If Barbara was taught martial arts and to use stealth like an ninja by Bruce, then maybe it effected the the way she looked in the beginning of her crime fighting days. Unno..before the black and yellow tights.
Thought maybe this outfit Cassandra Cain uses and ends up choosing/modifying in those years when Barb's no longer Batgirl but the Oracle.
