The image you see above is our first look at James McAvoy looking like a badass detective in the upcoming crime thriller Welcome to the Punch.
The film was written and directed by Eran Creevy, and was previously described as “an epic crime thriller in the mould of Heat or Internal Affairs.” The action thriller follows a London detective (McAvoy) and an ex-criminal named Red Diesel (Mark Strong) who is forced to return from his Icelandic hideaway. Diesel is an old nemesis of the detective, but they are forced to team up in a bid to expose a high-level conspiracy.
