Guardians of the Galaxy’s Star-Lord is getting his own solo comic book series with Marvel NOW! and thanks to Comicbook.com we get our first look at his new costume, which was designed by artist Kris Anka. Talking about the new costume he come up with, Anka said:

“My basic approach with this new Star-Lord design was I wanted one that encompassed all his previous designs. I think it's safe to say Peter has had a lot of different costumes over time, so I wanted to bring them all together into one cohesive look.
“The first thing I knew I wanted was to make the undershirt a throwback to Peter's original costume; it seemed like the perfect opportunity. Everything else was forged out of creating a combination between his movie costumes, which he has been rolling around in, with his [Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning Guardians of the Galaxy] military looking costume. The helmet is iconic now, so that didn't change.”

Star-Lord writer Chip Zdarsky chimed in to talk about the artist and Star-Lord’s now look saying:

"I've said it before that if you have Kris Anka on your book and DON'T get him to re-design something? You're a monster. So I'm eternally grateful that our bosses Jordan D. White, Kathleen Wisneski, Darren Shan, Axel Alonso, Joe Quesada, Stan Lee and Walter Disney are NOT monsters so we could get this gorgeous new outfit. It's fresh and fun with some really nice ties to previous outfits. Kris is a genius"

Above is Anka’s cover art for StarLord #2 and below you’ll find some character sketches for you to check out. The new comic is set to hit stores in Fall and I dig the design. I wonder if we’ll ever see a version of it in the movies.

SUICIDE SQUAD Reveals That Harley Quinn Murdered a Major DC Comics Hero

I’ve seen Suicide Squad twice already, and there’s a little Easter egg in there that I completely missed both times. It involves Harley Quinn and a superhero in the DCEU that she apparently killed.

The big reveal is mentioned during Harley Quinn’s introductory scene that lists her criminal history. According to The Wrap, there’s a big revelation there that some fans might think is cool and others might be pissed off about. If you don’t want to know the details, then don’t read ahead!

During Quinn’s intro as we get a brief and quick breakdown of her history, apparently, it says that she admitted killing Robin. The report says:

“In no uncertain terms, we’re told that Harley admitted to murdering Robin.”

I just assume this is the same dead Robin from Batman v. Superman. We saw Robin's suit in the film in a display case at Batman’s headquarters. Written on the suit with spray paint was the sentence, “HAHAHA joke’s on you Batman.” We all just assumed that was The Joker, but this new revelation seems to prove otherwise.

suicide-squad-reveals-that-harley-quinn-murdered-a-major-dc-comics-hero444

I can see this version of Harley Quinn pulling off that deadly deed, but at the same time, she could have just admitted to killing Robin to help protect the Joker and take the heat for him because that’s something I can see her doing as well.

In the 1988 comic A Death in the Family, it was The Joker who tortured and killed the Jason Todd version of Robin. Regardless, I imagine that one day we will get a backstory on what really happened to Robin, especially if The Red Hood is introduced into the DCEU, which has been previously rumored.

It will be interesting to see how the backstory of Robin has changed in the DCEU films. What do you think about the possibility of Harley Quinn being the one who killed Robin?

Character from the STAR WARS Prequels Confirmed to Appear in ROGUE ONE

A certain character who was introduced in George LucasStar Wars prequels is confirmed to appear in Gareth Edwards' Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It’s just a brief cameo, but it’s kind of cool to see this character return. If you don’t want the identity of this character spoiled for you, then I suggest that you not read ahead.

Jimmy Smits will reprise his role of Bail Organa in Rogue One. We previously saw the character in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith. The news comes from Smits himself during an appearance on The Talk. When he was confronted about fan speculation that he was spotted in the trailer for the film, he acted like he couldn’t say anything, and then he just let it out with a laugh saying:

“Can you say the word cameo? Can you say the words small part?”

So there you have it. Just in case you aren’t sure who this character is, he is the adoptive father of Princess Leia, and he was killed in A New Hope when the Death Star blew up the planet Alderaan. With Rogue One taking place prior to the events of A New Hope, Lucasfilm managed to find a place for him in the story so we get to see him one more time before he is obliterated.

This isn’t the only time that Smits has reprised his role of Organa. He provided the voice of the character in the 2008 video game, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

Fun-Filled Olympics TV Spot For Disney's MOANA

After a quick tease last week, Disney has released the new TV spot for the studio's latest animated feature film, Moana, that debuted yesterday during the Rio Olympics. Aside from looking jaw-droppingly gorgeous (as many Walt Disney Animation films tend to), this movie just looks like a tremendous amount of fun, with Dwayne Johnson's larger-than-life demigod Maui goofing around and being kept on his toes by the adventurer Moana (newcomer Auli'i Cravalho) as they take to the open seas. Plus, we get a taste of new music for the movie partly created by Hamilton's Lin-Manuel Miranda. Check it out below:

Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped – and no one knows why.  From Walt Disney Animation Studios comes “Moana,” a sweeping, CG-animated feature film about an adventurous teenager who sails out on a daring mission to save her people. During her journey, Moana (voice of Auliʻi Cravalho) meets the mighty demigod Maui (voice of Dwayne Johnson), who guides her in her quest to become a master wayfinder. Together, they sail across the open ocean on an action-packed voyage, encountering enormous monsters and impossible odds, and along the way, Moana fulfills the ancient quest of her ancestors and discovers the one thing she’s always sought: her own identity. Directed by the renowned filmmaking team of Ron Clements and John Musker (“The Little Mermaid,” “Aladdin,” “The Princess & the Frog”) and produced by Osnat Shurer (“Lifted,” “One Man Band”), “Moana” sails into U.S. theaters on Nov. 23, 2016.

George R.R. Martin Announces Development on a WILD CARDS TV Series

George R.R. Martin took to his LiveJournal page and announced that Universal Cable Productions has acquired the rights to Wild Cards, the long-running series of anthologies and mosaic novels he edits, with the intent to adapt them into a television show.

For those who have never heard of Wild Cards, here's his description:

The shared world of the Wild Cards diverged from our own on September 15, 1946 when an alien virus was released in the skies over Manhattan, and spread across an unsuspecting Earth. Of those infected, 90% died horribly, drawing the black queen, 9% were twisted and deformed into jokers, while a lucky 1% became blessed with extraordinary and unpredictable powers and became aces. The world was never the same.
Wild Cards is a series of books, graphic novels, games... but most of all it is a universe, as large and diverse and exciting as the comic book universes of Marvel and DC (though somewhat grittier, and considerably more realistic and more consistent), with an enormous cast of characters both major and minor.

Martin himself won't be working on the new series (he's a little busy writing The Winds of Winter), but he said that "Development will begin immediately on what we hope will be the first of several interlocking series" and he ended his blog post with one tantalizing bit of information:

Only one thing I can say for (almost) sure. You will be seeing Croyd Crenson, no matter shape the eventual show or shows ends up taking. It wouldn't be Wild Cards without the Sleeper.

I've never read Wild Cards so I don't know who that character is, but I imagine if you've been following along with it since its creation in 1986, that sounds like it could be a piece of news that might be worth pumping your fist about. Martin hopes the new show will make it through development and onto our screens in a year or two, so we'll keep you posted as we hear more.

Have you read Wild Cards? Are you excited about a TV show version?

Watch: Two of The STRANGER THINGS Kids Sing Along With The Show's Instrumental Theme Song

Like all of you, I watch a lot of TV. But there are very few shows I'll be patient enough to sit through the opening credits for. A show has to have a truly great theme song for me to avoid fast forwarding past it and jumping right into the action, and Netflix's excellent Stranger Things recently joined the extremely rare list of shows of which I actively enjoy sitting through the opening credits. The combination of the super stylish red font and that enigmatic and pulsing synth score did a great job of putting me in the right mindset to enhance my appreciation of every episode.

Someone at Netflix had the idea to ask two of the show's stars — Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) and Caleb McLoughlin (Lucas) — to attempt to "sing" along with the instrumental theme music, and if you're a fan of the show, this will certainly put a smile on your face:

List of Possible Deleted Scenes From SUICIDE SQUAD Makes The Film Much Darker

$

0

It seems like a list of unconfirmed deleted and alternate scenes from David Ayer’s Suicide Squad has surfaced online. There’s no word on if this information is legit, but it’s definitely intriguing to read about a different version of the film that we could have seen.

Personally, I enjoyed the hell out of Suicide Squad, but for some reason, critics are hating it and it’s kind of sad that some of them can’t enjoy fun movies like this. It’s almost like most of them went into the film expecting it to suck so they went in looking for everything bad about the movie. I don’t think the film is perfect by any means, it has its faults, but it sure was a fun ride! If you missed my review, you can check it out here

As far as general audiences go, they seem to be loving it. I’ve seen the movie a couple more times with real audiences, and as I listened to their reactions, they all seemed to think it was great. People are still going to be critical of it, though.

We already know that a lot of scenes were cut from the film, and who knows, maybe the addition of some of them and the way they would have been cut into the film would have made it better for critics. I guess we’ll never know. One thing is for sure: these scenes would have made the film much darker. Many of the deleted scenes focus on the relationship between The Joker and Harley Quinn.

Here is the list that was found by Reddit user Naydawwwg. A few of these scenes were featured in some of the TV spots and trailers for the film. I also included some interesting plot points taken from the novelization of the film.

In early cuts, the movie's opening detailed June Moone's posession by Enchantress in real time. Reshoots reshuffled the scene to be later in the movie in flashback form in favor of a new opening centered on Deadshot.
Deadshot in the prison cell, watching the rain fall and thinking about his daughter.
El Diablo observing the flame of a lit match, before putting it out due to his vow to no longer use his powers.
El Diablo being escorted to a training center by being placed in a tube that fills with water to quel his flames, and then unceremoniously dropped onto the ground.
Early interviews mentioned Captain Boomerang's racism and sexism, but the movie is light on examples of such behavior, which have apparently been deleted. Most of them were reportedly directed at Katana, to whom Boomerang is attracted to.
Early reports indicated more backstory for Killer Croc, revealing that he lived his entire life as a social outcast due to his physical deformities and has convinced himself that he is beautiful in his own way. Croc crossed paths with Batman while working as muscle-for-hire for numerous Gotham's crime bosses, while secretly planning to take over one day. There were also scenes displaying his affinity for making sculptures out of discarded materials. Aside from jokes about Croc viewing himself as 'beautiful,' one of these were retained in the final cut.
Also deleted was a scene where he (Croc) becomes sick at the helicopter escort to Midway City, throws up half-digested pieces of goat, and then eats them again, disgusting the nearby Navy Seals.
Early cuts reportedly included a passing reference to Slipknot being serial rapist, likely to further paint him as unsympathetic to the audience ahead of his own death.
More scenes of Rick Flag and June Moone's romantic relationship, including him reading the files of the Suicide Squad recruits after Waller delivers them to him.
Another scene where Flag and Moone are out on a date.
Extended scene of Joker interrogating Captain Griggs, including the line, "I can't wait to show you my toys," which was in every trailer, but was removed from the movie.
Joker and his men escaping after shooting up a restaurant. Harley, who is already affiliated with the Joker, follows them on a motorcycle and intercepts their car. Joker bangs his head against the glass in frustration.
Joker and Harley then get into a fight, which ends with Harley pointing a gun at Joker's head. Joker sweet-talks Harley into lowering the gun, charming her, then backhands her across the face. Afterwards he sweet-talks her again and they kiss.
Extended Ace Chemicals scene where Harley jumps into the chemicals. More bits of dialogue by the Joker.
Extended Batmobile chase scene with more interaction between Joker and Harley. One of the examples, presented in all the trailers, is the Joker punching the roof of his car.
Harley using her baseball bat as a mock gun to play shoot at invisible foes.
Extended scene of Joker breaking into the nanobomb manufacture facility to arrange for Harley's neck-bomb to be disabled.
More interactions between Harley and Boomerang. Early cuts apparently included her really disliking him despite growing affectionate to all other members of the squad.
Extended bar scene with Harley taking everyone's orders. Deadshot calls for a shot, Katana wants whiskey, Croc and Boomerang settle for beer, Harley asks Diablo wants and he prefers water which she jokes, is "a good idea." The scene was featured in the trailers, but in the movie it cuts directly to Deadshot's speech about them almost pulling the mission off.
Removed several scenes with the Joker to repaint his relationship with Harley as more loving rather than abusive.
Joker and Harley get into an argument after he rescues her in the hijacked helicopter. In early cuts he reportedly pushes her out to kill her, then the helicopter gets shot down. This was apparently reworked into the helicopter getting shot down first and Joker pushing her out to save her.
Joker returns during the final battle in the subway station, face half-burnt from the helicopter crash, which apparently leads to a brief altercation with the Suicide Squad. He calls for Harley to escape with him but she refuses for once in order to help her friends, and the Joker escapes after throwing a live grenade at the group to cover his own escape.

The following story points come from the novelization of the film, and they were posted online by Reddit user seventhonmars. It changes up the structure of the story and gives a more traditional flow and it also offers up some new details.

The story begins with June Moone investigating the caves. She'd being haunted by nightmares of a woman. She's travelled half way around the world to search for something that potentially may not exist. She knows the name 'Enchantress'. She is accompanied by two people, Manuel and Luis, mountain guides she has worked with for several years. She can also speak Spanish. The mountain guides refuse to go into the cave with her. It seems like June has been plagued by these dreams for a long time.
The story then goes to Arkham Asylum where it has been a peaceful night, until masked thugs descend from helicopters into the courtyard. They kill all the guards. The thugs are looking specifically for Harleen. "Doctor Quinzel. How nice of you to join us. You're looking... good enough to eat. Figuratively speaking, of course. I'm strictly vegan. At least today". The Joker then implies that the electroshock therapy is revenge for her doing it to him, and 'scorching what few dead and faded memories I had into a sizzling knot...'. In the film Harley seems to not fear the Joker but in here she's pleading for him to let her go. But then she starts to enjoy it, asking for more pain and pleasure.
Then we go to Deadshot who is out in town. He gives coupons to homeless men and then watches them scramble to get them. We get the scene with him preparing to shoot the guy.
Then we get the club scene which is largely unchanged.
A scene with Deadshot and his daughter that was in the movie, but also him arguing with his ex-wife, and then Batman.
Then the Joker and Harley in the car. We find out why the track is called 'You can't make my teeth hurt' and the line 'Hope you've got insurance'. The Joker doesn't give a shit and laughs at the fact that he drives into Gotham river leaving Harley to die. Batman says 'Joker took something important from me. It's my turn'.
Then Harley in Belle Reve and Deadshot, being taken by Griggs.
The Ace Chemicals scene is extended. It's implied the Joker makes her jump off as a joke, but then changes his mind similar to the film.
He (Joker) manages to jump out of the helicopter. The helicopter crashes into a bank building. He laughs knowing that money is burning inside. 'God, I love the smell of burning cash in the morning'. I haven't read up to there yet but from a search it appears that he's not in it after that which I find confusing. I'll keep reading. The story has the same ending, though, with the Joker breaking Harley out.
Description of the extended Ace Chemicals scene: The scene goes as follows:
Joker points down towards the vats.

Joker: "There. I was born down there."

Harley stares down. She desperately wants the same.

Joker: "Would you die for me?"

Harley nods.

Harley: "Yes."

Joker: "No... that's too easy. Would you live for me?"

Joker smiles, scaring her.

Joker: "Will you embrace me, and only me?"

Harley nods vigorously.

Joker: "Will you bind your spirit to mine... in hate? Do you consign your soul to me? Do you laugh at the world in disgust?"

Harley: "...yes."

Joker: "Do not say this oath thoughtlessly. Desire becomes surrender. Surrender becomes power. Do you want it? Do you really want it?"

Harley: "I do. I do."

Joker: "Then goodbye, Doctor Quinzel."

Joker gestures towards the edge of the vat. Without hesitation she jumps.

Joker thinks "She's gone, forever. Problem solved." He pauses and touches his chest. He feels something. Love? Of course not. He couldn't see her floating face down and dying. Which was the original plan. He jumps down.

I would like to see another cut of the film with a lot of these scenes added. It definitely seems like it would have a much nastier vibe to the story and the characters.

Woody Allen's Amazon Series Gets a Name and a Teaser Trailer

It's been a year and a half since Woody Allen announced that he'd be writing and directing his first TV series for Amazon, and now we finally have an official name for the show: Crisis in Six Scenes.

Crisis in Six Scenes is a comedy that takes place in the 1960's during turbulent times in the United States and a middle class suburban family is visited by a guest who turns their household completely upside down.

Miley Cyrus, Elaine May, John Magaro, Rachel Brosnahan, Michael Rapaport, Becky Ann Baker, Lewis Black, Margaret Ladd, Joy Behar, Rebecca Schull, David Harbour, and Christine Ebersole star opposite Allen, and if I had to guess, I'd say that the "guest who turns their household completely upside down" is going to be Cyrus' character.

The streaming service also revealed the first teaser trailer for the show, and it's basically exactly what you'd imagine would happen when Woody Allen goes to get a haircut.

The first season will be available to stream on Amazon Prime starting September 30th. We'll have to see if Allen eventually overcame the regret he felt for taking the Amazon deal in the first place.

Bat in the Sun has released their latest episode of Super Power Beat Down. In this latest short film we get to watch Nightwing and the Winter Solider brutally beat the living hell out of each other. One of the things I enjoy about this web series is that the fight scenes are always awesome. If you’ve watched previous episodes, then you know one of them has to die at the end.

Who do you think would win in a fight against Nightwing and Winter Soldier? Find out who wins in the video below! The actual fight begins at the 4:45 mark. There’s a lot of awesome production value in these films and they always turn out awesome.

LUKE CAGE Stands Tall in New Poster; Full Trailer Coming Tomorrow

The latest entry in the deal between Marvel TV and Netflix is Luke Cage, which hits the streaming service late next month. But after an awesome Comic-Con poster and a new trailer a little while ago, today we have an even newer poster and the promise of an even newer trailer that'll be coming out tomorrow.

I love the imagery we've seen so far in all of the marketing for this show. It seems like it's going to tackle some very real, meaningful social issues while also having plenty of room for the kind of larger-than-life fun a superhero TV show needs.

At San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige officially announced the casting of Brie Larson (Room, Short Term 12, Kong: Skull Island) in the role of Captain Marvel. I've been a fan of Larson's for a long time, so I was stoked about this choice from the earliest days of her being rumored for the part, but a few comic book fans weren't quite sold on her as Carol Danvers. Maybe this fantastic photo she posted on her Instagram this weekend will change their minds:

Check Out These Alternate Designs For The Title Villain of X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

$

For me, one of the most disappointing aspects of X-Men: Apocalypse was seeing an actor as charismatic and charming as Oscar Isaac buried under layers of makeup that essentially stifled his performance (the script didn't do him any favors, either). Fans were comparing him to Power Rangers villain Ivan Ooze since his earliest reveal, and I don't think the public perception of him ever recovered from there.

Artist Jared Krichevsky (via ComicBook) had a chance to design the character and now he's released some of those alternate designs on his website for us all to see. It's interesting to imagine how and if the movie might have been different had Apocalypse's look been altered, and I have to say, I think I prefer Krichevsky's work to what we ultimately got in the final cut.

During the filming of Days of Future Past I got to take a stab at designing Apocalypse.
Age of Apocalypse was on of my favorite X-Men series and I was a huge fan of the 90's toon, so this was a lot of fun to do.

While we wait to see that trailer, we have a new TV spot that was recently released which teases some new footage from the highly-anticipated movie. It also promotes the new trailer that is coming.

The spot starts off with several shots of Olympic athletes showing off their awesome skills and then cuts to Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones) trying to talk someone into joining her team who will embark on a mission to steal the plans of the Death Star from the Empire. There are also some shots of the Death Troopers in the heat of battle.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is set to be released on December 16, 2016.

Warning: spoilers for season six of Game of Thrones ahead.

The most recent season of HBO's Game of Thrones finally confirmed what some readers had suspected since the first novel in George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire came out twenty years ago: Ned Stark is not actually Jon Snow's father. (You can read all about that right here.) It's a revelation that makes you look back on his character with even more respect; he lived his life with his wife and loved ones thinking he fathered a bastard child, when in fact he was simply keeping a promise for his dying sister. His honor knew no limits...but it was also what got him killed in the end. Remember him with this tribute from TheGaroStudios (they also made videos for Tyrion, Jon, and Dany).

GOTHAM Season 3 Synopsis Teases Poison Ivy and Mad Hatter, Plus Character Portraits

Fox has released a fresh new synopsis for Gotham Season 3 and a series of character portraits. The new synopsis offers details on what we can expect from the third season, including information on Poison Ivy — who is going through a major change this season — as well as the Mad Hatter, who is being introduced this season. It also gets us up to speed on the other characters in the series. Seems like there's going to be a lot of interesting reveals this season, including more info on the murder of Bruce Wayne's parents.

I'm a fan of this series and I've enjoyed what the creative team has been doing with it. I'm looking forward to seeing where they take the story and these characters next. Here's the full synopsis:

GOTHAM (Mondays, 8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) The origin story continues on Season Three of GOTHAM, and the stakes are higher than ever, as Super-Villains more ambitious and depraved are introduced, and a realignment of alliances shakes up the fight for power in Gotham City. Season Three will peel back the curtain on the infamous criminal organization known as the Court of The Owls. With the Indian Hill escapees on the loose, JIM GORDON (Ben McKenzie) must take matters into his own hands as a bounty hunter in Gotham. He makes it his mission to find HUGO STRANGE (guest star BD Wong), the mastermind behind the horrifying Indian Hill experiments, and FISH MOONEY (guest star Jada Pinkett Smith), one of Strange’s subjects. Meanwhile, GCPD Detective HARVEY BULLOCK (Donal Logue) and Captain NATHANIEL BARNES (Michael Chiklis) remain at the forefront of the fight against crime in the monster-ridden city. Also, BRUCE WAYNE (David Mazouz), with the help of his trusted butler and mentor, ALFRED PENNYWORTH (Sean Pertwee), and former Wayne Enterprises employee, LUCIUS FOX (Chris Chalk), discovers there are still more secrets to uncover regarding his parents’ murders.

As the city sinks deeper into chaos, GOTHAM will continue to follow the evolving stories of the city’s most malevolent villains: THE PENGUIN (Robin Lord Taylor); EDWARD NYGMA/the future RIDDLER (Cory Michael Smith); SELINA KYLE/the future CATWOMAN (Camren Bicondova); BARBARA KEAN (Erin Richards), TABITHA GALAVAN/TIGRESS (Jessica Lucas) and BUTCH GILZEAN (Drew Powell). The series also will catch up with the future POISON IVY (Maggie Geha), who, after an encounter with a monster from Indian Hill, finds herself reborn as a young woman who’s harnessed the full power of her charms; and will dive into the origin stories of JERVIS TETCH/MAD HATTER (Benedict Samuel), a talented hypnotist teetering on the edge of madness; and the TWEED BROTHERS.

GOTHAM is based upon DC characters and is produced by Warner Bros. Television. Bruno Heller (“The Mentalist,” “Rome”), Danny Cannon (the “CSI” franchise, “Nikita”), John Stephens (“Gossip Girl”) and Ken Woodruff (“The Mentalist”) serve as executive producers on the series. “Like” GOTHAM on Facebook at facebook.com/GOTHAMonFOX. Margot Robbie Wants to Play Harley Quinn "Forever"

Margot Robbie's take on Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad was the breakout, crowd-pleasing success fans were hoping since the moment she was cast in the role, and even the people who didn't particularly like the movie think that she was one of the best parts about it. She definitely has that elusive X factor that Hollywood is always looking for, and director David Ayer's camera loves her in the movie.

As you might have expected, the film's cast signed a multi-picture contract with Warner Bros., meaning that sequels are in development (even after the movie's largely disappointing reviews). But while most actors are asked about starring in a sequel to a movie they're in, they answer with a boilerplate "sure, I'm keeping my options open" kind of response, Robbie seems like she's hooked on Harley in a big way. When ComicBook asked her how long she hoped to play the character, she said:

"I hope forever. I really, I could play Harley for a long time. I don't know how long. We've signed on, I mean I think everyone's committed to a couple of films. There's so much you can do. They're the sort of characters that you could keep exploring and find so many more, so much more to do."

Considering she and WB are already developing a Harley Quinn spin-off movie in addition to Suicide Squad 2, Robbie just might get her wish. And I think it's a slam dunk to say that both she and Jared Leto's Joker will show up in Ben Affleck's solo Batman film (hopefully titled The Batman) when that film eventually rolls around.

What did you think about Robbie's performance in Suicide Squad?

With the Olympics in full swing, I've been falling behind on my catch up DVR watching non-stop coverage of the games. I'm guessing you're as Olympic crazy as I am, but since you're at work and can't watch, why not learn about your favorite athletes' top sports films? There's a lot of typical picks in here, but I'm really surprised no Olympic themed movies made the cut!

P.S. Respect for the guy who said Space Jam was his favorite sports movie with a straight face.
