The movie looks like it could be good. Of course I'll watch anything with Bill Paxton in it! The movie is set to be released in Canada on April 12th. Not sure when it will hit the U.S. yet.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation director Jon Chu is currently in the process of developing the long awaited new big screen adaptation of Masters of the Universe. One day the movie will get made, and when it does, I hope it turns out incredibly awesome! As of right now no casting decisions have been made but in a recent interview with Getty Images Entertainment the director says he wants wants Dolph Lundgren to have a cameo in the movie,

I don’t know if Dolph Lundgren is around or what he’s doing but, yeah, I think that could be some fun if we could find a way. I hope he still has the loin cloth and the long hair and everything.

He must not have seen The Expendables films, because Lundgren is alive and well and kicking ass! Lundgren starred in the original 1987 He-Man movie that holds a special place in my heart because I loved that movie as a kid! I watch it now and it's so bad and cheesy. But as a kid who owned all the toys including the He-Man torture slime playset, I absolutely loved it. 

In one of the previous interviews Chu gave he said the script for the film blew him away. "I had no idea what to expect but it was such a fresh, UNEXPECTED approach I was immediately intrigued," Chu explained. "I never expected to connect on a human level to a MOTU movie but I really plugged in emotionally." Now that G.I. Joe is set to be released this month I imagine Chu is currently hard at work bringing this movie to life. To read more about what Chu had to say about the He-Man movie he plans on making click here.

In this collection I've made multiple exceptions because in the comics Phoenix is almost always surrounded, throwing, or wielding fire. View all of GT's 'Best of' Cosplay Collections.

We've already heard that Harrison Ford and the rest of the original cast from the Star Wars films will be coming back to reprise their roles. Now Ford is talking about returning to the character that made him famous and he says he's looking forward to it! 

WGN caught up with the actor and asked him if the rumors we've been hearing were true. This was his response...

I think it's amost true, I'm looking forward to it. It's not in the bag yet, but I think it's happening.

So there's another bit of solid confirmation that everything points to the original cast returning. Back in the day I thought there was no way Ford would come back as Solo, so it's really cool to hear him say he's excited about it!

Star Wars: Episode VII is scheduled to hit theaters in 2015. J.J. Abrams is set to direct from a script by Michael Arndt. Along with the new trilogy, we'll also be getting some stand alone character films, which I'm also really looking forward to!

Creator Rob Thomas is currently in the process of prepping to shoot his Veronica Mars movie with Kristen Bell. At the moment I am writing this article the Kickstarter has made over $3,680,000, and it's still rising. The plan is to start shooting the film in mid-June to mid-July, and Thomas recently teased that they might end up having some footage from the movie to show off at San Diego Comic-Con this year, which would be amazing! He also said that he plans on having a documentary made that follows the making of the film. Here's what he told THR in a recent interview,

We were built by fans, so we’ll try to do our best to keep the momentum going through that," he says, promising an open shoot with plenty of tweets and photos transmitted to the Internet. "We’re hoping to go to Comic-Con, maybe have some footage to show at Comic-Con. We have a documentary following the making of the movie.

As far as the story and script goes, he keeps adjusting little things as the budget continues to rise.

The movie is outlined, but frankly, I needed to know how we were doing to figure out how to model the script and how to write it. There are very specific things that are going to be affected by what our budget is.

Thomas is looking to shoot in Southern California, where the series was originally set. But that's more expensive to do than shooting somewhere like Vancouver or Michigan. He goes on to reveal a little plot point in the film that will also be affected by the budget,

There’s an altercation [at a high school reunion in the film], and how much money we raise affects whether that is having terse words exchanged or a full-on brawl. One if we hit certain dollar amounts, and the less spectacular if we haven’t.

Regardless of the budget, in the end it's the story they tell that matters. They told plenty of great stories with the TV series on a far less budget, so I think this movie we're waiting for is going to turn out just fine. I think they can deliver something in the end that is going to make the fans really happy. 

Disney's animated Paperman short was one of my favorites of the year, it was absolutely adorable, but what happened to the couple after they found each other again at the end? College Humor created a hilariously crude parody called Paperman Threesome, and it shows us what happened after the paper airplanes bring them together. This got me laughing, and I hope you enjoy it!

Universal Pictures has released a new full trailer Illumination Entertainment's Despicable Me 2. My kids are going to love this movie. They still watch the first one over and over again, so it's going to be nice to see something a little different. It looks like a fun film, so if you enjoyed the first one, you're sure to enjoy the sequel.

The comedy animated adventure features the return of Gru, the girls, the unpredictably hilarious minions…and a host of new funny characters. It looks like Gru will be saving the world this time around instead of trying to destroy it.

Steve Carell will reprise his role as Gru, and he's joined by Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Russell Brand, and Al Pacino. The movie was directed by Chris Renaud and Pierre Coffin, and it's set to be released on July 3rd, 2013. 

About a year ago we showed you a very cool action-packed short called Insane Office Escape that was shot entirely from the first person perspective. The director of that short, Ilya Naishuller, has made a badass sequel and it's just as awesome as the first one was! It's called Insane Office Escape 2, and it also serves as the official music video for Biting Elbows' 2013 single "Bad Motherfucker."

There's some great stuff in the sequel, the director has fun and gets very inventive! I have no doubt that it will completely entertain you! It's an incredibly fun and violent film! Check it out, and let us know if you think this POV shooting style would work for a feature film.

These shops are great, and while you can check out a few of our favorites on this page, you should totally check out the blog and find your favorite characters flashing a thumbs up.

We've got a few new photos for you to check out from Fede Alvarez's insanely disturbing looking remake of Evil Dead. The first few images I've never seen before and a couple feature a little behind the scenes look. The other images are just official screenshots from the trailer. This looks like it's going be an amazing horror film drenched in blood and gore that genre fans are going to love. I think it looks amazing, and word on the street is the movie lives up to the hype!

It stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Lou Taylor Pucci, Jessica Lucas, and Elizabeth Blackmore. In the remake of the 1981 cult-hit horror film, five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin. When they discover a Book of the Dead, they unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.

Iron Man 3 could end up being one of the best Marvel movies to date. I'm starting to hear some stuff and apparently it's pretty spectacular. The ending alone is supposed to be one of the biggest most epic endings that has been done in a Marvel film, and that comes from Marvel president Kevin Feige! In fact the ending is apparently so mind-blowingly explosive that Joss Whedon is worried about how to top it in The Avengers 2. Feige recently showed Whedon a cut of the Shane Black-directed film, and here's what Feige had to say...

There are a lot of suits in this movie. While it is both a movie in which he spends quite a bit of time outside of the suit, as you see it’s not working and he’s -- and he’s with Ty in Tennessee, by the end of it we reveal that underneath the house, which is now covered with rubble, he’s got dozens and dozens of suits. 

And once, throughout the course of the movie, and all that rubble gets pulled aside by construction cranes, just when he needs them, he calls them to the rescue and we have what I think is the biggest most action-packed finale we’ve had. I showed the film to Joss Whedon, who is our writer-director of Avengers and who is currently working on Avengers 2, and he saw the finale of this and he goes, ‘Now what am I supposed to do now? What am I going to do in Avengers 2?’

First of all, I can't wait to see this ending! We obviously saw the beginning of the end in the most recent trailer for the film. Secondly, I'm sure Whedon will end up coming up with something badass. He doesn't need to top the finale of Iron Man 3, he just needs to come up with another awesome story for The Avengers, which I'm sure he'll do.

If you haven't seen Kingpin then this trailer will go right over your head. Honestly, it's probably one of the best recuts of a trailer I've seen in recent memory. My only wish is that they implemented the lost hand somehow! Other than that, a great job by Ben Wilbur. 

Seth MacFarlane is looking to cast comedian Sarah Silverman in his upcoming western comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West. She's currently in negotiations and if officially cast she will play the town prostitute. She would also join Charlize Theron, Liam Neeson, Amanda Seyfried, and Giovanni Ribisi. 

The story has been described as a Blazing Saddles-style comedy that will include contemporary humor, "with one undercurrent being just how dangerous and painful life really was in the late 1800s." 

The story follows a sheepish farmer named Albert (MacFarlane) who chickens out of a gunfight and sees his girlfriend (Seyfried) leave him. When he meets the wife (Theron) of a notorious outlaw who offers to teach him how to shoot, the farmer at first sees a chance to win back his love but slowly falls for the woman. Complications ensue when the outlaw returns and reclaims his woman. Ribisi is playing MacFarlane’s character’s best friend Edward, "a simple shoe repairman who bears up with a girlfriend," played by Silverman, "who engages in all sorts of lewd activities but refuses to have sex with her fiancé, believing that as Christians the couple should wait until marriage before lying down together."

This sounds like it could be a really funny film. I'm a fan of MacFarlane's comedy style, so I'm looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

Sam Raimi is riding high off of his big screen fantasy adventure film Oz The Great and Powerful, it's been doing very well at the box office. The director has now found his next project, it's a new TV pilot that he will direct and executive produce called Rake, which stars Greg Kinnear. This is the first time that Raimi has taken on a TV pilot.

The series is based on the Australian comedic drama, and it follows the "chaotic and comedic life of criminal defense lawyer Keegan Joye (Kinnear), brilliant, frustratingly charming, and with zero filter."

The pilot is set to to go into production in a few days, and I'm looking forward to seeing how Raimi's directing style translates to the small screen.

Here's a great mashup that brings us an opening title sequence for The Avengers but with the original Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers theme song! The video was edited together by YouTuber UnusualSuspect2011, and it turned out to be pretty fun!

I guess Iron Man is the Red Ranger, Captain America is Blue, Hulk is Green, Thor is Yellow, Black Widow is Black, and Hawkeye is... Pink? I guess that works, enjoy the video!

Who would have ever thought that LEGO would end up being so freakin' awesome? Some people are just a lot more talented with them than others. Antonio Toscano and Andrea Toscano used LEGO bricks and stop-motion animation to recreate the trailer for J.J. Abrams' Star Trek Into Darkness. As you'll see it turned out incredibly cool! Hugh Jackman has been cast in a new suspense film called Six Years, which is based on the upcoming novel by Harlan Coben. Jackman was recently nominated for an Oscar for his role in Les Miserables, which he was great in. He recently finished The Wolverine, and will also be reprising his role in Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future.

Six Years centers on a character named Jake Fisher, "who watched the love of his life, Natalie, marry another man. Six years have passed when Jake comes across the other man's obituary. He resolves to attend the funeral, hoping to catch a glimpse of Natalie. But the mourning widow is not Natalie, throwing all of his past memories with the woman into question."

It may not be a big epic film or comic book movie, but it sounds like an intense story. Jackman is a solid actor, and I'm sure he'll be great in it.

Warner Bros. has released an official high resolution photo from Man of Steel featuring Amy Adams as Lois Lane who appears to be asking around about this Clark Kent guy.

Man Of Steel will be released  June 14th, 2013, and I can't wait! I just watched the first Superman film yesterday, and it's such a great film! It was an awesomely charming superhero movie. As much as we like to see these gritty real superhero movies these days, it's kind of sad that we'll never see anything like Richard Donner's Superman again. At least we'll always have it.

In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question 'Why am I here?' Alex Garland, the screenwriter behind films such as 28 Days Later, Sunshine, Never Let Me Go, and Dredd, is set to direct his first feature film from a script he wrote. It's an original sci-fi robot thriller called Ex Machina.

The story centers on "a billionaire programmer who handpicks a young employee to spend a week at his remote estate and participate in a test involving his latest invention -- an artificially intelligent female robot."

This sounds like it could be a solidly good movie. Garland is a great screenwriter, so I'm sure it'll be a good story. It will be interesting to see if he's got some directing chops as well. He's planning to start shooting the movie this summer or fall with a $15 million budget.
