Director Shane Black has shared a new photo from the set of The Predator featuring a few members of the main cast and includes our first look at Alfie Allen and Thomas Jane. Other actors in the image include Trevante Rhodes, Boyd Holbrook, Keegan-Michael Key, and Augusto Aguilera. The image came along with the following note:

"Stone killers with serious acting chops -- but which of them will be chopped... by THE PREDATOR? (See what I did there?)"

The film also stars Olivia Munn, Jacob Tremblay, Yvonne Strahovski, and Sterling K. Brown. Not much is known about the story, but we know that Tremblay's character is "a troubled boy who is accidentally drawn into the conflict with the fierce alien creatures by his father" who is played by Boyd Holbrook.

We've also heard that the film will have a fresh new perspective and that it's going to give fans something we aren't expecting. I'm excited to see what Black's got cookin'! The Predator will be released in theaters in February 2018.

I was out of the country when Moana hit theaters, but I finally caught up with it a few weeks ago. But since I was gone, I missed the whole conversation about it. I enjoyed it; the music was great (minus that crab song), the production design was excellent (that water was gorgeous), and the acting was solid from both newcomer Auli'i Cravalho and veteran Dwayne Johnson. Did you all like it?

Anyway, ScreenJunkies is here with a new Honest Trailer for the film, in which they point out that the film comments on Disney movie tropes while still actually using them. It reminds me of Deadpool in that way. (I bet no one else has compared those two movies yet.) They also point out that with Moana's water powers, it seems as if Disney might be leading up to some sort of Avengers-style princess movie...which isn't likely, but might actually be pretty cool if executed properly. Let me know what you think about Moana below.

The Cinefix crew is back with a brand new homemade shot for shot trailer, and this time they've recreated the Super Bowl trailer for James Gunn's highly-anticipated Marvel sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. It's pretty spot-on, and I always enjoy watching the creative workarounds they come up with to capture some of the big CG-heavy moments in trailers like this (example: the way they used stop-motion to recreate Star-Lord's helmet covering his face). Take a look, and then watch the comparison video at the bottom of the article to see how close they really got.

Marlon Wayans is Naked in a film that takes a note from Groundhog Day and makes a man repeat the worst hour of his life. Here's the official synopsis:

When Rob Anderson (Marlon Wayans), a charming man-child, arrives in Charleston the night before he is about to marry the woman of every man's dreams, Megan Swope (Regina Hall), he hasn't written his vows, learned the steps for the first dance, or even remembered to bring the ring. Instead of taking care of his responsibilities, Rob goes out for a night on the town with his best man (Jonathan Todd Jackson). Then something unexpected happens... Rob wakes up naked in an elevator with no idea how he got there. When the elevator doors open Rob is shocked to find that it's late in the morning and he has only one hour to get to the church or miss his own wedding. He tries desperately to get to the chapel, streaking through a city marathon, stealing clothes, avoiding capture by local police, a near death confrontation with a vicious motorcycle gang, and many other obstacles only to find himself waking up in the elevator again and again. Some unknown force has conspired to make Rob live this hour repeatedly until he finally grows up and becomes the man that his amazing fiancée deserves to marry.

The teaser doesn't show much other than a naked Wayans reliving that moment over and over again, but the synopsis sounds interesting enough for me to check out. Naked comes to Netflix August 11th.

Like crime, urine waits for no man. Judge George Clooney all you want, but I'd like to see how quickly you can pee when you have a 90-pound bat suit that takes a long time to pull on and off! Still, you know it was someone's job to wash that suit after Clooney pissed in it, and I feel like that alone would make me make the effort to remove it as opposed to just piddling all over myself!

That's just the tip of the iceberg of weird facts you can learn about Batman & Robin, hear more in the video below.

Slashfilm has some details on what we will likely see when the first trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi is released. The text description comes from a guy who was present at the Disney shareholders meeting and features some light details on the upcoming film. I wouldn't necessarily say it's spoilery as the whole Disney strategy behind this film and future films is to reveal as little as possible about the plot of the film. If you want to go in absolutely blind and not even know little teases, turn back's what was seen:

    • interior shot from Star Wars: The Last Jedi featuring Luke Skywalker (in some sort of cave or maybe one of the stone huts seen on his island?) saying “Who are you?”
    • Poe Dameron in his X-Wing yelling “It’s now or never” as it cuts back to BB-8.
    • Fighters flying through a line-up of the Resistance fleet – had a feel similar to Rogue One over Scarif.
    • Chewbacca roars.
    • A shot of Captain Phasma.
    • Finn dressed as a First Order Officer on the bridge of a First Order ship.
    • Several shots of Rey igniting and spinning Luke’s lightsaber.
    • Rey’s hand, in slow motion, with all five fingertips touching the ground and pebbles and dirt hovering around her hand.
    • Leia turning to the camera with a hologram of the fleet behind her
    • An X-wing flying into a hangar, possibly the Resistance’s since it looked like another X-wing was parked there – with the nose of the X-wing flaring/popping upwards as the X-wing braked quickly in the air.
    • There was also a wide shot of the island, with Rey out on the point of a ridge practicing with her lightsaber as Luke is farther up the ridge, looking down towards her.
    • It was a close up of Luke’s hands as he grasps the lightsaber, with both hands, and takes it from Rey. Cut to a wider shot of Luke as he looks up towards the camera. And it ended there! No dialogue. Bob Iger reminded us again that they don’t reveal too much. Hilarious, Bob! He then mentioned that the sizzle reel had several shots from the film and that they were going to play those clips again in case we missed them. They showed the sizzle again before the D23 Beauty and the Beast screening.

Like I said, not very detailed! The only real thing we learned from that description is that Finn is going undercover within the First Order and that BB-8 and Poe are teaming up for the second film. It also appears as though this entire film will not revolve around Rey and spend time developing what's going on with both Finn and Poe during her training with Luke.

No idea when the first footage for the film is due out, but I remember we got our first look of The Force Awakens well before this, so when are we finally going to see something?! I can't wait to see it! Star Wars: The Last Jedi releases December 15th.

The Simpsons is famous for its expansive list of characters and a very limited cast of voice actors. While this is done by a lot of shows, you can oftentimes tell who is pulling double duty. That doesn't seem to be the case with Dan Castellaneta, who is able to pullnine different voices he uses for the show out of thin air in an entertaining as hell 20 seconds. Check it out below.

With director Jordan Vogt-Roberts making the press rounds for his new film Kong: Skull Island, he's being asked a lot about his feature film adaptation of Metal Gear Solid. He's already given a couple interviews that have given me hope that he's the right director for the job and that he's going to give fans of the game a kickass movie.

In an interview with IGN, he talks more about the film and says that "there's no world" in which he directs a Metal Gear Solid movie that doesn't include Gray Fox, a.k.a. Cyborg Ninja. He explains:

"When we were sitting down to think about the script at a certain point it was like, 'Is Cyborg Ninja in this movie or not?' And the part of me that was a little kid was like, 'There's no world in which I'm ever going to make a Metal Gear movie that Cyborg Ninja is not going to be in.' It's really easy to be like, 'It's a good character to save for the second one,' but no, no, no."

He also reveals that he's a big fan of the beautiful and deadly Sniper Wolf and there's a good chance that she could be included in the movie as well. These are two great characters, and it will be cool to see them brought to life. I wonder if he has anyone in mind to play any of these characters in the film.

There's also a chance that the film will break the fourth wall. Anyone who has played the game, knows that Psycho Mantis breaks the fourth wall in the game. The director is definitely considering that for the movie and says:

"I actually do think that considering breaking the fourth wall is an important part of potentially what that movie would be. Finding a way to do that in an interesting way. I think things like Deadpool have actually shown that you can play with that conceit these days.
"To me, the fourth wall breaking is a little less important than the walking philosophies and ideologies those characters represent, and getting that right and the tone right and things like that. If breaking the fourth wall makes sense, I'm all for it, [but] I'm more interested in the 'Kojima conversations' about whatever song came out then or whatever - it's that stuff that it just absolutely needs."

When previously talking about his goal for Metal Gear SolidVogt-Roberts explained:

"To me Metal Gear Solid is not just a great video game. Like I said I think it’s a great story. I think it’s a great story and a work of art. And a great like singular voice on this planet in terms of media. So my goal right now is to sort of work and make sure that we’re having the best version of that. So that fans and everyone can sort of experience the brilliance of [Metal Gear creator Hideo] Kojima’s work."

I really hope he can actually pull this movie off! As for what Hideo Kojima thinks of Vogt-Roberts as a director, he saw Kong: Skull Island, and this was his reaction on Twitter:

HBO has released a cool looking teaser trailer for Game of Thrones Season 7 and they've revealed that it will premiere on July 16, 2017! We won't thave to wait much longer and I can't wait to see where Season 7 takes our favorite characters next. We really have no idea what to expect other than what we speculate, but Maise Williams (Arya Stark) previously said:

“Just finished reading season 7, shit gets REAL. I’d start preparing yourselves now… scratch that, nothing will prepare you for this… Holy BALLS.”

You can't get a more excited response about what lies ahead than that! As many you already know, Season 7 will be shorter than the usual ten episode seasons of the past and will only consist of only seven episodes. After that, we have one more season that will close out this epic story.

There's not any footage in the teaser trailer, just a beautifully made promo that hypes up the clash of characters that we'll see this summer!

Danny DeVito is in negotiations to reteam with director Tim Burton on his upcoming live-action adaptation of Disney's classic animated film Dumbo. The two previously worked together on Batman Returns when DeVito took on the disgusting role of The Penguin.

According to Deadline, DeVito will take on the role of a character named Medici, a man who "runs a smaller circus that gets acquired by the evil big top circus villain Vandemere." Tom Hanks has been offered to role of Vandemere, but we still don't know if he's taking it or not.

DeVito will also join the recently cast Eva Green, who will play one of the three main adult roles in the story. She will be part of a family "who develops a friendship with the lovable elephant after seeing him at the circus." The name of her character is Colette, and she's described as "a French trapeze artist who works for Vandemere."

The story for the film has been described as “a unique family story that parallels Dumbo’s journey." I'm looking forward to seeing what Burton's vision of this classic story will be, and I'm excited to see how his visual style will be incorporated into it.

Before watching this video, I was already prepared to be unimpressed. Once I got over the fact that I was going to be wasting my time watching a man in a suit sing a Disney song, I went from slightly amused to legitimately impressed! This guy really can hold a note while sounding like James Earl Jones! Trust me when I say you'll be impressed if you watch the video. Check it out below.

A couple of videos have popped up online that take us on a tour of Walt Disney World’s Pandora: The World of Avatar. The attraction is an extension of the films that director James Cameron is currently developing, and it basically spoils the end of Cameron's epic five film Avatar saga. The attraction is basically Avatar 6.

Cameron reveals that the theme park experience is set in a timeline that takes place a generation after the events in the upcoming five movies. This is after the war between the humans and Na'vi is over and the Na'vi are now welcoming humans to their planet to experience what they have to offer. So the big spoiler is that the Na'vi and humans eventually work out their differences and Pandora isn't going to be destroyed.

As you'll see, Disney’s Imagineers did an incredible job bringing this unique world to life. It looks like it will be an incredibly fun experience check out. I've never been to Walt Disney World in Florida, but it looks like maybe that time will be coming because I want to check it and everything else they have to offer out.

In the first video from The View, Cameron takes Whoopi Goldberg on a tour through the park. The second video comes from Good Morning America and producer Jon Landau offers a little tour of the Pandora and also previews the Flight of Passage attraction, which is a 3D simulator in which riders get to sit on the back of a flying banshee.

Pandora: The World of Avatar opens at Animal Kingdom on May 27.

An awesome set display at the Saigon premiere of Kong: Skull Island went up in flames causing panic to all in attendance. As you'll see in the video, that thing burns quickly! I'm surprised at how much the fire spreads in what I would assume is a short time judging by the response of the Fire Department. I'm also kind of shocked people stuck around to help hold the hose and stop the fire. Check out all the chaos below.

At long last, the casting for the role of the mercenary Domino in Deadpool 2 has finally been revealed. Zazie Beets, who plays Donald Glover's on-again, off-again girlfriend Van on the FX series Atlanta, has secured the role. Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds revealed the casting news himself on Twitter:

A recent casting call described Domino like this:

Neena is a no-nonsense badass who rarely shows her feeling. Highly capable, supremely confident and armored in… well ARMOR… and bullet-proof sarcasm. But beneath her shell she’s still and vulnerable and some soft, beating remnant of her humanity remains intact.

I'm a big fan of Zeetz's work on Atlanta, and I'm excited to see her have the opportunity to step up in a huge movie like this. Recent rumors pegged Moonlight and Hidden Figures star Janelle Monae as the frontrunner for the part, but that obviously didn't end up being the truth. Zeetz beat out reported contenders ranging from Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Sofia Boutella to Lizzy Caplan and Ruby Rose, with many others in between. Deadpool 2 debuted a short film before Logan, and will arrive in theaters sometime in 2018.

X-23 is such an incredible character who was beautifully and brutally brought to life in Logan. The character was originally created for the X-Men: Evolution animated series by Craig Kyle, who most recently worked on the script for Thor: Ragnarok

After X-23 made her debut in the series, she was introduced to the Marvel Comics Universe, where she eventually took on the mantle of Wolverine. She is the new Wolverine, and this is something that the creator never wanted or intended. Marvel just took the character in a completely different direction.

In a recent interview with THR, Kyle was asked what he thought of X-23 taking on the role of Wolverine, and this was his reply:

"I was happy when after the 'Death of Wolverine' she was going to step into the role. That said, I never wanted her to put on Wolverine's costume and take his name, because she's not Wolverine. Wolverine is Wolverine and no one will ever be him. He is this extraordinary, beautiful, perfect thing. I don't want to take away from him and I don't want to strip her of her individuality. I love that she's taken that role. I just wish she could do it in her own costume, that's all."

I think it would have been more interesting to see X-23 go her own way as X-23 instead of as the new Wolverine. She's always been a great character, but now she seems a bit less interesting because she kind of has been stripped of her individuality. Oh well, that's what Marvel is rolling with. I completely understand what Kyle is saying, though.

Kyle does like what they've done with the character in James Mangold's Logan, though! He's happy with her portrayal and when talking about how that all came about he said:

"In 2014, I sat down with James. We had lunch. He had obviously read 'Innocence Lost.' At the time, he had not read 'Target X,' so I pointed him in that direction. In that first lunch, he said, 'The very core of the story, it's a broken man with an aging and very sick father who discovers he has a daughter that he never knew about.' He had a lot of questions about her. He wanted to know the reasons behind the claw placement. And he actually ended up using that. Patrick Stewart stops Logan in the car and tries to explain the fact that she has her claws that way — and uses the pride of lions as an example. That was both my pitch at lunchtime and in an email later."

He went on to share his gratitude for how Mangold brought the character to life in the film and shared the story of how she made her way into the comic books saying:

"I am so grateful for how he brought her to screen. He has a chance to do what I couldn't. My pitch to Joe [Quesada] when he said he wanted to put her in a [comic book] title was, 'Interview with the Vampire had this great Kirsten Dunst character, who was this young child vampire and she was horrified when she realized she couldn't age.' To me, the beauty and tragedy of X-23's continuing story was she leaves the institute when she's 13. I could have pushed that younger. I could have made it 11. She's going to continue to grow and mature and evolve, but because they activated her healing factor early, she's going be trapped in her youthful body for a long time. What I didn't realize was Joe had a very specific story in mind for NYX.  I didn't know about NYX. My excitement of having her in a book was all I cared about at that time.
"But she was then immediately aged up to 16, and then in Uncanny [X-Men] she was 22 and had a boob job. Those issues are a dark place. I was really hoping we would have a young character, a child, a pre-teen who wasn't going to be in the dating, the sexuality aspects of the storylines for a long time to come. ... It's just one of those things she's going to have to carry as she evolves and grows and takes a journey through the Marvel U. But because of the jump in the NYX, that chunk of her storyline couldn't be told."

When asked where he'd like to see X-23's story go in a Logan spinoff sequel, he offered the following pitch:

"We know the kids were created and tested. I'd love to see some of the stories that we told [in the comics], see as much as we can of how she came to be, but then really get into the stories of what she was forced to do and commit. She said she killed people. She said bad people. The bulk of who X-23 and Laura killed in the comic books were bad people, but she did kill some children. She did kill a whole press corps. I think there's something powerful about watching her go through those horrors without any say and without any ability to not take those actions.
"A story I always wanted to tell was, once she's free and once she's gone through what she's gone through, the only way she can have a hope for a future is for her to go back and trace the lives that remained and were harmed by the actions she was forced to commit. You put her on this journey of redemption. She faces the families that lost fathers. The orphans, everyone that was touched by her horrific acts. And she can go through them one by one and face everyone affected by the murders she was forced to commit, if she can get to the end of that road without being killed by those that remain, there's something on the other side of that. I think it would truly be transformative for the character."

That would definitely be a powerful story to tell! I think fans would dig it and it would have that same kind of western tone and story structure that Logan had. Kyle said he'd love to be involved with a new film if he was asked, and I guess if anyone should be involved with an X-23 movie, it should be the guy who created it.

Below you'll find a photo of the original young model used to help bring X-23 to life.

Stephen Spielberg and J.J. Abrams are teaming up to produce a film based on the true-life story of a Syrian refugee woman named Doaa Al Zamed. These are two powerful, talented filmmakers, so the fact that are coming together to develop this film, says something about how powerful the story is.

According to The Wrap, the film is based on a book called A Hope More Powerful Than the Sea: One Refugee’s Incredible Story of Love, Loss, and Survival by Melissa Fleming. Paramount Pictures and Amblin Entertainment acquired the rights to the book, which follows a 19-year-old Al Zamed as she escapes her war-torn homeland for Egypt right before the government was overthrown. If that's not compelling enough, as she sets off to Europe for a better life, she is given two toddlers by two other refugees to care for, and she is forced to survive the long dark road that she embarked on with these kids... in an inflatable water ring.

That sounds like an insanely intense ordeal, and I can't even begin to imagine what that would have been like. Here's a description of the book that offers more details on her experience:

Adrift in a frigid sea, no land in sight―just debris from the ship’s wreckage and floating corpses all around―nineteen-year-old Doaa Al Zamel floats with a small inflatable water ring around her waist and clutches two children, barely toddlers, to her body. The children had been thrust into Doaa’s arms by their drowning relatives, all refugees who boarded a dangerously overcrowded ship bound for Sweden and a new life. For days, Doaa floats, prays, and sings to the babies in her arms. She must stay alive for these children. She must not lose hope.”

There are no casting details yet, but with Spielberg and Abrams leading the charge on this film, you can bet it going to be an amazing film. The two previously worked together on the '80s throwback sci-fi adventure film Super 8.
