® for his leading role in 2006’s “The Last King of Scotland; Mads Mikkelsen, who starred in “The Hunt” and was the memorable villain from 2006’s “Casino Royale”;  Alan Tudyk, who plays a performance-capture character in “Rogue One,” stars in the soon-to-be-released “Con Man” series and “Trumbo,” which releases this November; and Riz Ahmed, who was recently featured in “Nightcrawler” and starred in the BAFTA-winning film “Four Lions.”
Veteran ILM visual effects supervisor John Knoll, who shares a long history with the Star Wars movies, dating back to the mid-1990s, originated the idea for the movie. Allison Shearmur (“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” “Cinderella”), John Knoll, Simon Emanuel (“The Dark Knight Rises,” “Fast & Furious 6”) and Jason McGatlin (“Tintin,” “War of the Worlds”) are executive producers. Kiri Hart and John Swartz (“Star Wars: The Force Awakens”) are co-producers.
To create the lived-in, realistic feel of “Rogue One,” Edwards chose Greig Fraser (“Zero Dark Thirty,” “Foxcatcher”) to be his director of photography and Neil Corbould (“Black Hawk Down,” “Gladiator,” “Saving Private Ryan”) to be his special effects supervisor.  Star Wars and Lucasfilm veteran Doug Chiang (“Star Wars: Episodes I-II,” “Forrest Gump”) and Neil Lamont (supervising art director for the “Harry Potter” series, “Edge of Tomorrow”) will be the production designers. Additional crew members will include stunt coordinator Rob Inch (“World War Z,” Marvel’s “Captain America: The First Avenger”), creature effects supervisor Neal Scanlan (“Prometheus”) and co-costume designers Dave Crossman (costume supervisor for the “Harry Potter” series, “Saving Private Ryan”) and Glyn Dillon (costume concept artist for “Kingsman: The Secret Service,” “Jupiter Ascending”).

The movie is slated to be released on December 16th, 2016.

We have a list here from DangerDolan that ranks the fifteen dumbest video games ever made. There are a few games on the list that I’ve never heard of before and some that I’ve actually played. But one thing I think we can all agree on is that every game listed looks utterly awful.

“From revolting reboots to pathetic attempts at innovation, we count 15 of the worst video games of all time.”

I thought for sure the E.T. game would take the number one spot on the list, but that’s not the case at all. There’s a game that they feel is even worse!

The CW is Developing a Series Based on THE NOTEBOOK

I don’t like a lot of romance films, but The Notebook with Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams was pretty fantastic. The movie was based on the Nicholas Sparks love story, and now it’s headed to The CW as a TV series.

The news comes from Variety, who reports that the series will follow “the romantic journey of young, conflicted couple Noah and Allie at the outset of their blossoming relationship as they build their lives and their future together against the backdrop of racial politics, economic inequities and social mores of the late 1940s in North Carolina.”

The show is in the early stages of development, but there is a script in place and the plot they’ve come up with for the story is original.

This is the complete opposite of the recently announced Friday the 13th series for the network. They obviously like to have a lot of genre diversity with their content. They’ve been playing in a sandbox full of superheroes, romance, drama, comedy, supernatural, and horror.

We’ve got a fun and crazy cosplay music video from Nerd Reactor that was shot at ScareLA 2015 last weekend. There are a lot of great horror themed costumes featured in the video, some of which are very cool and awesomely creepy. It ends with tribute to Michael Jackson's "Thriller."

In addition, IGN attended Gamescom 2015 last week, and while there they made sure to get some video footage of some of the cosplay that they saw. So just in case you weren’t able to attend the con this year, at least you can see some of the cosplay without having to buy a ticket!

The first trailer has been released for the film Life, a James Dean biopic that stars Dane DeHaan as Dean and Robert Pattinson as a Life magazine photographer named Dennis Stock.

The two individuals go on a road trip from Los Angeles to New York just as the actor is starting to become a star. As they spend time together they develop a friendship and rediscover themselves.

Anton Corbijn’s follow-up to A Most Wanted Man, LIFE captures the nuances and complexities of the relationship between photographer and subject in a way rarely seen or understood by someone outside the business. In a nod to Corbijn’s own past experience, the film is told from the perspective of the Life photographer Dennis Stock (played by Pattinson) who meets and profiles Dean (DeHaan) for the magazine, turning out some of Dean’s most iconic photographs.

The movie also stars Ben Kingsley and Joel Edgerton. It will eventually be released U.S., but no date has been set yet.

Jarren Harkema and Calvin Hartley are such big fans of LEGO and Star Wars that they decided to build a massive custom made 3 foot long, 28 pound, 10,000-LEGO brick replica of the Sandcrawler from Star Wars: Episode IV. They spent 500 hours creating this behemoth vehicle, and they revealed it at Chicago’s Brickworld LEGO convention. There it was nominated for “Best Mechanical Creation.”

While talking to Michigan Live, Harkema said:

The idea for the Sandcrawler was born in Hartley’s basement “that is “literally devoted to Lego” with tables, plastic tubs and an entire wall with drawers full of building elements. They chose the Sandcrawler because it provided a lot of interesting challenges when it came to the mechanics. The original building team started out with five, but gradually “whittled itself down to just the two of them.”

You can watch their Sandcrawler LEGO build in action in the video below.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR Footage and DOCTOR STRANGE Concept Art Descriptions

Walt Disney Studios and Marvel Studios unleashed the fury of Captain America: Civil War and Doctor Strange at the D23 Expo this weekend. I was really hoping to see stuff from both of these movies, and thankfully, the audience saw some teaser footage that was freakin’ incredible! We got to see some awesome footage from Civil War and a concept art reel from Doctor Strange.

Captain America: Civil War Footage Description:

The Civil War footage starts out with Captain America and Black Widow scoping out a crowded marketplace in what looks to be a third world country. Falcon is overlooking the situation from a building within the vicinity. He sends out his Red Wing drone, to do a little recon work. “Red Wing activate!” Falcon says, and the drone flies under a truck to scan it. It finds that there’s something built into the truck, and Black Widow exclaims, “It’s a battering ram.”

Cap and Falcon leap off the buildings they are on and run into action, kicking some ass. The shit hits the fan, and Black Widow runs through the marketplace going into badass martial arts action mode. She pulls off some pretty radical movies that we’ve never seen before. Then Crossbones steps out of the back of the truck and into the fight. He and Cap get into it hard. Crossbones is kind of pissed off about what Cap did to him in The Winter Solider. Cap gets the best of him though, rips off his mask, and he’s surprised to see who’s under it. Crossbones then says, “You know, he remembered you. Your pal, your buddy, your Bucky.” Cap looks incredibly confused by this comment.

Then General Ross’ voice cuts in, saying, "The world owes you an unpayable debt. A lot of great and many people see you as a hero. There are some who prefer the word vigilante. People are afraid."

The footage then cuts to a scene with Bucky, Captain America, and Falcon. It’s part of the scene that we saw in the post-credits of Ant-Man. Cap asks Bucky if he knows who he is, and Bucky says yes. We are then treated with a quick shot of Vision, who is dressed in a tuxedo type suit sitting by a chess board. There’s then a shot of a funeral, and the coffin has a Union Jack on it.

We then get a look at Tony Stark, who looks at Cap and says, “Sometimes I want to punch you in your perfect teeth.” This is the start of a lot of tension that starts to build. “Without boundaries,” Stark says, “We’re no better than the bad guys.” That’s followed by another line from General Ross, who says, “So far nothing has happened that can’t be undone.”

Stark then says,“We have no boundaries, we’re no better than the bad guys.” Cap responds with, “Is that how you see protection?” There are a bunch of quick cuts, including our first look at Black Panther and Martin Freeman in a room filled with monitors and more. Unfortunately, Spider-Man isn’t shown. Someone asks Cap, “What do we do?” and he responds with, “We fight.”

The footage cuts to War Machine and Iron Man teaming up, and then there’s a shot of Cap’s team coming together. That team includes Falcon and Scarlet Witch, among others. It’s made to look like they run into battle with each other. Then there’s a scene where Hawkeye is fighting Black Widow! She asks, “We’re still friends, right?” To which Hawkeye replies, “It depends on how hard you hit me!”

The footage concludes with a scene set in a parking garage. Falcon opens up the door of a van to reveal Scott Lang is inside, asleep. He jumps up and is incredibly excited to see Steve Rogers standing in front of him. He immediately starts shaking his hand and won’t stop. “I’m shaking your hand too long.” He then turns to Scarlett Witch and says, “I know you, too” unable to take his eyes off Cap, “You’re great,” Lang says. “I know you know a lot of super people, so thinks for thanking of me! I mean, thanks for thinking of me!” End footage.

Doctor Strange Concept Art Reel Description:

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige also talked a little bit about director Scott Derrickson’s Doctor Strange, and he introduced a video message from star Benedict Cumberbatch teasing “girls, cars, explosions, and a bit of astral projecting into multiple dimensions.” The movie hasn’t even started shooting yet, so there was no footage to show, but the did show off a cool sizzle reel video featuring some epic-looking concept art from the movie.

Doctor Strange is going to be unlike anything we’ve seen Marvel do before. The different dimensions that Strange will travel to makes sure of that. Strange has been monitored by S.H.I.E.L.D., and we see him go through several different costume looks. Those include his traditional outfit, complete with his cape, and he even sports the gray hair at his temples.

We got so see visuals of the car crash and his journey as he searches for the Ancient One. There was a lot of crazy cool astral plane art with a very magical and cosmic vibe. The collection of art was packed with planets and colorful lights. We see a city in which cars are suspended in air. Some of the art shows the city looking twisted and distorted, and it seems to turn in on itself. The last shot of the test footage was actually a piece of CG animated footage of Strange delivering a badass blast of light.

Captain America: Civil War will be released in theaters on May 6th, 2016. Doctor Strange will follow on November 4th, 2016.

Drew Struzan STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS Poster Revealed at D23

At D23 this Saturday during the Live Action Panel on the Main Stage, J.J. Abrams revealed a great, classic-looking Drew Struzan poster for Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Struzan has created posters for every previous entry in the Star Wars saga, and this one harkens back to those original pieces. My one complaint, and I may face some flack for this, is the Han Solo in the bottom left corner of the poster. I love the scruffy lookin' nerf herder as much as the next kid at the Toshi Station, but his image on the poster just feels weirdly shoe-horned in. The dark stroke around his outline doesn't help make it any better. I would have loved to see two posters revealed: one with the new characters and another with the legacy characters. But who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth? This poster is still undeniably rad! I also want to point out that the lightsaber held by Finn looks like the same lightsaber given to Luke Skywalker by Obi-Wan Kenobi in A New Hope, which previously belonged to Anakin.

The latest extended spot for Supergirl features a good amount of high-flying action. Earlier this week the producers developing the project revealed three DC characters that will make an appearance in the series and talked about how the show was inspired by the Superman films that Richard Donner made.

Hopefully, the series lives up to those expectations and delivers a something that fans will be happy to get hooked on. The pilot episode has been getting mixed reviews, but there’s always the chance that it will grow into something great.

The series is set to premiere on October 26th.

SUPERGIRL is an action-adventure drama based on the DC Comics character Kara Zor-El (Melissa Benoist), Superman’s (Kal-El) cousin who, after 12 years of keeping her powers a secret on Earth, decides to finally embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be. Twelve-year-old Kara escaped the doomed planet Krypton with her parents’ help at the same time as the infant Kal-El. Protected and raised on Earth by her foster family, the Danvers, Kara grew up in the shadow of her foster sister, Alex (Chyler Leigh), and learned to conceal the phenomenal powers she shares with her famous cousin in order to keep her identity a secret.
Years later at 24, Kara lives in National City assisting media mogul and fierce taskmaster Cat Grant (Golden Globe Award winner Calista Flockhart), who just hired the Daily Planet’s former photographer, James Olsen (Mehcad Brooks), as her new art director. However, Kara’s days of keeping her talents a secret are over when Hank Henshaw (David Harewood), head of a super-secret agency where her sister also works, enlists her to help them protect the citizens of National City from sinister threats. Though Kara will need to find a way to manage her newfound empowerment with her very human relationships, her heart soars as she takes to the skies as Supergirl to fight crime.

This last video includes Johnny Depp coming out on stage as none other than Captain Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. As you can see, he gets a little carried away with the character. Then there's J.J. Abrams, who bring out several members of the cast of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, including John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Lupita Nyong’o, Oscar Isaac, and of course, it wouldn't be complete without Harrison Ford!

Thanks to Comingsoon for the video embeds!
