Teaser Trailer for Daniel Radcliffe's HORNS - "Is This the Face of the Devil?"

It's been awhile since we've seen anything from Daniel Raddcliffe's Horns. I was wondering what happened to the movie, and it was ever going to be released. Today we have the teaser trailer for you to watch for the supernatural thriller, along with a poster from Empire. The movie seems to have a solid interesting story, and I like the vibe that I'm getting from this first trailer.

Radcliffe plays Ig Perrish, "the never-convicted prime suspect for the violent rape and murder of his girlfriend Merrin (Juno Temple). Hungover from a night of hard drinking, Ig awakens one morning to find horns growing from his head and soon realizes their power drives people to confess their sins and give in to their most selfish and unspeakable impulses – an effective tool in his quest to discover the true circumstances of his late girlfriend’s tragedy and to exact revenge on her killer."

The movie was directed by Alexandre Aja, and it based on the book by Joe Hill. The movie is set to be released in the UK on October 31st. It's supposed to be released in the U.S. sometime  this year, but there's no specific date yet. I've also included two previously released photos.

Retribution: Darkness Falls is a Star Wars fan film that was written and directed Chris Conley. It turned out to be a fun short that some of you might enjoy. Conley is a senior wide receiver on the Georgia football team, and this movie proves he's not just a jock, but a hardcore geek as well. This is what he had to say in an interview with Online Athens:

"My brother and I got into the games and into the some of the Star Wars history outside of the movies and I've just been a fan of it ever since. I've been a big guy who prides myself on remaining who I am regardless of who I'm around or how old I get. It's something that I like and regardless of what people tell me, if it's frowned upon or not. It's me."

The film includes scenes shot using Sanford Stadium and the Tate Student Center as a backdrop. He even got some of the other football players to join in on the action. The fight sequences that were choreographed for the film are pretty awesome.

BIG HERO 6 - TV Spot, Character Posters, Descriptions, and Voice Cast

Disney released a new TV spot for their new animated film Big Hero 6, which is based on the Marvel comic book of the same name. The spot aired during the World Cup final yesterday. It's a bunch of footage that we've already seen from the film, recut and edited together to some new music. So far I love what I've seen from the movie, and I'm looking forward to more! I've also provided official character posters along with a description for each of the characters and the the actors who play them.

Big Hero 6 is a heartfelt comedy adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius—thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, clean freak Wasabi No-Ginger, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion—a cutting-edge robot named Baymax—and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery. Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring comic-book style action and all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios,

The movie is being directed by Don Hall (Winnie the Pooh) and Chris Williams (Bolt), and produced by Roy Conli (Tangled). It's set to hit theaters in 3D on November 7, 2014.

hr_Big_Hero_6_20.jpg
Hiro Hamada (Voiced by Ryan Potter): Robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada has the mind of a genius-and the heart of a 14-year-old: his state-of-the-art battle-bots dominate the underground bot fights held in the dark corners of San Fransokyo. Fortunately, big brother Tadashi redirects Hiro's brilliance, inspiring him to put his brain to the test in a quest to gain admission to the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology. When a tragic event changes everything, Hiro turns to a robot named Baymax, and they form an unbreakable bond-and two-sixths of a band of high-tech heroes on a very important mission.
big-hero-6-tv-spot-character-posters-descriptions-and-voice-cast2
Baymax (Voiced by Scott Adsit): Baymax cares. That's what he was designed to do. The plus-sized inflatable robot's job title is technically Healthcare Companion: With a simple scan, Baymax can detect vital stats, and, given a patient's level of pain, can treat nearly any ailment. Conceived and built by Tadashi Hamada, Baymax just might revolutionize the healthcare industry. But to the inventor's kid brother Hiro, the nurturing, guileless bot turns out to be more than what he was built for-he's a hero, and quite possibly Hiro's closest friend. And after some deft reprogramming that includes a rocket fist, super strength and rocket thrusters that allow him to fly, Baymax becomes one of the Big Hero 6.
big-hero-6-tv-spot-character-posters-descriptions-and-voice-cast3
Fred (Voiced by T.J. Miller): Fanboy Fred comes off like a laid-back dude with no direction. But this sign-twirling, monster-loving, comic-book aficionado is sure to go places-when he's good and ready. For example, Fred doesn't hesitate to join "Big Hero 6," and he has a lot of ideas for his super-hero skillset, too. His ferocious, fire-breathing alter ego comes complete with claws, integrated communications and a super bounce. But his sign-spinning may still come in handy.
big-hero-6-tv-spot-character-posters-descriptions-and-voice-cast4
Go Go Tomago (Voiced by Jamie Chung): Aptly named Go Go Tomago knows what it takes to be fast. She's tough, athletic and loyal to the bone, but not much of a conversationalist. Popping bubble gum and delivering well-placed sarcasm are totally her speed. The daredevil adrenaline junkie is at her best on wheels, and when Go Go joins forces with Big Hero 6, she rolls like never before, using maglev discs as wheels, shields and throwing weapons.
big-hero-6-tv-spot-character-posters-descriptions-and-voice-cast5
Wasabi (Voiced by Damon Wayans Jr.): Wasabi is committed to precision. He's super smart and just a touch neurotic, but the big and burly beatnik can't help but join the cause when Hiro needs him most. As part of "Big Hero 6," Wasabi amplifies his martial arts skills with jaw-dropping plasma blade weaponry. Sharp doesn't even begin to describe this guy.

Honey Lemon (Voiced by Genesis Rodriguez): No description given.

Is This the Future Joker of GOTHAM?

Some screenshots from the pilot episode of Gotham have hit the web, and a few of them feature an actor by the name of Jon Beavres. There's been a lot of Internet speculation that this could be Gotham's future Joker.

In the photos we see the character performing a stand-up comedy routine for the villain Fish Mooney at her club. She seems to be having a good time, and Chester Cobblepot seems somewhat amused by what the comedian is saying.

There's no actual confirmation that this guy will be The Joker, but we do know the character is expected to show up at some point in the series. Why not make him a comedian? For those of you who don't recall, Alan Moore's The Killing Joke gave the villain a backstory that painted him as a failed comedian who turns to crime to make ends meet.

Who knows how this will turn out? We'll just have to be patient and see what happens. Gotham premieres on Monday, September 22nd. Thanks to Bleeding Cool!

Universal Pictures has released an insane car sequence in which Scarlett Johansson's Lucy is tearing through the streets of Paris with chaos is crashing all around her. This is a spectacular scene, and I really hope that they didn't give just us one of the most entertaining parts of the movie. This really is a great scene that's meticulously choreographed. Lucy hits theaters on July 25th! Thanks to Machinima ETC. There's also a second clip that you can check out over that Empire.

Daryl doesn't look like he's having a very good time in this latest photo from The Walking Dead season 5. The guy has obviously taken a bit of a beating, and I imagine the rest of the team have received similar treatment from those cannibalistic bastards of Terminus. It sucks that they landed in this nightmarish predicament, but I'm sure Daryl will come out of it alive. I hope he does, because I'll be pissed if his character gets killed off! The fifth season of The Walking Dead returns in October.

Hot Toys has unleashed a new 1/6th scale collectible action figure for the Bones Mark XLI armor from Iron Man 3. This is a really cool looking armor, and I love how it breaks apart with its rocket limbs. I do wish we could have seen more of all these different armors in action. The filmmakers did the best they could in showing us the abilities of all of them, though.

“Gentlemen!” and with that said, the Skeleton Suit Mark XLI has split into multiple parts to attack Extremis soldiers during Tony Stark’s showdown with Aldrich Killian in Iron Man 3! Nicknamed “Bones’, this armor is built by Tony Stark with speed and maneuverability in mind. It earns its name because of the very unique external appearance of thin black and gold colored armor plating with internal contents exposed.

Today Hot Toys is proud to present this distinctive armor from the Iron Legion – 1/6th scale Bones (Mark XLI) Collectible Figure! In addition to featuring finely crafted structure, black and gold colored armor, LED light-up functions and accessories, this collectible figure has specially designed magnetic components which allow it to be split into multiple parts and re-attach back together at will.

Iron Man fans should not miss out on the opportunity to pre-order this one-of-a-kind armor from the House Party Protocol!

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 - 10 Original Script Details Revealed

original-script-details-for-the-amazing-spider-man-2-revealed

I really did enjoy Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but there was a lot of room for improvement. Thanks to Badass Digest, we have a list of ten things from the original script of the film that were, for one reason or another, cut out of the final product. Some of the points revealed include info on Mary Jane, J. Jonah Jameson, Peter's blood, a slightly different take on Gwen's death, and a different twist to the ending. I've included five of the ten points below so make sure to head on over to Badass Digest to see the rest!

Mary Jane. As we all know Shailene Woodley was cast as Mary Jane Watson, shot some days and then was cut from the movie. The original script includes all of the MJ scenes, and she's introduced as the Parker's new next door neighbor. Her dad is an abusive drunk and she's a waitress who builds motorcycles in her spare time. She has a Spider-Man tattoo on her wrist, and she's clearly interested in Peter, who is totally hung up on Gwen. At one point Spider-Man confronts MJ's dad, telling him to lay off the girl. At the end of the script Gwen comes to Peter's house before heading to London; he's gone but she meets the new neighbor. They have a friendly exchange and MJ says that she always attracts dickheads and asks Gwen what her advice is to get a guy like Peter. "Date a nerd," Gwen says before heading off to die, basically giving MJ the okay to get with Peter.

J Jonah Jameson. JJJ's in the original script, as is Robbie Robertson. We see Peter, who is a student at Empire State University, bring his first Spider-Man pictures to JJJ, who gives him a tour of the Daily Bugle. JJJ complains that the internet is killing the newspaper business; later, Spidey and Electro's first fight send them crashing through the Daily Bugle offices and the printing presses.

Peter's blood. In the original script Peter actually gives his blood to Harry Osborn. This is a huge improvement over the finished film, where Harry just injects himself with spider venom. In the original script the Goblin suit is better explained - it isn't for military use but was specifically built in secret for Norman Osborn. When Richard Parker wouldn't give his blood to Osborn (the Parker DNA still being the key to it all), the suit went into Norman's boathouse where Harry finds it.

The death of Gwen Stacy. It plays out mostly the same in the original script... but Gwen, back broken, hangs on to life long enough to demand that Peter never give up. Because this is the same character who promptly broke his promise to Captain Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man, Peter quits being Spider-Man in the next scene.

"With great power..." The finished film has a terrible bit at the end where Peter quits Spider-Man for a bunch of months, and this time passes by in a montage. The same thing happens here! But instead of finding a tape of Gwen's super on-the-nose graduation speech, Peter is approached by... his dad! Yes, Richard Parker shows back up at the end of the script, and he tells Peter he's been watching him for years. He's seen him become Spider-Man and everything. It's Richard who convinces Peter to become Spider-Man again, and in his last scene in the movie he tells Pete "With great power comes great responsibility," FINALLY working the famous phrase into this new series.

I personally think that the inclusion of most of these things would have made the movie even better than what it turned out to be. I'm not sure why they made all the changes, it seems like the movie could have flowed better.

Andy Serkis Discusses AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Role and the Hulk

Hulk-The-Avengers-movie-image.jpg

Andy Serkis gave one hell of a great performance in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Yeah, I know the character was digital, but that performance was all him. All it basically is is digital makeup. The actor is also set to co-star in Star Wars: Epsiode VII and Avengers: Age of Ultron. During a recent interview with The Daily Beast, Serkis talked about his role in Age of Ultron and educating Mark Ruffalo and Joss Whedon in the art of performance capture:

"The difference for Mark [Ruffalo] this time around is that the Imaginarium, which is our performance-capture studio in London that’s providing all the performance capture for the Avengers movie, is providing education.  Previously, he would’ve walked onto a set and you’ve got Thor and all the other characters in their costumes looking magnificent, and then you’d have Mark in a grey motion-capture suit playing this enormous character, so it’s about giving the actor the right atmosphere and credibility for the performance, which we did in a number of ways. We had to educate the director that the actor owns the role, and what you get on the set is what you should be aiming to put into your cut as the final performance—with the rendering coming later on.”

Serkis went into a little more detail on how they brought the Hulk to life on the set of the film, saying:

“Also, we worked with Mark in really grounding him and playing with the digital avatar before going on set so he could see himself as the Hulk before going onscreen, and we put weights and inhibitors on him to give him the sense that his arms were these big, giant wrecking balls, and so that his biceps wouldn’t intersect with his body. We equipped him. We also gave him a sound system and pitch-modulated his voice so you could hear the enormous Hulk roar coming out of these speakers, so the crew would go, 'Jesus! That’s Hulk on set!' It gives Mark the sense of feeling better, and if he feels better, then he’ll be more comfortable in the performance.”

At one point in the interview he was asked if he would be playing Thanos on the set, who is being voiced by Josh Brolin. This was his reply:

“Um…I’d have to deny that character at this point. But I am playing a character. I was really thrilled that Whedon asked me to be involved. It’s fantastic. I’ve had a ball working with them, both as performance capture consultant through the Imaginarium, but also being asked to be in it. I can’t say anything more!”

So the jury's still out on who Serkis will be playing in Age of Ultron, but I'm sure it will be a great character. It's really cool to see what he is bringing to the production as a whole, though!

We have new TV spots for a couple big budget action films that are coming out soon. Those movies include Hercules and The Expendables 3. Out of these two movies I'm definitely more excited about seeing The Expendables 3. Those movies always manage to provide solid entertainment for me. Hercules, on the other hand, is probably going to take a nose dive at the box office. At least that's my prediction. The excitement level for it seems to be running low. Hercules will be released in theaters on July 25th, and The Expendables 3 comes out on August 15th. Which one are you most excited about seeing?

Guillermo del Toro on What HELLBOY 3 Could Have Been

film_hellboy6_pistole061511.jpg

I've got some disheartening news for all you Hellboy fans out there. Even though Ron Perlman is determined to try and get Hellboy 3 made, director Guillermo del Toro is not so certain that the project will ever happen. During his recent Reddit AMA he was asked about the project, and he gave some details on what the plot could have centered on, saying:

"Well, you know, we don’t have that movie on the horizon. But the idea for it was to have Hellboy finally come to terms with the fact that his destiny, his inevitable destiny, is to become the beast of the Apocalypse, and having him and Liz face the sort of, that part of his nature, and he has to do it, in order to be able to ironically vanquish the foe that he has to face in the 3rd film. He has to become the beast of the Apocalypse to be able to defend humanity, but at the same time he becomes a much darker being. It's a very interesting ending to the series, but I don’t think it will happen."

He went on to explain why he thinks the movie will never get made:

"I think that the first movie made its budget back, and a little bit of profit, but then it was very very big on video and DVD. The story repeated itself with the second already, it made its money back at the box office, but a small margin of profit in the release of the theatrical print, but was very very big on DVD and video. Sadly now from a business point of view all the studios know is that you don't have that safety net of the DVD and video, so they view the project as dangerous….Creatively, I would love to make it. Creatively. But it is proven almost impossible to finance. Not from MY side, but from the studio side. If I was a multimillionaire, I would finance it myself, but I spend all my money on rubber monsters."

It's kind of sad to think that the final act of this Hellboy trilogy will never be realized. It sounds like it would have been a great conclusion to the saga.

Disney has released the first fantastic full trailer for their animated feature Big Hero 6, and fans are going to dig it. The film is based on the Marvel comic by Steven T. Seagle and Duncan Rouleau, and the new trailer offers up more details on the story, a lot of humor, and shows the main conflict that the heroes must face. This movie looks like it has the makings of another Disney animated classic, and this trailer got me even more pumped to see it!

With all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Big Hero 6 is an action-packed comedy-adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius—thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie Go Go Tamago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. All right animation fans, we've got a amazingly cool trailer for a Chinese animated film that you have to watch called Master Jiang and the Six Kingdoms. This movie looks absolutely incredible, and I was completely blown away by what I saw in this 5-minute trailer. What makes this film even more impressive is that all of the traditional animation in it comes from only two guys! There names are Li Wei and Pei Fei, and they previously worked on a film called God Hunters.

The film revolves around the "awakening of an ancient evil put to sleep during an era of darkness. The awakening of this evil will ultimately unite kingdoms from around the world, as well as an unlikely hero called the 'Fishing rod child,' who will rise to the occasion to counter this threat."

The stunning movie will be released sometime in 2016.

13 Actors Who Almost Played Superheroes

$

0
3043475-superman-vs--spider-man-spider-man-558951_1024_768.jpg

There are a lot of "what ifs" in the movie business. There are so many options when it comes to casting actors to play characters in movies. Superhero films are huge right now, and I love most of the actors that studios have cast to play these badass characters. Christian Bale as Batman, Andrew Garfield aa Spider-Man, Henry Cavill as Superman, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man are just a few of many. But these characters could have easily been played by other actors. It's hard to imagine that now since we're already invested in what's in front of our eyes.

I've come up with a list of actors who almost played some of these superheroes. You may already know about some of the close calls on the list, you may not, but when I was researching for this article there were a few things I didn't know before, so I hope that there's at least one bit of new information for you.

I didn't include Nicolas Cage's Superman or Russell Crowe's Wolverine because those just seem like common knowledge by now. Movie geeks talk about them a lot. I had to mention them here so I don't get yelled at, though. I'm sure I may have missed a couple others, but here you go!

Tom Cruise - Iron Man

Marvel originally wanted Tom Cruise to play Tony Stark in Iron Man. They were in talks with him on and off for awhile, but Cruise eventually lost interest in the film and walked away. He just didn't feel like a project he could commit himself 100%. It all worked out in the end when Jon Favreau cast Robert Downey Jr., who turned out to be the best Tony Stark Marvel could get. Favreau also looked at casting Clive Owen and Sam Rockwell in the role.

Bill Murray - Batman

This was a shocker for me. I had no idea that Warner Bros. wanted Bill Murray to play the Dark Knight. Before the studio brought in Tim Burton to direct the movie, they were looking at making it a campy film much like the 1960s TV series… "Kapow!" Luckily, when Burton came on board he steered the story and production in the right direction and gave us an incredible film. Other actors up for Burton's vision of Batman included Mel Gibson and Alec Baldwin.

Edward Furlong - Spider-Man

Yeah, what?! Edward Furlong as Peter Parker? That's a hard one to swallow, but it could have happened. This was when James Cameron was developing it in the mid-90s. Cameron also wanted Arnold Schwarzenegger as Doctor Octopus, which would have reunited the two Terminator 2 actors. Cameron eventually left the project after the production company, Carolco, went out of business. After American History X, Furlongs's career faded into obscurity.

Leonard DiCaprio - Spider-Man

After Cameron left his Spider-Man production, the rights to the character landed at Sony Pictures. This was in 1999, and the studio wanted to get Leonardo DiCaprio, who was still riding high on his Titanic success. Other early contenders for the role included Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jude Law. The studio was working off of Cameron's script treatment, and the only thing to survive all of the re-writes was Spidey's organic web-shooters. After Sam Raimi was brought on board he tested Scott Speedman, Jay Rodan, and James Franco for the lead. In the end the director went with DiCaprio's longtime friend Tobey Maguire. The studio had reservations about the actor, especially after Wonder Boys was released in which he was seen in bed with the future Tony Stark.

Jim Caviezel - Cyclops

Before James Marsden was cast as Cyclops in Bryan Singer's X-Men, the role was originally offered to Jim Caviezel. Caviezel beat out a long list of actors who auditioned for the role such as Thomas Jane, Johnny Lee Miller, Eric Mabius, Owen Wilson, Edward Burns, Edward Norton, and Jude Law. Unfortunately, the actor was forced to drop out of the project due to his commitment to the film Frequency. Marsden stepped into the role, and Caviezel went on to play another superhero… Jesus. Because of that, Singer ended up disqualifying him for the role of Superman in Superman Returns. I guess he didn't want Jesus playing Superman.

Will Smith - Superman

Producer Jon Peters wanted Will Smith to play the Man of Steel in the Kevin Smith-scripted movie. That script included a black superman suit and a giant spider for Superman to fight. He did approach the actor about taking on the role, but the movie fell apart. Years later Bryan Singer flirted with the idea of bringing Smith on board. He offered Smith the role and sent him the script, but the actor turned it down. Smith went on to star in Peters' Wild Wild West, which also included a giant spider.

Sylvester Stallone - Superman

As you can see there are a lot of actors who could have played Superman, but the strangest one for me to think about is Sylvester Stallone. It crazy to imagine Richard Donner's Superman: The Movie without Christopher Reeves. He was the perfect Superman, and it would have been a travesty if Stallone had gotten the part instead of him. After Rocky blew up he was a hot ticket, and he wanted the part badly. It could have been his if Marlon Brando wanted him to play his son in the film. Early in production Warren Beatty, Robert Redford, and Burt Reynolds were also being considered. They even met with Jon Voight and Neil Diamond.

Dougray Scott - Wolverine

Dougray Scott may not sound familiar to you, and that's because he wasn't cast as Wolverine in Bryan Singer's X-Men film. Had he been cast then you might be a big fan, and he might have had Huge Jackman's career. The actor supposedly landed the role but was forced to drop out shortly after filming started. Why? Because it conflicted with another flick he was shooting… Mission: Impossible II. That's a shame.

Marlon Wayans - Robin

marlon-wayans.jpg

Before Joel Schumacher took over the Batman franchise, Tim Burton was working on a third movie, and Marlon Wayans had officially signed on as Robin. He had even done costume testing for the movie. When Schmacher took over the directing duties for the movie he ditched most of Burton's work and ideas, and Wayans was dropped and replaced by Chris O'Donnell. Don't feel sorry for Wayans, though. The actor's contract was paid in full by Warner Bros., and he didn't have to humiliate himself.

Jake Gyllenhaal - Batman

When it comes to Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins, Gyllenhaal was writer David Goyer's first choice to play the caped crusader. He was one of eight actors on a list that included Joshua Jackson, Eion Bailey, Billy Crudup, Cillian Murphy, Henry Cavill, Hugh Dancy, and Christian Bale. Of course, Bale landed the role with his deep, dark, raspy voice, and he was amazing. Later Gyllenhall was up for the part of Harvey Dent, a.k.a. Two-Face, but that didn't work out for him either. It worked out for his sister Maggie, though, who was cast as Rachel.

Emily Blunt - Black Widow

As much as I love Scarlett Johansson, I would have loved to see Blunt as Black Widow, especially after seeing her in Edge of Tomorrow. She literally had the role in Iron Man 2, but due to contractual obligations with Fox, she had to drop out and instead co-star in the gloriously bad Gulliver's Travels with Jack Black.

Josh Hartnett - Superman

He was offered $100 million to star in a Superman trilogy, but turned it down. McG, Wolfgang Petersen, and Brett Ratner were all at one point attached to direct the film he would be in. The script for that film included Clark Kent being best man at Bruce Wayne’s wedding before they started fighting each other. That idea was scrapped when J.J. Abrams brought Superman: Flyby to the table.

John Krasinski - Captain America

Screen Shot 2014-07-14 at 6.37.06 PM.png

He impressed producers so much that he was on the top of the list of actors to take on the role of Steve Rogers. He beat out actors such as Channing Tatum, Ryan Phillippe, Mike Vogel, and Garrett Hedlund. Then from out of no where Chris Evans jumped into the role without even having to audition. Evans turned out to be perfect. I can see why they wanted Krasinski, though.

Comic-Con Introduces Hall H Tracker Wristbands

Comic-Con International will be implementing a new plan for Hall H to help attendees manage their Comic-Con schedules a little better. They will be handing out wristbands to people in line for the first panel of each day. The wristbands are called Toucan Trackers, and here's a description of what they are and how they work:

In order to help you manage your valuable time at Comic-Con, we’re starting a new system for the initial morning line for Hall H called Toucan Trackers! Our goal is to help attendees get a better idea of the length of the line for Hall H. At certain times, listed below, wristbands will be distributed to the line for Hall H for the first panel of the day. These wristbands are not guaranteed entry passes for Hall H, but will show Comic-Con (and you!) your chances of getting into the first panel in that room. By using these Toucan Tracker wristbands, we hope to alert people to the possibility of getting into Hall H for the rest of the day. We will accomplish this by using the data collected to place color-coded markers along the line route, noting approximately what percentage of the room would have to clear in order for those remaining in line to enter. Although we can never guarantee entry, this hopefully will help people determine if they want to continue to wait in line or go do something else.

Here's How It Works:

Wristbands will be distributed for Hall H ONLY. These wristbands are not guaranteed entry passes. They will be used to gauge the length of the line for Hall H.

You must have a badge or badge barcode to be in line.

Wristband distribution will begin in Plaza Park as people get in line but will stop at approximately 1:00 AM, resuming again at 5:00 AM at the spot where the last wristband was given out.

You will need to have a wristband in order to enter Hall H for the first panel of the day only. If people with wristbands leave the line for the first panel of the day and more seating becomes available, the room will be filled with the first people in line who do not have wristbands.

These are not meant to be entry passes, but a marker for attendees in line. As always for Comic-Con International lines, if you need to leave the line for any reason, be sure a member of your group remains in line or you will lose your place in line.

Wristbands cannot be sold, saved, or traded.

After the first panel of the day loads, the wristbands will not be used and the line will proceed as normal.

The wristbands will be in four colors, each color denoting a section of the line. The first quarter of the room capacity will receive a certain color, the next quarter another color, and so on.
