Dimension Films has added a new low budget horror project to it's slate. Deadline reports that they picked up Garden District, a spec script penned by Tony Jaswinski and Luke Goltz. The horror thriller is about "a trio of self-declared mythbusters who get in over their heads while investigating what they think is just another hoax. It involved a mysterious video of a vampire’s execution that goes viral, and the mythbusters head to New Orleans to see if it’s phony." It will be produced by David Kirschner and Corey Sienega, with Matt Signer overseeing the project for Dimension.
Low budget horror movies are all the rage right now. The story sounds pretty cool, and it could be pretty cool. Do you think Garden District sounds like a movie you would like to see?
