Funny Trailer for Ricky Gervais' Netflix Comedy DAVID BRENT: LIFE ON THE ROAD

Remember Ricky Gervais' character from the original U.K. version of The Office, David Brent? Well, Gervais has brought him back in a hilarious-looking new comedy film for Netflix called David Brent: Life on the Road! It shows us what former Wernham-Hogg manager David is doing with his life these days.

The film follows "a documentary crew catching up with David Brent twelve years on from the mockumentary ‘The Office’. Brent is now a traveling salesman, chasing his dream of rock stardom by self-financing a UK tour with his band, ‘Foregone Conclusion’."

The movie looks so freakin' funny, and there's no doubt that fans of Gervais' The Office are going to love what they see. It has all the wonderful and crazy uncomfortable humor that you'd expect from the character.

David Brent: Life on the Road hits Netflix February 10.

Bob Odenkirk Stars in Hilariously Dark Trailer for Netflix Film GIRLFRIEND'S DAY

Netflix has a new film on the way starring Bob Odenkirk, and it looks pretty damn funny! Here's the official synopsis...

In the Netflix original film, Girlfriend's Day, director Michael Paul Stephenson (The American Scream) invites you to experience a clever and quirky story about love, loss and the worst place to get a paper cut. Meet Ray Wentworth (Bob Odenkirk), once a king of the wordsmith world, and now a down-on-his-luck romance card writer. In an effort to recapture the feelings that once made him the greatest, he gets entangled in a web of murder and deceit as writers vie to create the perfect card for a newly crowned holiday: Girlfriend’s Day.

You'll see a lot of familiar faces in this trailer like Andy Richter and Breaking Bad's Stephen Michael Quezada! The whole trailer is just so dark and goofy, I love it! The paper cut scene alone had me cracking up. For the record, I've been on a Better Call Saul kick lately, so I could be hyping this up more than it's worth. Can't wait to watch it on Valentine's Day!

Stylish Batman and Catwoman Art From Bottleneck Gallery

New York City's Bottleneck Gallery is one of the coolest pop culture art galleries in the world, and now they're at it again with two stylish pieces of Batman art that fans of The Dark Knight will definitely appreciate.

First up is the cover of Detective Comics #800 by Jock, an artist well-known for his work on Batman comics over the years. This one is an 18 x 24 inch giclee, a numbered edition of 100, and costs $45.

And then there's Glen Brogan's 16 x 20 inch giclee, a numbered edition of 75, that costs $40.

It's always cool to see talented artists put their spin on these iconic characters after so many years. I love the colors of the Batman piece, but I think I'm slightly more partial to the character design of the Catwoman piece. Which do you like better? Purchase them here if there are still any left.

John Oliver Visits Other HBO Sets in Amusing Trailer For LAST WEEK TONIGHT Season 4

Last Week Tonight is one of my favorite shows on TV, so I was thrilled that it was renewed for a fourth season on HBO. I love the format, where host John Oliver and his writing staff can do a deep dive into one main topic for most of the episode but still have time to goof around with ridiculous bits during the rest of it. It certainly shouldn't serve as the only way you find out about the week's news, but it definitely works as an extraordinarily funny breakdown of it.

The network has just released a brand new trailer for the upcoming season, and it features Oliver wandering around the sets of other HBO shows and bantering with the announcer. Last Week Tonight returns to HBO at 11pm on February 2, 2017.

New Trailer for James Gunn's Battle Royale Murder Thriller THE BELKO EXPERIMENT

We've got another new trailer for you to watch for the James Gunn written and produced film The Belko Experiment. This is a Battle Royale-like murder thriller that looks absolutely insane in the greatest of ways! There's a good amount of new footage in the trailer that is mixed with all of the great reviews that it's been getting.

The story centers on a South American location of an American company called Belko. The high-rise building that 80 employees work in is mysteriously sealed off at the beginning of a day, and those employees are then ordered to kill each other or be killed themselves. As the violence escalates, the true nature of every Belko employee will be revealed.

The film has a great cast that includes Tony Goldwyn, Michael Rooker, Sean Gunn, Adria Arjona, John Gallagher Jr., John C. McGinley, David Dastmalchian, and Melonie Diaz.

The movie was directed by Greg McLean (Wolf Creek) and is scheduled to be released in theaters on March 17, 2017. To watch the red-band trailer for the film click here.

Sony’s Animated SPIDER-MAN Film Will Feature Miles Morales

Sony Pictures Animation has officially announced that their upcoming animated Spider-Man movie will focus on fan-favorite Miles Morales and not on Peter Parker. There's been speculation that this would be the case since the animated Spider-Man movie was first announced. It's now 100% solidified, and it makes complete sense that they would center the story around this character because Peter Parker has been done to death. Now all Sony needs to do is cast Donald Glover to voice the character!

There's actually a good chance of getting Glover on board because the writers and producers of the film, Phil Lord and Chris Miller, will already be working with the actor on the Han Solo film. The animated Spider-Man movie will be directed by Bob Persichetti (The Little Prince) and Peter Ramsey (Rise of the Guardians).

Miles Morales is a great character who was created by Brian Michael Bendis and artist Sara Pichelli and made his Marvel Comics debut in Ultimate Fallout #4 following the death of Peter Parker. The character has some of the same powers as the original Spider-Man, but he is also capable of briefly turning invisible and a venom sting that can paralyze his foes. He now fights alongside an adult Peter Parker in the Marvel Universe.

The animated Spider-Man film will swing into theaters on December 21, 2018.

FURIOUS 7 Meets THE LITTLE RASCALS in Hilarious Mashup!

One last ride? OOOOOTAY! I don't even care that the lips don't sync up in this trailer mashup for Furious 7 and The Little Rascals, the editing is still fantastic! It also brought to my attention how big of a fall that old man took for the film! That had to be a younger stunt man in makeup, right? I don't know if I would risk a move like that in my old age!

Check out the hilarity below.

James Frain Will Play Spock’s Father in STAR TREK: DISCOVERY

We've got some good news and bad news about the Star Trek: Discovery series that is currently in development at CBS. According to THR, the series has once again been delayed and will no longer premiere in May. They report:

“Production on Star Trek: Discovery begins next week. We love the cast, the scripts and are excited about the world the producers have created. This is an ambitious project; we will be flexible on a launch date if it’s best for the show. We’ve said from the beginning it’s more important to do this right than to do it fast. There is also added flexibility presenting on CBS All Access, which isn’t beholden to seasonal premieres or launch windows.”

The good news is that Spock's father Sarek will play a part in the series and he will be played by James Frain (Gotham, Orphan Black). The character has made several appearances throughout the franchise over the past five decades.

Frain will join the previously cast Sonequa Martin-Green (The Walking Dead) in the lead role; Doug Jones as Lt. Saru, a Starfleet Science Officer; Anthony Rapp as Lt. Stamets, an astromycologist, fungus expert, and Starfleet Science Officer; and Michelle Yeoh as Starfleet captain Georgiou.

There's not a lot of information regarding any plot details, but we know that Discovery will take place before the original Star Trek series.

Cool Interview With Internet Filmmaker Who Makes B Movies From His Home

Filmmaking is hard. It takes hundreds of people on staff to make one film look good, and working by yourself is often times not an option if you want quality. Richard R.G. Miller doesn't let a lack of budget, help, or quality get him down, though, and he's been pushing out films on his YouTube channel for over five years now!

Like I mentioned earlier, the quality is far from fantastic, but it's damn impressive what he's managed to accomplish using the things he finds around his home!

I think this guy should serve as an inspiration to all filmmakers out there. He doesn't let low view counts get him down, he's just doing what he loves, and it's changed his life for the better. Check out this interview Great Big Story did with him to see all the stuff that goes into his films, and check out a clip from one of his latest movies — "The Mask Man" — below! Keep plugging away, Richard!

Woody Harrelson plays a regretful man in the upcoming film Wilson. The film, which is based on a graphic novel of the same name by Daniel Clowes, features Harrelson playing a man fighting to get his wife and kid back... after 17 years. The whole thing looks to have Harrelson back doing comedy, which I much prefer to his other acting! Check out the first trailer below and see it in theaters March 24th!

Like all of you, I've been eagerly anticipating the new trailer for Logan, and today, Hugh Jackman confirmed that the trailer will debut tomorrow! That gives us all something awesome to look forward to! Jackman made the announcement with the following tweet:

I can't wait to see what this new trailer shows us. What I loved so much about the first trailer is that it didn't even really look like a superhero film, it looked like an awesome gritty western. Will the new trailer be better than the last? We'll find out tomorrow!

I also included a new official photo below featuring Dafne Keen as a very young version of X-23. It comes with the simple caption "waiting." I assume she's waiting for Logan, but it's not really important. What's important is that we get to see a new trailer for Logan tomorrow!

In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan's attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.

Logan is being directed by James Mangold and also stars Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier/Professor X, Boyd Holbrook, Richard E. Grant , Stephen Merchant, Eriq La Salle, Elise Neal, and Elizabeth Rodriguez.

Logan opens in theaters on March 3, 2017.

The first clip from John Wick: Chapter 2 has been released, and although it doesn't feature any crazy action it features Wick (Keanu Reeves) returning to the hotel from the first movie with his dog. Lance Reddick reprises his role as the front desk clerk, and there appears to be a “No dogs Allowed” policy. Do you think the dog will die this time around?

In this next chapter following the 2014 hit, legendary hitman John Wick is forced back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers.

The movie is being directed by Chad Stahelski and also stars Common, Riccardo Scamarcio, Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose, Bridget Moynahan, Lance Reddick, and Franco Nero, with John Leguizamo and Ian McShane. The film opens in theaters on February 10th.

Guillermo del Toro Is Promising HELLBOY 3 Meetings If You Vote For It!

If you're a Hellboy fan who has been hoping for that Hellboy 3 movie to happen, it seems like director Guillermo del Toro is still keen on making it happen!

The director promised fans on Twitter that he would meet with Ron Perlman and Mike Mignola (creator of Hellboy) to discuss moving forward with the film, on one condition: One hundred thousand fans need to vote for it to happen in the following poll, which only had two options, "Yes" or "Hell Yes":

Let's keep pushing this forward, make it happen, and show the studios that there is an audience out there for Hellboy! You know that Del Toro will keep his promise if this film project actually gets reignited. Del Toro started this, so I hope that he pushes it through to the end with a studio coming in and financing it.

Ron Perlman made an incredibly hard push for Hellboy 3, so we know that he's down to reprise his role if it happens. I don't want to get too excited because there's always a chance that this movie won't happen.
