Here's a collection of three movie posters for three fun looking horror-thrillers coming out in the near future. Which of these movies do you think will be the best one of the bunch, and why?
This horror movie was written and produced by Oren Peli, the guy who gave us the Paranormal Activity franchise.
Here's the synopsis:
"Chernobyl Diaries" is an original story from Oren Peli, who first terrified audiences with his groundbreaking thriller, "Paranormal Activity." The film follows a group of six young tourists who, looking to go off the beaten path, hire an "extreme tour" guide. Ignoring warnings, he takes them into the city of Pripyat, the former home to the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor, but a deserted town since the disaster more than 25 years ago. After a brief exploration of the abandoned city, however, the group soon finds themselves stranded, only to discover that they are not alone...
The film opens in theaters on May 25th. To watch the trailer for the film clic here.
The movie stars The Hunger Game's Jennifer Lawrence. I'm not sure what it is about actresses that start to see success, but they all tend to eventually make a horror thriller.
Here's the synopsis:
A mother (Elisabeth Shue) and daughter (Lawrence) who move into a new community and find themselves next door to a house in which a psychotic young girl murdered her parents. While the locals insist the girl vanished after the brutal murders, the young newcomer befriends the surviving son (Max Theriot) discovers the sinister story is far from over.
The film opens September 21st. Watch the trailer for the film here.
