Warner Bros. has released another three TV spots for Man of Steel, and each one offers even more cool new footage from the epic looking Superman flick. The movie hits theaters on theaters June 14th, 2013. We've got 17 more days left until we get to watch Superman unleash the fury! I'm so excited!

This is two TV spots in one video:

In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Cavill) is a young twentysomething journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question – Why am I here? Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Costner), Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack. Will his abilities be used to maintain peace or ultimately used to divide and conquer? Clark must become the hero known as “Superman,” not only to shine as the world’s last beacon of hope but to protect the ones he loves.

Sorry CALL OF DUTY: GHOSTS, Fish A.I. Has Been Around For A Long Time

Call of Duty: Ghosts just can't win. If they don't change anything, people complain. When they try to add new features, people drive the nail further into the coffin. Why shouldn't they though? Especially when the reveal video was full of so many meaningless features. I'm sure even the developers questioned why they were highlighting it. Fish A.I. for example, that's new to this game and next generation for sure...or is it? Watch the video and see for yourself.

DJ Flash - Geek Art Series

When Flash isn't out saving the world with his superpower of being fast, he's taken a part time gig DJing clubs and parties. I can imagine that this is something The Flash would be really good at. No offense to anyone who likes The Flash, but I think he has a pretty lame superpower. The Flash makes Aquaman look cool, expect when he's a DJ.

The art comes from a site called DJ Barry Allen, but there are different versions of the Flash represented as well. The illustration above was created by Matthew Allison. Check out the rest below!

New PACIFIC RIM Kaiju Photos and Concept Art

I have no doubt that Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim is going to be one of the most epically entertaining films of the summer. I don't know anyone that isn't excited as hell to see it, the movie just looks so damn cool! Here are a few new images to check out thanks to Empire Magazine. The first two are high resolution images. The others are scans from the magazine.

While talking to Empire, Del Toro had this to say about himself, his love for monsters, and the movie:

There was something weird about me from the beginning. I don't know exactly when I started loving monsters so much, but it was definitely early. When I was 4 or 5 years old, I would ask my mother, 'Can I sleep in the coffin tonight?' and I would lie down in a drawer or I would sleep in a toy box. There's even a recording of me, aged three or four, asking for a mandrake root, for Christmas, to use in magic rituals.

In creating Pacific Rim, I wanted the fights to have structure, like the wrestling matches of my childhood, so each fight brings a very different kind of aesthetic and a different dynamic. The first fight is very operatic, theatrical: Wagnerian. It happens in the middle of an iceberg-strewn sea, in the middle of a storm, with huge waves crashing on the Jaeger and Kaiju. We worked really hard at making water a character in this movie, frequently referring to Hokusai or the Fuji wave, and trying to make the water enhanced and add to the drama. This fight tries to quote the majesty of a painting by Goya called the Colossus.

July 12th can't get here soon enough!

WORLD WAR Z - 4 New Banners Show Off Fiery Devastation

World War Z looks like it will be the biggest, most ambitious zombie movie ever made. No other zombie film has had this size and scope. It looks like a cool zombie movie regardless of the fact that it doesn't look anything like what we read in the book, but if you haven't read the book, then you have nothing to compare the movie to. Here are a few new banners for the film that show off the epic devastation that we'll see in the story.

Based on Max Brooks' best-selling novel "World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War," the story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself.

Thanks to Total Film and Cine1 for the posters! The movie comes out on June 21st!

Joss Whedon Would Have Loved to Direct STAR WARS: EPISODE VII

Avengers director Joss Whedon revealed that he would have loved to direct Star Wars: Episode VII. He obviously couldn't do it because he's working on The Avengers 2, but here's what he had to say to Empire when they asked if he was disappointed that he didn't get to direct it,

There was a moment of rue that I was already committed, I'm not going to lie, because who didn't want to do that as a kid? But I think they got the right guy so just knowing that I'm going to enjoy the film when it comes out is great. I don't even have to do any work. Can J.J. also make Avengers...?

Whedon has a strong relationship with Disney, so who's to say that he won't end up directing one of the future installments? I hope he does--he'd give fans something incredible!

If Whedon does do a Star Wars film, what aspect of the universe would you like to see him take on?

New Restricted Spot for THIS IS THE END - Apocalypse

I'm rooting for This is the End to be one of the funniest movies of the year. Everything I've seen from it has been great, and everyone I've talked to who's seen it has nothing but good things to say. This new restricted spot features bloody footage and some extended scenes that don't cut out the foul language.

The film stars Seth Rogan, James Franco, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill, Paul Rudd, Michael Cera, Jason Segel, Emma Watson, as well as a ton of other cameos. Enjoy the latest spot! The movie comes out on June 12.

The comedy This Is The End follows six friends trapped in a house after a series of strange and catastrophic events devastate Los Angeles. As the world unravels outside, dwindling supplies and cabin fever threaten to tear apart the friendships inside. Eventually, they are forced to leave the house, facing their fate and the true meaning of friendship and redemption.

Directors In Consideration for BOND 24

Sony Pictures is on the hunt for a director to take on the 24th James Bond movie, and some names in consideration have leaked. There's no confirmation that any of these people are actually being considered, but they make sense.

First we have the director of Drive and Only God ForgivesNicolas Winding Refn. This news comes from Firstshowing who interviewed Refn at Cannes. The director was asked about a rumor of him possibly being up for the gig, and he didn't confirm or deny the rumor. He just smiled and said he loves James Bond. That led to speculation that he is actually in the running. If he is I think he'd be a great fit for the franchise!

Then Variety is reporting that Sony Pictures is also looking at Ang Lee, Tom Hooper, David Yates, and Shane Black. All are really talented directors, but out of this list I don't think Hooper has what it takes. Les Miserables was good, but it should have been more epic. I'm not sure Hooper can do epic, and that's what Bond needs to be. Yates, Shane, and Lee all have proved that they can tackle this iconic character.

These are just a few of many directors that the studio is considering. My top choice out of this list is Refn, who's your number one choice?

Read the Script for the Unfilmed GLADIATOR 2

It kills me to hear this, as Gladiator remains at the top of my list for one of the best modern day films of our time, but supposedly there was always a plan for a sequel to the film. I was really skeptical on this one, but I've found an interview from 2006 with Ridley Scott confirming that he wanted to write around the death of Maximus, and several other articles citing the existence of the 103 page screenplay written by Nick Cave. You can read the entire screenplay here, but for those wishing to save time, here's a quick synopsis.

Maximus enters the afterlife where he meddles and fights with Roman gods, gets reincarnated, becomes immortal, wages war throughout time, and ends up in the modern day Pentagon....yeah. Don't get me wrong, this would make an awesome film...especially as a starting point for an eventual God of War film, but for Gladiator? I give it the thumbs down. Read the script and let us know...ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?!

Sam Mendes Coming Back for BOND 24!

James Bond directors have been a hot topic on the internet today. A few names thrown out earlier included Nicolas Winding Refn, Ang Lee, Tom Hooper, David Yates, and Shane Black. Now Deadline has jumped on board the Bond 24 news wagon, and they're throwing in their own news update, saying that Sam Mendes is actually back in talks with the studio! It still amazes me sometimes how fast news like this can change.

This is surprising, because Mendes is incredibly busy with directing several stage plays. He has said time and time again that he wasn't going to do it. Mendes did an amazing job with Skyfall, and it ended up being the most successful Bond movie so far, pulling in over $1.1 billion. It was a pretty amazing Bond film!

Apparently the studio has decided to wait for Mendes to work through his stage play commitments, and they are looking to make a deal with him to start production on Bond 24 next year. The report confidently states that "Mendes will be the director of the next Bond." They don't say he might, maybe, or possibly be directing. They say he will.

Are you excited to hear that Mendes is coming back for more Bond?

Whoopi Goldberg Joins NINJA TURTLES Movie - Set Photo

Whoopi Goldberg was recently spotted on the set of Jonathan Liebesman's big screen adaptation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Up to this point I had no idea she was in the film. They did a pretty good job keeping it under wraps. There's no word on who she'll be playing in the film. I'm sure it will just be a cameo, but we'll find out soon enough.

The film is based on the characters created by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman. It also stars Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Will Arnett as Vernon Fenwick, Danny Woodburn as Master Splinter, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Megan Fox as April O'Neil, and William Fichtner in an unspecified iconic role, possibly Shredder. Unless Goldberg already nabbed that part!

The movie hits theaters on June 6th, 2014. Do you have any ideas on who Goldberg could be playing?

KICK-ASS 2 - New Graffiti Banner and 5 Image Scans

Kick-Ass 2 looks like it's going to be another irreverently awesome chapter in the superhero franchise. Universal has released a new graffiti-style banner for the sequel, along with five image scans from Empire Magazine, a few of which are new. The photos feature director Jeff Wadlow, Hit-Girl (Chloë Grace Moretz), Kick-Ass (Aaron Johnson), The Mother F*cker (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), and Colonel Stars & Stripes (Jim Carrey).

To catch up on all of our Kick-Ass 2 new click here. The great looking film hits theaters on August 16th, 2013!

Kick-Ass, Hit Girl and Red Mist return for the follow-up to 2010’s irreverent global hit: Kick-Ass 2. After Kick-Ass’ (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) insane bravery inspires a new wave of self-made masked crusaders, led by the badass Colonel Stars and Stripes (Jim Carrey), our hero joins them on patrol.

When these amateur superheroes are hunted down by Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse)—reborn as The Mother F%&*^r—only the blade-wielding Hit Girl (Chloë Grace Moretz) can prevent their annihilation. When we last saw junior assassin Hit Girl and young vigilante Kick-Ass, they were trying to live as normal teenagers Mindy and Dave. With graduation looming and uncertain what to do, Dave decides to start the world’s first superhero team with Mindy. Unfortunately, when Mindy is busted for sneaking out as Hit Girl, she’s forced to retire—leaving her to navigate the terrifying world of high-school mean girls on her own. With no one left to turn to, Dave joins forces with Justice Forever, run by a born-again ex-mobster named Colonel Stars and Stripes.

Just as they start to make a real difference on the streets, the world’s first super villain, The Mother F%&*^r, assembles his own evil league and puts a plan in motion to make Kick-Ass and Hit Girl pay for what they did to his dad. But there’s only one problem with his scheme: If you mess with one member of Justice Forever, you mess with them all.

So How Does Superman Shave Anyway? He Has a Super Beard!

Just the other day I was having a conversation with my friend about Man of Steel, and how Clark Kent goes from a bearded seafaring crabber from Deadliest Catch to a clean shaven superhero. This naturally brought up the question... how did Superman shave that beard, because his hair is super hair!

Remember when Lex Luthor cut Superman's hair with a pair of bolt cutters? The hair was supporting 1,000 pounds, technically that hair shouldn't have even been able to be cut with bolt cutters.

Gillette has teamed up with Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment for a cross promotion to give us answers. They've also enlisted the help of director Kevin Smith, Adam Savage, Jamie Hyneman (MythBusters), Bill Nye the Science Guy, and Mayim Bialik (neuroscientist and Big Bang Theory actress), who each present their own theories in a series of videos that you can watch below.

I would think he'd need some kind of Kryptonite razor, but then, as director Zack Snyder has said, there will be no Kryptonite in Man of Steel, so that has to be thrown out. Check out the theories below, let us know what one you like best, and if you have any other ideas, throw them out there at us!

Full Trailer for the Thriller SCENIC ROUTE with Josh Duhamel and Dan Fogler

Check out this crazy new trailer for an intense looking thriller called Scenic Route. We posted a teaser trailer for this a few months ago, and it featured Josh Duhamel and Dan Fogler beating the hell out of each other when a road trip goes horribly wrong. This new trailer gives us more insight into the story and what leads up to that beating. I think it looks like it will be a solid film.

This film is the directorial debut of commercial directors Kevin and Michael Goetz, and the script comes from The Beaver‘s Kyle Killen. Here's the synopsis:

Mitchell (Josh Duhamel) and Carter (Dan Fogler), life-long friends who have drifted apart, are on a road trip when their old pickup breaks down, leaving them stranded on an isolated desert road. Nobody can pick apart a man like his best friend, and as the relentless elements of the desert grind them down, they start to attack each other’s life decisions with unwavering brutality. As they question who they are and who they could have been, their agitation leads to physical confrontation and ultimately knife-wielding madness, and what begins as an inconvenience becomes a very real life or death struggle.

The movie hits theaters on August 23rd. Does this look like a movie you'd be interested in seeing?

First Look at Autobot Cars in TRANSFORMERS 4

These two photos give us our first look at a couple of cars that will be Autobots in Michael Bay's Transformers 4. They've got an upcoming C7 Corvette Stingray and a $2.4 million Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse. I wonder if they're all going to get a crazy expensive car upgrade. Why do Transformers have to be expensive cars that most of us can't afford to drive around?

It's also being reported by The Wrap that comedian T.J. Miller (Cloverfield, She's Out of My League) is the latest addition to the cast. He'll be playing a mechanic friend of Mark Wahlberg's character. The movie also stars Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles and Li Bingbing. The movie comes out in theaters on June 27th, 2014.

What do you think of the new Autobot rides?

Henry Cavill to Replace Tom Cruise in MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E.

Man of Steel star Henry Cavill is in talks to join Guy Ritchie's next film project for Warner Bros., The Man From U.N.C.L.E. Tom Cruise was set to star in the film along side Armie Hammer and Alicia Vikander, but he had to drop out so he could focus on Mission: Impossible 5. The studio acted fast, and it looks like Cavill will be the film's leading man! Makes sense, as the studio already has a good relationship with the actor.

According to Variety, Cavill was originally up for the part that went to Hammer when Cruise was in negotiations for the lead. It's kind of interesting that now Cavill will end up in the lead role. After Man of Steel comes out, Cavill will end up being a solid box office draw.

The Man From U.N.C.L.E. is based on the TV series which ran from 1964-68.  I've never seen the show, but the story follows "two agents of the United Network Command for Law Enforcement. With gadgets and their wits and charm, they fought the evil forces of Thrush."

I'm sure Cavill will be a good fit for the role. It's definitely a more interesting choice than Cruise. What do you think about Cavill being in this film?

Beautiful Banner Art for Hayao Miyazaki's THE WIND RISES

I love the animated films of Hayao Miyazaki; they're just so damn beautiful. He's got a new movie coming out this summer, called The Wind Rises, and Studio Ghibli has released these three banners for it.

The movie was inspired by the Miyazaki's own manga, called Kaze Tachinu, and a novel by Tatsuo Hori. The story focuses on Jirō Horikoshi, the designer of Japan's famed Mitsubishi A6M Zero fighter plane of World War II. I'm sure this will end up being a another amazing Miyazaki film.

The film will premiere in Japan on July 20th, and I can't wait until it is released in the states.

Here's a new photo of another vehicle redesign for Transformers 4, and this one gives us our first look at Optimus Prime's new design. Michael Bay previously said that he was going to deliver all new robot designs, and as you can see, he's followed through with his word. That's one burly big rig! Bay describes it as a "completely upgraded, custom-built Optimus Prime from Western Star (a subsidiary of Daimler Trucks North America)." I'm looking forward to seeing what the robots end up looking like.

The movie also stars Mark WahlbergJack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Sophia Myles, T.J. Miller, and Li Bingbing. We're still waiting on official story details, but the movie comes out in theaters on June 27th, 2014.
