Don’t fret though, non GTA lovers, because we’ve got you covered with a bit of Foul Play, a tense game of Knock Knock, and a touch of survival with Lone Survivor. We also welcome Mitch Gitelman from Harebrained Schemes, maker of Shadow Run Returns, on the show to talk about their new Kickstarter for Golem Arcana. We round out the show with some adorable game-inspired art by Joey Spiotto, some awesome Big Barda and Wonder Woman cosplay by Golden Lasso Cosplay and Rileah with photos by Cesar Vivid Photography, and a look at video game tech support by GamesRadar. This is our first look at actor Brady Bluhm as the blind guy Billy in apartment 4C. This is the actor who played the kid back in 1994. I think it's great they are bringing the character back. I imagine his role in the sequel won't be any bigger than what he did in the first movie, but it's funny that he's still around.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Premium Rush was a really entertaining movie to watch. It was basically a live action Looney Tunes cartoon. That's one of the main reasons why I liked it so much. Of course the movie wasn't without its problems, and you can leave it up to Cinema Sins to point them all out.

The premiere date for American Horror Story: Coven is fast approaching, and here are three new eerie promo teasers and the opening credit sequence for the series to get you in the mood. The horror series will air on FX on October 9th at 10:00 p.m. This is one of my most anticipated shows of fall. Between this and The Walking Dead I'll be a happy man. 

"Coven" features an ensemble cast that includes Oscar, Emmy and Golden Globe award winners Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates; Golden Globe Award winner and Academy Award nominated Angela Bassett; Emmy Award nominated Sarah Paulson; Golden Globe Award winner and Emmy nominated Frances Conroy; Oscar and Golden Globe award nominated Gabourey Sidibe; Emmy Award nominated Denis O’Hare; Emmy Award nominated Patti LuPone; Evan Peters; Taissa Farmiga; Lily Rabe; and Emma Roberts.

"Coven" tells the secret history of witches and witchcraft in America. Over 300 years have passed since the turbulent days of the Salem witch trials and those who managed to escape are now facing extinction. Mysterious attacks have been escalating against their kind and young girls are being sent away to a special school in New Orleans to learn how to protect themselves. Wrapped up in the turmoil is new arrival, Zoe (Farmiga), who is harboring a terrifying secret of her own. Alarmed by the recent aggression, Fiona (Lange), the long-absent Supreme, sweeps back into town, determined to protect the Coven and hell-bent on decimating anyone who gets in her way.

I'm not sure how I missed this one, but this is an Honest Trailer for the hit TV series Breaking Bad. It basically points out how awesome the series actually is. We've only got one episode left, and I can't wait to see how it ends! 

With the announcement of Nosgoth yesterday, the Legacy of Kain and Soul Reaver universe is getting a great deal of newfound attention. Rightfully so by the way, since those games have generally been quite good. While Square Enix's free to play competitive multiplayer game isn't the revival some were hoping for, gamers will always have those classic titles to look back fondly on, and in honor of that here is a sleek depiction of Raziel, the main star of the Soul Reaver family of titles. The slick (slightly Joe Mad-esque) pencils are by thekidKaos (known as Pedro Delgado), and the amazing colors were done by BoOoM (aka Nicolas Chapuis). Disney new animated film Frozen looks like it's going to be another great movie that fans will enjoy. This new full trailer gives us our best look yet at the movie and the story it will tell. I saw a good amount of footage from the movie at the D23 Expo earlier this year, and I enjoyed everything I saw. Everyone's favorite character in the movie is most likely going to be the little snow man Olaf voiced by Josh Gad. He's a great and funny character. You'll get a little taste of that comedy in this trailer. The movie also stars Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, and Idina Menzel, who sings a great, classic-sounding Disney song in the film. Here's the synopsis,

When a prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter, Anna ( Bell), a fearless optimist, teams up with extreme mountain man Kristoff (Groff) and his sidekick reindeer Sven on an epic journey to find Anna's sister Elsa (Idina Menzel), the Snow Queen, and put an end to her icy spell. Encountering mystical trolls, an amazing and comedic snowman named Olaf, Everest-like conditions and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction.

The movie is set to be released on November 27th, and it's one I'm excited about taking my kids to see. Enjoy the trailer!

There's really no story to this short. It's basically just a badass, creative martial arts fight sequence. It's called "Wake Up Juice," and it features a clown, a pizza guy, and a flower girl who walk into a hotel to kill someone. This thing is really over-the-top and ultra violent, which is why I enjoyed it so much! The short was made by Blair Kelly and Tylor Bohlman, with action design by The Stunt People. I know you'll all enjoy this craziness! 

Machinima has released all ten episodes of director Kevin Tancharoen's highly anticipated Mortal Kombat: Legacy II, and holy shit! It's awesome! If you enjoyed the first part of this web-series you're going to absolutely love the sequel because it's even better! This time around they had more money to work with and the support of the studio. It's amazing what they have been able to accomplish, and I'm so excited to see what these guys actually end up bringing to the feature film they are developing. 

I've included all of the episodes below, along with a short description of each one. I hope you enjoy the second season! I already can't wait to see more Mortal Kombat awesomeness!

Down and out Liu Kang gets into a drunken fight in a seedy Macau bar with the local gangsters. Liu Kang is not happy when Kung Lao comes to his rescue and the two have a tumultuous reunion.

We flash back to what has brought Liu Kang to such a low point in his life... we watch as his fiancée is murdered before his eyes. Back in the present, we watch as Kung Lao leaves his Macao monastery and approaches the portal to the Mortal Kombat tournament.

We watch as the Earthrealm and Outworld warriors appear at the Mortal Kombat tournament island. Raiden greets the Earthrealm warriors. We also flashback to feudal Japan for the beginning of Kenshi's origin story.

We continue with Kenshi's origin story in feudal Japan and watch as he is blinded in his first fight with Ermac. In the present, blind Kenshi battles Ermac in the tournament, finally defeating him.

We flash back to Kitana and Mileena getting their orders to enter the tournament... Kitana is uneasy about the truth of her past. She flashes back to a moment in Season 1 where she mistakenly murders her biological father. In the present, the sisters argue as they track Johnny Cage through the forest. They surprise him and chase him down.

We flash back to how Johnny Cage was recruited to the tournament by Raiden... as he sits in a jail cell. In the present, we watch as Johnny fights for his life against Mileena and Kitana. He is only able to escape when the sisters turn on one another.

Flashback to feudal Japan, where Scorpion, his wife and his son are waylaid on the road by Sub Zero's angry younger brother. Scorpion is forced to kill him to protect his family. In the aftermath, Scorpion and Sub Zero attempt to renew a childhood friendship and form a truce between their warring clans.

We flash back to feudal Japan and reference the moments in Season 1 where Scorpion's family is seemingly murdered by Sub Zero and his clan. In the present, Scorpion searches the tournament field for Sub Zero and exacts his revenge.

Flashback to the weeks before Liu Kang is recruited into the tournament. We see that Liu Kang has become a hitman as he murders Russian mobsters in a seedy motel. After the job is done, Liu Kang is visited by Shang Tsung, who recruits him to join the tournament... however this time, he'll fight on the darkside of the Outworld warriors.

In the present, Stryker treats Johnny Cage's wounds when Liu Kang comes upon them and fights them both. Kung Lao appears, shocked that his old friend is here and that he is fighting with the warriors of Outworld.

In the highly anticipated second season, the saga continues as Liu Kang and Ermac join the ranks of fighters introduced in the series’ first season, including Kenshi, Kung Lao, Kuai Liang, Stryker, Kitana, Mileena, Johnny Cage, Scorpion and Sub- Zero. This new season uncovers the rivalries and histories of these fierce warriors as Raiden and his recruits clash against the dark forces of Outworld. Chronicling the tournament and the interweaving storylines of the most beloved Kombatants, fans will also learn of the complex relationship between Liu Kang and Kung Lao and revisit the complicated family dynamic of Kitana and Mileena. The epic battle for EarthRealm has finally begun!

Tancharoen (“Mortal Kombat: Legacy”) returns as director and co-writer of “Mortal Kombat: Legacy II” alongside writers Josh Baizer and Marshall Johnson (“Dead Loss”). The cast includes Harry Shum, Jr. ("Glee") as the warlord adviser "Kuai Liang," Casper Van Dien ("Starship Troopers") as martial arts film actor "Johnny Cage," Brian Tee ("The Wolverine") as Shaolin Monk "Liu Kang," and Mark Dacascos ("Cradle 2 the Grave ") as "Kung Lao" - a close friend of "Liu Kang." Additionally, Ian Anthony Dale (“Hawaii Five-O”) returns as the resurrected ninja “Scorpion,” and Cary Tagawa reprises the role he made famous in the "Mortal Kombat" theatrical release as the powerful, arrogant sorcerer "Shang Tsung." “Mortal Kombat: Legacy II” is produced by Lance Sloane (“Act of Valor”) and Tancharoen.

Michael Bay has released this new photo from the set of Transformers: Age of Extinction. The image appropriately features director Michael Bay shooting something exploding.

It's got to be really fun being on the set of a Michael Bay film, I imagine things never get boring. The movie stars Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci,  Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, T.J. Miller, Peter Cullen, and Li Bingbing.

The movie hits theaters on June 27th, 2014.

Konami has released the first nine minutes of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain featuring Kiefer Sutherland as Snake. The scene gives us the introduction mission called Ground Zeroes. The game is still under development, but it looks really great! 

It's set to be available on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, but as of right now there is no release date. 

As you know, Joss Whedon is currently in the process developing Avengers: Age of Ultron, and with a track record like his, I have no doubt it's going to be awesome. In a recent interview with EW, the director discussed some of the issues he had with his first Avengers film and how it has impacted what he's doing for Age of Ultron. We also got some possible plot information for the movie! Here's what he said,

“When I think of a great film, I think of something that’s either structured so perfectly like The Matrix or made so lovingly like The Godfather Part II. There was haphazardness in the way it comes together—not just the people, but the scenes. I don’t think you’d look at it and go, ‘This is a model of perfect structure.’ You’d go, ‘This is working.’ I like it. I’m proud of it and I like its imperfections. The thing I cared most about—making a summer movie like the ones from my childhood—is the thing that I pulled off.”

It's not every day that a director will talk openly about his work, and point out the mistakes he made. He goes on to discuss how that will influence the sequel,

“[With Age of Ultron,] I want to be clearer about how I engage the audience, and where I take them. I want more control visually, more time to prep it. Not that I didn’t dictate every shot—I did. But there’s only so much you can do when you’re making a summer film when the ball is already rolling as fast as it was when I got in. Why do it again if you can’t do it better?”

As for the plot synopsis that hit the net, it sounds a lot different from what we've been hearing, but it also makes sense. This is what popped up on the official IMDB page, 

As the US Government creates a force known as Ultron, The Avengers are told they are not needed any longer. But when Ultron turns against Humanity, it’s time for The Avengers to assemble yet again for their most dangerous challenge ever.

When it comes to IMDB you never really know whether it's official or not, so I wouldn't take it as fact now. But of course there could be some truth to it. The fact of the matter is I can see something like this happening in the sequel. I guess there's a big chance that Tony Stark won't have anything to do with the creation of Ultron, maybe... just maybe, Jarvis and Ultron will fight each other in the movie, which you have to admit would be really cool. Two artificial intelligences in a battle to the death. With the help of The Avengers, of course. That's just my little hope and wish.

Surprise! Warner Bros. has released a new triptych poster for The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. We've seen a ton of posters for this movie so far, and I imagine we're only going to see more before the movie is released on December 13th. 

Cinemax has landed Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman's new series Outcast. The show is an exorcism drama based on another comic that he created. The story follows a character named Kyle Barnes, "a young man who has been plagued by possession since he was a child. Now an adult, he embarks on a journey to find answers but what he uncovers could mean the end of life on Earth as we know it."

Kirkman already has one big hit on TV, do you think he can replicate that success with Outcast? Kirkman had this to say in a statement,

Despite the success of The Walking Dead, Outcast is only my second foray into the horror genre.  I think Kyle Barnes is every bit as compelling as Rick Grimes and demonic possession is way scarier than zombies--so this is going to be fun

FOX International Channels (FIC) today announced that Cinemax has acquired the U.S. rights for The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman’s exorcism drama, Outcast.

Outcast was shopped as a spec after it was developed internally at FIC and is Kirkman’s first time penning a pilot. It was pursued by a number of leading cable networks before landing at Cinemax. The TV adaptation is based on Kirkman/Skybound’s recently announced comic book by the same name. Kirkman will serve as Executive Producer alongside David Alpert of Circle of Confusion.

Outcast follows Kyle Barnes, a young man who has been plagued by possession since he was a child.  Now an adult, he embarks on a journey to find answers but what he uncovers could mean the end of life on Earth as we know it.

“Despite the success of The Walking Dead, Outcast is only my second foray into the horror genre.  I think Kyle Barnes is every bit as compelling as Rick Grimes and demonic possession is way scarier than zombies--so this is going to be fun,” said Robert Kirkman. “Starting a new project is like setting off on an long journey and I couldn't ask for better travel companions than David Alpert and Sharon Tal Yguado and I'm thrilled to be a part of what Cinemax has planned for the next few years.”

“At FIC, we’re committed to creating compelling, innovative television with A-List writers like Robert Kirkman, and with Cinemax we have a partner that is as passionate as we are about this very unique project," said Sharon Tal Yguado, Executive Vice President of Original Development and Scripted Programming at FIC. “Outcast is unlike anything on television and has the potential to become another global phenomenon.”

FIC’s long-standing partnership with Kirkman began on the record-breaking, global hit series, The Walking Dead, on which FIC is the international partner and global broadcaster in 125 countries. Outcast is the latest example of FIC’s mission to develop breakthrough character-driven dramas in the U.S. that can translate into global tentpole franchises. FIC pioneered its global day-and-date release strategy with the hit series The Walking Dead, and replicated it with key properties, including Da Vinci’s Demons and The Bridge. The group most recently announced a development deal for the espionage thriller, False Flag, in partnership with Keshet International and Peter Landesman, the writer and director of Parkland.

Cinemax’s first original primetime series, Strike Back, was recently renewed for a fourth and final season. Banshee will launch its second season in January 2014, andThe Knick, directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Clive Owen, is currently in production for a 2014 debut.

Disney has released the first poster for the Robert Stromberg-directed live-action adaption of Maleficent. It features Angelina Jolie as the insanely creepy villain from Sleeping Beauty. She looks so damn good as this character! Just so you know, the first trailer for the movie will premiere tomorrow at 9am Eastern time, so stay tuned for that!

The movie also stars Sharlto Copley, Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Juno Temple, and Lesley Manville. It comes out May 30th, 2014.
