Disney has released the Super Bowl spot for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, and it gives us our first look at Johnny Depp back in the role of Captain Jack Sparrow. I'm not really a fan of this franchise, but I'm kinda looking forward to this one because of directors Espen Sandberg and Joachim Rønning, who directed the fantastic film Kon-Tiki. Judging from this trailer, it actually looks like they may have made a solid Pirates movie.

Depp is joined by Geoffrey Rush as Barbossa, Kevin R. McNally as Joshamee Gibbs, and Stephen Graham as Scrum. Newcomers include Kaya Scodelario (The Maze Runner), Brenton Thwaites (Maleficent), and Golshifteh Farahani (Exodus: Gods and Kings).

Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea…including him. Captain Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales hits theaters on May 26th, 2017.

It seems like Logan is one of the most anticipated films of 2017. The trailers for it have been spectacular, and now we have a new one for you to watch. This is the trailer that aired during the Super Bowl not long ago, and it features some new footage from the film that tells a story of an aging Wolverine whose powers are waning,and X-23, who is learning to live with her insanely powerful abilities as they fight to survive in a harsh future.

In 2024 the mutant population has shrunk significantly and the X-Men have disbanded. Logan, whose power to self-heal is dwindling, has surrendered himself to alcohol and now earns a living as a chauffeur. He takes care of the ailing old Professor X whom he keeps hidden away. One day, a female stranger asks Logan to drive a girl named Laura to the Canadian border. At first he refuses, but the Professor has been waiting for a long time for her to appear. Laura possesses an extraordinary fighting prowess and is in many ways like Wolverine. She is pursued by sinister figures working for a powerful corporation; this is because her DNA contains the secret that connects her to Logan. A relentless pursuit begins … In this third cinematic outing featuring the Marvel comic book character Wolverine we see the superheroes beset by everyday problems. They are aging, ailing and struggling to survive financially. A decrepit Logan is forced to ask himself if he can or even wants to put his remaining powers to good use. It would appear that in the near-future, the times in which they were able to put the world to rights with razor sharp claws and telepathic powers are now over.

Logan and X-23 will be unleashed on March 3rd.

The Super Bowl movie trailers continue to roll in with Universal Pictures' The Fate of the Furious! The F. Gary Gray-directed film sees Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw joining Dwayne Johnson's Hobbs' team to take down Dom (Vin Diesel), who has gone rogue. The new trailer is filled with action-packed awesomeness that fans of the franchise are going to flip out over so I hope you enjoy it!

Now that Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon and Brian and Mia have retired from the game—and the rest of the crew has been exonerated—the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman (Charlize Theron) seduces Dom into the world of crime he can’t seem to escape and a betrayal of those closest to him, they will face trials that will test them as never before.

It's here! Netflix has released the first brief promo spot for Stranger Things season two! It aired during the Super Bowl, but now it's online for you all to watch over and over again. I'm so freakin' excited! It looks like things are about to get crazy strange in the town of Hawkins! 

The trailer features nods to Ghostbusters, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Eggo waffles, and then teases some kind of giant creature of death. This was a big tease of what's to come, and I want to see more!

A year after Will’s return, everything seems back to normal… but a darkness lurks just beneath the surface, threatening all of Hawkins.

Stranger Things is set to return to Netflix this Halloween and I can't wait! 

We've already seen a few trailers and TV spots for Gore Verbinski's upcoming psychological horror thriller A Cure For Wellness, but now we've got a sinister and eerie Super Bowl spot for you to watch. From what I've noticed, it doesn't seem like there's a lot of excitement for this film, but I think it looks great! I hope that it's a solid horror movie that audiences will give a chance. 

An ambitious young executive is sent to retrieve his company’s CEO from an idyllic but mysterious “wellness center” at a remote location in the Swiss Alps. He soon suspects that the spa’s miraculous treatments are not what they seem. When he begins to unravel its terrifying secrets, his sanity is tested, as he finds himself diagnosed with the same curious illness that keeps all the guests here longing for the cure.

A Cure For Wellness hits theaters on February 17th.

We've got one last movie promo spot from the Super Bowl to share with you tonight and it's for Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron's comedy Baywatch. There are a few bits of new footage featured in the trailer but most of it is stuff we've already seen before. If this is a movie you're looking forward to seeing, then make sure to check out the trailer because it's still fun and amusing. 

The story for Baywatch centers around "devoted lifeguard Mitch Buchannon (Johnson) as he butts heads with a brash new recruit (Efron). Together, they uncover a local criminal plot that threatens the future of the Bay."

The movie was directed by Seth Gordon (Horrible Bosses) and also stars Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, Jon Bass, and Ilfenesh Hadera. Baywatch hits theaters on May 19th, 2017. 

Not long ago Ryan Reynolds shared a photo of himself hanging out with Hugh Jackman and Piece Brosnan. Fan speculation exploded with talk of Brosnan being up for the role of Cable in Deadpool 2. Turns out there might actually be some truth to that! 

During one of the most recent episode of Meet The Movie Press, Forbes reporter Simon Thompson shared some information from a conversation he had with Deadpool 2 director David Leitch. He approached the director with a tricky comment to get an answer from him. This is what he said went down:

"So I said, 'Congratulations on casting Pierce Brosnan, and he went, 'We have not... yet.'"

There was an emphasis on the “yet.” He went on to say that Reynolds will decide when all the reveals go out for the casting and characters because he’s the producer on the movie.

Co-host Jeff Sneider of The Tracking Board went on record to back the claim saying that co-host Justin Kroll of Variety, “can't say anything, but, yeah, I've heard it's going to him." Him being Brosnan. 

It’s still too early to tell how exactly the casting of Cable in Deadpool 2 will play out, but it seems like Reynolds and the creative team might actually really be trying to get Brosnan to play Cable in this movie! 

It’s pretty crazy and interesting casting, and if Brosnan is cast I have no doubt that he’s going to be awesome in the role!

Adult Swim has released the first promo teaser for Genndy Tartakovsky’s long-awaited Samurai Jack Season 5! I never thought we would see the return of Jack as a series, but he’s back, and it’s going to be awesome! 

The teaser is only 10 seconds long, but it packs an awesome punch and is enough to get fans pumped up even more for the unexpected return of the series. 

The footage begins with a dark silhouette of Jack in the rain. It then concludes with a bolt of lightning illuminating Jack’s face, and he’s looking pretty pissed off. 

Samurai Jack returns on March 11th with 10 new episodes, and this is going to be a much darker version of the series than we’ve ever seen before. Following last night's awesome Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Super Bowl spot, we now have a new poster for the film with the names of the Guardians colorfully sketched out on cassette tapes. We also have a collection of new photos from the film that are basically official stills from the most recent trailer, which gave us our first look at Elizabeth Debicki as the villain Ayesha and Karen Gillan's Nebula back in action. The one main character that hasn't been officially revealed yet is Kurt Russell's Ego the Living Planet. Hell, they didn't even include a graphic with his name on the poster! They made sure his tape was turned around.

Set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

The movie also stars Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Michael Rooker as Yondu, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, and Pom Klementieff as Mantis. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is set to be released on May 5th.

If you've ever wanted to see Hellboy and Ghost Rider come together in a movie and fight, this fan-made mashup trailer created by stryder HD is probably the closest you'll ever get to seeing it happen. The mashup includes footage from films such as Hellboy, Hellboy II: The Golden Army, Ghost Rider, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance, and the Hellboy animated TV show. I think it turned out pretty cool! 

Last week a photo surfaced of Donald Glover meeting Billy Dee Williams to hang out and talk about their shared Star Wars character Lando Calrissian. Since then, THR managed to catch up with Williams and talk to him about meeting Glover, and in the process, he talked about Lando and what that character means to him.  

The actor seems to have some mixed feeling about Lucasfilm bringing Lando back for another movie, but he also seems to like Glover! He says:

“He’s a very delightful young man, I must say. We had a very nice lunch and we talked for a very long time and it was very easy. He had questions about [Lando]. I guess he was doing what normal actors do, they just want to find out what direction they want to take so they gather their information. So, we just sat and talked and I didn’t want to impose on anything he wanted to do, he’s got his own ideas, I would imagine. I know he has his own ideas. He’s a very talented young man. In fact, I was listening to some of his music [Childish Gambino, Glover’s musical alter-ego] and it’s pretty good stuff.”

When asked about what kind of ideas Glover was proposing, he said:

“Not to any great extent, I think he basically just wanted to see me, meet me, get to know me a little bit and probably figure out a way to use me in developing his character.”

Glover has said in the past that he’s not as cool as Williams, and the actor had to agree with him on that. They asked if he gave Glover any pointers to being cool, and he said:  

“Well, nobody’s as cool as me. [Laughs] That’s a tough way to go. No, I’m only joking.”

I don’t think he is joking, though. Williams knows that he’s the man. He previously talked about how the producers of Star Wars would leave Lando legacy. During the interview  he was asked if he changed his mind on that since meeting with Glover and he still seems a bit conflicted:

“I don’t know. To me, I guess what it is that I identify so much with Lando. I mean, Lando has been very much a part of my life for over 30 years. When I go out and do conventions and stuff like that, even though people know me from all the other things that I’ve done, certainly [Lando] takes precedence. I just never thought of anybody else being Lando, I just see myself as Lando.”

He also said that this is a character he has no plans to say goodbye to. 

"Well, eventually something else has to happen with it. But I’m not saying goodbye to that character. It’s still very much a part of my life. I created that character."

If Lucasfilm ever came knocking at his door and asked him to come back and possibly reprise his role, he wouldn’t turn down the offer. Who knows… maybe we’ll see him return for one of the upcoming Saga movies.

Showtime has released a new official promo for David Lynch's highly anticipated return to Twin Peaks, and it's basically a Twin Peaks coffee supercut. If you've ever watched the show, then you know that coffee is a pretty big deal. I have no doubt that the characters will be back to drinking lots of coffee in the upcoming revival series. 

Widely considered one of the most groundbreaking and influential broadcast series of all time, TWIN PEAKS followed the inhabitants of a quaint northwestern town who were stunned after their homecoming queen Laura Palmer was shockingly murdered. The town's sheriff welcomed the help of FBI agent Dale Cooper, who came to town to investigate the case. As Cooper conducted his search for Laura's killer, the town's secrets were gradually exposed. The mystery that ensued set off an eerie chain of events that plunged the inhabitants of Twin Peaks into a darker examination of their very existence. Twenty-five years later, the story continues...

Twin Peaks premieres on Showtime on May 21st. Now excuse me while I go get myself a cup of damn fine coffee. 

A cool new photo from Zack Snyder's Justice League has surfaced featuring Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), and Cyborg (Ray Fisher), who is showing off his "sonic cannon" weapon. Each character is striking a battle pose. Against what? We don't know yet!

Cyborg's sonic cannon has various settings that can either stun the ears of his foes or deliver concentrated blasts of sound potent enough to shatter rock or deform steel.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Warner Bros. has released an extended international TV spot for Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman. In it, she takes action as she vows to defend the world from evil. The trailer is packed full of exciting footage from the film. We've already seen much of it, including our hero battling a villain with her Lasso of Truth.

I've got high hopes for this movie because Patty Jenkins is at the helm. I hope this movie has a great script and that she's able to bring a solid Wonder Woman story to the big screen. It will be nice to have a change from what Snyder has been doing. 

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers...and her true destiny.

Wonder Woman will be released on June 2nd, 2017.

Haley Bennett (The Magnificent Seven, The Girl On The Train, The Equalizer) is dropping some heavy hints that she is the new Catwoman! The only question is, for what? While her Instagram clues have been more than obvious, it's unclear as to whether this Catwoman role is for the upcoming film The Batman, the Margot Robbie Harley Quinn film Gotham City Sirens, or something entirely new! While I suppose that anything is possible, I think it's far more likely that we're going to see Bennett (who looks a lot different than the above pic as you'll see below) in one of the two currently announced Batman projects. 

I can't tell you which one I think she'll appear in because I honestly have no idea, but I do know she is very clearly telling us she's going to be Catwoman! Check out these pictures and tell me you disagree!

Last night during the Super Bowl Marvel showed off a fantastically entertaining promo spot for James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. The studio has since released another TV spot for the film for fans to enjoy! The trailer mostly features footage we've already seen, but there are a few brief new shots spliced into it, including more Rocket Raccoon, a clip of Mantis yelling, and some adorable Baby Groot as he slides down a tunnel with a bomb.

Wolverine is laying down the law in this brand new clip from Logan! In this short but satisfying clip, we see Logan (Hugh Jackman) and a friend (Eriq La Salle) getting hassled by a group of foolish badasses. As bad as they can be, we all know Logan is about as bad as they come! I love the cool demeanor and no-nonsense Wolverine this film is pushing! It's like I'm watching a mixture of Wolverine and Clint Eastwood, and I absolutely love it. Check out the new clip and catch Logan in theaters March 3rd.
