THE HANGOVER III Trailer Is Here and It Looks Awesome!

$

The first full trailer for The Hangover III is here, and the movie looks pretty awesome! I was really hoping the movie would turn out good, and it looks like it's going bring the comedy, insanity, and entertainment! As promised the movie finally moves away from the structure of the first two films and does something different which I love. The Wolfpack is in for another crazy ride, and so are we!

The Hangover Part III is the third and final film in director Todd Phillips’ record-shattering comedy franchise. This time, there’s no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off.

The Todd Phillips-directed movie stars Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Ken Jeong, Heather Graham, Jeffrey Tambor, Justin Bartha, John Goodman, Sasha Barrese, Gillian Vigman, and Jamie Chung, and it's set to be released on May 24th. I can't wait to see it!

Trailer for Joss Whedon's MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING

From The Avengers to Shakespeare, here's the first trailer and poster for Joss Whedon's highly anticipated indie film Much Ado About Nothing. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I've heard great things about it, and I love what I'm seeing in the trailer! It really does look like a great movie, and I'm excited to see it for myself. Not only because I'm a fan of Whedon, but because I'm also a fan of the work of Shakespeare.

The movie also has a great cast that includes Clark Gregg (Avengers), Fran Kranz, and Amy Acker (The Cabin in the Woods) along with Nathan Fillion, Alexis Denisof, Jillian Morgese, Sean Maher, and Reed Diamond. Here's the synopsis...

Leonato, the governor of Messina, is visited by his friend Don Pedro who is returning from a victorious campaign against his rebellious brother Don John. Accompanying Don Pedro are two of his officers: Benedick and Claudio. While in Messina, Claudio falls for Leonato’s daughter Hero, while Benedick verbally spars with Beatrice, the governor’s niece. The budding love between Claudio and Hero prompts Don Pedro to arrange with Leonato for a marriage.

In the days leading up to the ceremony, Don Pedro, with the help of Leonato, Claudio and Hero, attempts to sport with Benedick and Beatrice in an effort to trick the two into falling in love. Meanwhile, the villainous Don John, with the help of his allies: Conrade and Borachio, plots against the happy couple, using his own form of trickery to try to destroy the marriage before it begins.

A series of comic and tragic events continue to keep the two couples from truly finding happiness, but then again perhaps love may prevail.

Much Ado About Nothing opens on June 7th, 2013. Check out the trailer and let us know if this looks like a movie you'd want to see.

When thinking of Snow White, it's hard not to think of the classic Disney animated film. Even though the "original" tale collected by the Brothers Grimm was in 1812. What you might not know is that there are theories that Snow White is based off of a real life woman named Maria Sophia Margaretha Catherina von Erthal, who was born in 1725.

I really searched to find other interpretations of Snow White beyond the iconic Disney version, I hope you enjoy them.

The newest trailer for the Deadpool game is out, and the recent cameo of X-men's Cable has my hype meter flying off the charts. I'm really crossing fingers and toes that this will be the best super hero game I've ever played, although if it isn't I'm sure I will appreciate the fan service just as well. Watch the new trailer rife with violence and hilarity.

This Video on Space Spills Killed My Astronaut Dreams

Many times I've fantasized about how awesome it would be to be an astronaut in space. That all ended when I saw this video. In all honesty it wasn't the core message of the video itself that had me sketched out--as all it contains is a Canadian astronaut answering a simple question about how to clean up spills in a space ship. "Pretty cool!" I thought as I initially started the video and watched as a mustached man of the moon proceeded to talk into a floating microphone and explain the process.

Then the water came out, and I'm like "Whoa!" First off I don't care if it's a demonstration, there's electrical equipment around! I would hate to be doing a demo on some nuance via webcam only to have my glob of water crash into a motherboard and leave me stranded for life! Then he's like "We recycle the paper after retrieving the water so we don't lose the water..." and I'm like "Oh that's nuts, I didn't even think about how they pretty much have the water they go up with..." and then it hit me. "THEY DRINK THEIR OWN P*** AND S*** WATER!" I exclaimed at the screen as astronaut Chris Hadfield smirked on at the camera like he just knew that's what I was thinking. Basically my space dream is dead, it probably won't have the same effect on you...but see if you don't think about it now while watching.

Giovanni Ribisi Cast in Seth MacFarlane's Western Comedy

Giovanni Ribisi is the latest actor to join the cast of Seth MacFarlane's fun sounding western comedy A Million Ways to Die in the West. Ribisi and MacFarlane worked together in Ted. It was also reported by THR that Liam Neeson could be joining the film project as well.

The comedy has been described as a Blazing Saddles-style comedy that will include contemporary humor, "with one undercurrent being just how dangerous and painful life really was in the late 1800s." He joins the previously cast Charlize Theron and Amanda Seyfried.

The story follows a sheepish farmer named Albert (MacFarlane) who chickens out of a gunfight and sees his girlfriend leave him. When he meets the wife of a notorious outlaw who offers to teach him how to shoot, the farmer at first sees a chance to win back his love but slowly falls for the woman. Complications ensue when the outlaw returns and reclaims his woman. Ribisi is in talks to play MacFarlane’s character’s best friend Edward, "a simple shoe repairman who bears up with a girlfriend who won’t have sex with him, but as a working prostitute she’s doing it with everybody else. He [also tries] to get his buddy Albert back into the dating scene."

Ribisi is going to be great in this role! I loved what MacFarlane did with Ted, and I'm sure this is going to be just as funny. I'm looking forward to it!

Funny New Promo for THE INCREDIBLE BURT WONDERSTONE

"Feel the heat of their magical wands!"

Warner Bros. has released a great new promo for The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. The movie tells the comedic tale of rival Las Vegas magicians. This video is cut together like a cheesy Vegas magician ad, and it's got some funny new footage.

This is a fun concept, and it looks like it will be an entertaining film. It stars Steve Carell, Steve BuscemiJim Carrey, Olivia Wilde, Alan Arkin, James Gandolfini, Jay Mohr, and Michael Bully Herbig. Here's the synopsis...

Superstar magicians Burt Wonderstone (Steve Carell) and Anton Marvelton (Steve Buscemi) have ruled the Las Vegas strip for years, raking in millions with illusions as big as Burt’s growing ego. But lately the duo’s greatest deception is their public friendship, while secretly they’ve grown to loathe each other. Facing cutthroat competition from guerilla street magician Steve Gray (Jim Carrey), whose cult followingsurges with each outrageous stunt, even their show looks stale. But there’s still a chance Burt and Anton can save the act—both onstage and off—if Burt can get back in touch with what made him love magic in the first place.

The comedy will magically appear in theaters on March 15th, 2013! The movie was directed by Don Scardino (30 Rock) and scripted by Jonathan M. Goldstein and John Frances Daley (Horrible Bosses).

THE MATRIX Told in 60 Seconds - Animated Video

Here's another fun animated video created by 1A4 Studio in which they retell the story of The Matrix in only 60 seconds. The Wachowskis' Matrix was such an incredible film! I had never seen anything like it when it was first released, it simply blew me away. It's still an impressive movie that I'm sure will stand the test of time. Here's a description of the video,

Put machines, dreams, Neo, dystopia, and more machines into a blender and chug it really fast - that's the taste of this condensed version of the 1999 hit movie.

The video has many of the cool and action-packed things that we loved about the movie, except for the bullet time and trench coats. To watch the previously released Back to the Future 60-second animated video click here

Ed Helms' VACATION Sequel Shoots This Summer!

$

As a huge fan of the original Vacation movies with Chevy Chase, I've been excited about this new sequel we've been hearing about. Vacation writer and directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein have revealed that the movie will actually finally start shooting this summer in Atlanta and New Mexico. Ed Helms will be playing Clark Griswold's grown up son Rusty who takes his own family on a road trip of hilarious misadventures.

Daley and Goldstein talked to Collider about all this recently, and also said that they're casting the other parts right now, some of them will include familiar faces. They don't specify who but they say, “We do [have plans to bring people back]. We’re in the process of having those conversations.”

I assume some of that actors will include Chase, Beverly D'Angelo, and Randy Quaid. It'd be fun to see Anthony Michael Hall in there, even though he's not reprising his role.

It will be interesting to see if they go back to Wally World, because that would be amazing. I can't wait to see how this movie turns out! Here's a funny quote from the directors about this being their first feature film directing gig...

I mean we’ve been directing shorts together, but this is our first feature. When we wrote the script we didn’t know we’d be directing it and then New Line said, ‘Do you wanna pitch yourselves to direct it?’ And we were like ‘You bet!’” “And then we looked at the script and it was like, ‘who wrote this piece of shit?’

Cool Trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s AFTER EARTH

Sony Pictures has released a new full trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s sci-fi film After Earth, which stars Will Smith and Jaden Smith. The new trailer offers up a ton of new footage, and also gives us more details on the story. As most of you already know, I'm not the biggest fan of Shyamalan, but this movie looks like it actually could be good. Trailers can be very deceiving though. Hopefully the movie will be as good as it looks. Here's the synopsis:

A crash landing leaves teenager Kitai Raige (Jaden Smith) and his legendary father Cypher (Will Smith) stranded on Earth, 1,000 years after cataclysmic events forced humanity’s escape. With Cypher critically injured, Kitai must embark on a perilous journey to signal for help, facing uncharted terrain, evolved animal species that now rule the planet, and an unstoppable alien creature that escaped during the crash. Father and son must learn to work together and trust one another if they want any chance of returning home.

The film also stars Zoe Kravitz, Sophie Okonedo, and Isabelle Fuhrman, and it opens up on June 7th, 2013. Watch the trailer and let us know if you think this is a Shyamalan film worth checking out!

Women's STAR TREK Uniform Tunic Tanks

I've got to admit, I've always liked the women's uniforms in the Star Trek franchise. The women looked good in them! They still do! I'm not suggesting all you geek ladies out there go around wearing Star Trek uniforms all the time, but some of you might think these Star Trek Uniform Tunic Tanks are pretty cool. I'm sure your geeky significant other would really appreciate it.

These Star Trek tunic tanks come in Command gold, Operations red and Science Department blue. So choose the one that best fits your personality! They are 96% cotton and 4% spandex. Boldly wear it for $24.99 from ThinkGeek.com.

One of the downsides of being in an occupation that requires a uniform is being stuck in a color that does nothing for your skin tone. There is only so much makeup can fix when you're an Autumn wearing Spring, dangit!

The good news about these tunic tanks is that you're not really working for Starfleet, so you can totally wear blue if you don't know the first thing about space sciences or gold if you haven't passed your test to be in command. Pick the right color for you, departments be damned! Or... and we are just throwing this out there, you could buy all three!

J.J. Abrams Compares His Two STAR TREK Villains

$

It amazes me how much info J.J. Abrams has been able to keep under his hat about Star Trek Into Darkness. We still know very little about the story--we've got the basics down and that's all I really need right now. I'm already excited to see the movie, and I have no doubt it's going to blow fans away!

One of the biggest subjects of conversation about the movie is its villain, John Harrison, played by Bendedict Cumberbatch. Apparently it's still a hot topic, Total Film recently talked to the director and the actor about the character. Abrams went on to compare his last villain Nero to Harrison saying,

[Nero] was just a raging, vengeful lunatic. All he wanted to do was destroy Vulcan, Earth and the Federation...He had backstory but was kind of irrational. The beauty of Benedict's [John Harrison] is that he's completely rational. He's someone that you can have conversations with. You couldn't sit down and talk to Nero - he'd bite your head off!

Cumberbatch then describes the character as a kick-ass warrior,

I did a lot of close combat training. He's a kick-ass warrior, as masterful with his hands and body as he is with weapons...You will have a great discovery during this film, which I think is great...[My costumes] look great. Some of them were (no pun intended) cumbersome and heavy, but some were very snug; you can almost see what religion I am...

The movie also stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Anton Yelchin, Simon Pegg, John Cho, Peter Weller, and Alice Eve. It's set to launch on May 17th, 2013. Here's the synopsis...

When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis.

With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction.

As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.

A couple weeks ago Joey Paur and I screened Oz The Great and Powerful on the Disney lot. Joey screened it twice and said he likes the movie even more after a second screening. I think Michelle Williams is channeling Marilyn Monroe. All this and more in our video review.
