Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer Meets His Real Father in Funny Animated Short

With Christmas coming up, I've got a fun animated short for Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer in which he meets his real father. I thought it was such a fantastically funny idea to make his dad the guy from the classic game Operation. You know... because they both have big red light-up noses. The short was created by Patrick De Nicola for XVP Comedy, and I think you're gonna enjoy it.

SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING Gets a BIRDMAN Mashup Trailer

YouTube user EJPlays has appropriately taken the trailer for Marvel's Spider-Man: Homecoming and mashed it together with footage from Michael Keaton's Birdman. The two films blend together pretty well, especially since Keaton plays a crazy bird man in each of them.  The video is called Birdman: Homecoming, and it came with the following description:

Birdman must face his deadliest foe yet: Spider-man! Witness a story of theater, teenagers, the virtue of ignorance and much, much more!

It's awesome that Keaton agreed to play The Vulture in Spider-Man: Homecoming. After doing a film like Birdman, you'd think he'd want to stay away from another birdman type role, but that's obviously not the case.

Guy Dresses as Darth Vader and Rolls Around on a Death Star Playing Flaming Bagpipes

What better way to celebrate the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story than to dress up as Darth Vader and balance and roll around on top of a ball designed to look like the Death Star, all while playing flaming bagpipes? Trick question: there isn't a better way to celebrate — especially if you're the Unipiper, aka Brian Kidd. One of Portland's weirdest talents shows off his particular set of skills in his latest video, and it's just as entertaining as all the other times we've seen him work some magic with those pipes.

If you're a fan of Overwatch, you've got to check out this incredibly radical art series that reimagines the characters in a cyberpunk style. The art comes from Ching Yeh, and it definitely gives these characters a much grittier, grimmer tone than what we're used to seeing from the franchise. The art definitely gives the characters an even more badass look!

Embrace Your Inner Dragon With This HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON-Inspired Hoodie

I think the first How to Train Your Dragon movie still stands right alongside James Cameron's Avatar as the film with the best use of 3D ever...those flying sequences really left me feeling as if I was right there with Hiccup flying over the water on Toothless's back. The third movie was recently delayed (bummer), but in the meantime, you can let your love for the franchise be known by rocking this cool Toothless hoodie, complete with its own tail. The attention to detail is a nice touch — this is a post-injury Toothless, as seen by the red piece on the tail. You can pick it up at Hot Topic here.

The CW Releases 3 Minute Trailer for THE 100 Season 4

It’s time for another apocalypse in the season four trailer for The 100. Last season ended with Clarke (Eliza Taylor) being warned by an AI named Alie that the remaining power plants are melting down, getting ready to cause a nuclear annihilation, and once again, as shown in the trailer, Clark is trying to get her people and the Grounders to work together against another threat.

From the trailer, we can see this season will start off dramatically and probably have us in our seats from episode one to the finale with tight fists and racing hearts as we follow the characters, and from the looks of the trailer, none of them are going to have an easy time this season.

The 100 will premiere on February 1st, 2016 on The CW.

This Time Lapse Video of a Life-Size LEGO Mustang Being Built Puts the Pedal to the Metal

In just under a minute, this YouTube video (via BoingBoing) showcases the incredible build of a life-size LEGO version of a classic "1964 1/2" Ford Mustang V8 Coupe, which is affectionately known as the "Brick Pony." Check out the stats on this sucker:

Made out of 194,900 LEGO and DUPLO® bricks, the giant model took approximately 1,200 hours to assemble by a team of veteran Master Builders at LEGO Systems, Inc., in Enfield, Conn.

#BrickPony measures more than 15 feet long, nearly 6 feet wide and more than 4 feet tall. It weighs 1,712 pounds, of which 960 pounds are LEGO bricks and 752 pounds is its aluminum chassis.

A few surprises were added under its hood, including a virtual horn and the sounds of a real Mustang engine — a first for a life-size LEGO vehicle — plus working headlights and taillights.

I've always been more of a Camaro guy myself, but even I have to admit this is pretty rad. To catch a glimpse of this beast with your own eyes, just rev your own engine and head over to the LEGOland Resort in Winter Haven, Florida.

New Trailers for THE PATH Season 2, HOMELAND Season 6, and BILLIONS Season 2

We've got a few new trailers for some upcoming new seasons of some great TV shows that are coming back for their new seasons. The first is Hulu's second season of The Path, the second is for the sixth season of Showtime's Homeland, and the third is for the second season of Showtime's Billions. If you haven't been watching any of these series, you should give them a shot!

The first season of this show was intense and powerful, and the upcoming season looks pretty damn crazy. The series stars Aaron Paul, Michelle Monaghan, and Hugh Dancy. Season 2 premieres on January 25th on Hulu and here's the synopsis:

The Path follows a family at the center of a controversial cult movement as they struggle with relationships, faith and power. Each episode takes an in-depth look at the gravitational pull of belief and what it means to choose between the life we live and the life we want. The series blends elements of mystery-thriller, romance and the supernatural.

This is one of the best dramas on TV, and if you haven't been watching, you've been missing out one some compelling storytelling. Homeland stars Claire Danes, Rupert Friend, and Mandy Patinkin, and it's set to be released on January 15th.

Taking place several months after the previous season, Carrie Mathison is back in the United States, living in Brooklyn, New York. She is now working at a foundation whose efforts are to provide aid to Muslims living in the United States.

Billions is a fascinating story filled with extremely interesting characters, and it's a must watch series. I absolutely loved Season 1. The series stars Damian Lewis and Paul Giamatti, and Season 2 premieres on February 19th on Showtime.

Season 2 picks up immediately after the season one finale, as hard-charging U.S. Attorney Chuck Rhoades (Giamatti) squares off against billionaire hedge fund king Bobby "Axe" Axelrod (Lewis), scorching the earth in a costly war for personal domination. It's law versus money, with power, sex, and the soul of New York in the balance. Maggie Siff stars as Wendy Rhoades, Chuck's estranged wife and the top performance coach in the hedge fund world. Malin Akerman plays Lara Axelrod, Axe's fiercely loyal and street-smart wife. Season two finds the characters vying for control in a changing world that presents an existential threat. For all of them, it's a choice between evolution and extinction.

A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS Art Collection From Dark Hall Mansion

Christmas time just wouldn't feel like Christmas without watching A Charlie Brown Christmas. I love that animated classic, and to pay tribute to it, Dark Hall Mansion has released a series of wonderful posters that pays tribute to the holiday special. There are three pieces of art. The first one above comes from Dan May and the ones below are from Marq Spusta, Mike Dubois, and Eduardo Sanabria. If you like any of these prints, click here.

Dark Hall Mansion, www.DarkHallMansion.com, under license from Peanuts Worldwide LLC, continues its annual Christmas and holiday Peanuts releases with artists Dan May, Mike DuBois, Eduardo Sanabria and their official limited edition prints for  "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and "Merry Christmas Charlie Brown," all available Friday, December 9th at 12:30 PM-PST!!
Artist Dan May's interpretation of Charles M. Schulz's 1965 classic, "A Charlie Brown Christmas," is quiet and powerful, a piece subtly addressing troubled times with Charlie Brown removed and elevated from the noise of the world and blur the holidays can become by masking that which is most important. Dan's composition instantly struck us in finding Charlie Brown, accompanied by a quietly emotional Snoopy, not merely reflective but openly longing and prayerful for that which matters most; a moving reminder for us all, particularly during the holidays.
Artist Mike DuBois' "Merry Christmas Charlie Brown" is a gently sweet counterpoint sharing a warm and at ease Charlie Brown very much at peace and enjoying his world with close friends on that most special of nights. Mike's stylistic approach renders his print visually interesting as even his trees seem to lean and reach for that holiest of stars whilst Charlie Brown's inner peace is similarly reflected in one very content Snoopy. Mike's foil editions immediately sold out on our first day of release for his "Evening Celebration" prints and here his Lava and Sparkle editions, both printed on foil substrate, lend an additional and striking dimension to his "Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown" prints by heightening the emotion and context of each. Mike's editions are screen printed and individually hand signed by the artist.
Finally, DHM is so very excited to be working with award winning artist, Eduardo Sanabria, whose vibrantly colored work and intensely stylized approach well serves that most classic dance break moment in "A Charlie Brown Christmas" that has the whole Peanuts gang sharing one of the single most famous moments in Peanuts film history. Eduardo's body of work and socials following speaks for itself and DHM is looking forward to surprising fans with upcoming collaborations with Eduardo.
Marq's "A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS" is a tender and sweet piece with lovely frost colored nuancing that nonetheless reads warm thanks to our finding two old friends sharing Charlie Brown's most special Christmas tree under that most holy of stars, a reminder to us all to pause, breathe deep and remind ourselves of that which most matters in life.
Marq's "LAST TO FALL" is a quiet yet strong piece informed by the same emotional resonance that Charles M. Schulz infused so much of his work with, Charlie Brown at once reflective, gentle, compassionate and serene.

Two great new clips have been released from Assassin's Creed. The first features an action-packed scene in that leads to Michael Fassbender's character, Callum Lynch, taking the leap of faith. The second clip puts the focus on Callum meeting the other inhabitants of Abstergo, specifically the character played by Michael K. Williams.

Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.

Assassin's Creed is set to be released on December 21st. The movie was directed by Justin Kurzel (Snowtown, Macbeth) and also stars Marion Cotillard, Jeremy Irons, and more.

It's always interesting to see different visions of the future in film, especially when the story is set in a post-apocalyptic world. It's always a dark, gritty, and bleak place that we hope never happens in real life. As a way to pay tribute to the movies that deal with our dismal fate, video editor Bora Barroso created a video supercut called "The World of Tomorrow," and you can enjoy it below along with a list of films that are represented in the video.

The films used in the video include:

- Mad Max Fury Road
- I Am Legend
- The Book of Eli

- Oblivion
- Priest
- Los últimos días
- Carriers
- 28 Days Later
- Children of Men
- 12 Monkeys

Snake and Ghost Save Christmas in Fun METAL GEAR SOLID Fan Film

I've got an entertaining Metal Gear Solid fan-made film for you to watch today called "Snake and Ghost Save Christmas." As the title suggests, the two characters re-team to use their deadly skills to save Christmas, and Santa is captured. There's a lot of action, humor, and cheesy dialogue that I'm sure fans will enjoy. I love that as Santa keeps his jolly "Ho Ho Ho" attitude through the intensity of being captured and extracted and that he gets surprisingly brutal!

We've still got a ways to go before we see Taika Waititi's Thor: Ragnarok smash its way into theaters. I'm incredibly excited to see what that movie entails, but while we wait for the first trailer to be released for the film, I have a fun and exciting fan-made trailer for you to watch that was created by Alex Luthor. The trailer uses footage from several films and implements Karl Urban as Skurge, elements from Planet Hulk, and more.

Marvel at This Impressive Spider-Gwen Cosplay

Spider-Gwen is a full-fledged phenomenon at this point, and this is by far the best-looking cosplay I've seen of the character yet. Hendo poses in costume on the upper levels of the Hollywood and Highland complex in Los Angeles (just outside the iconic Chinese Theater and the Dolby Theater, the latter being where the Oscars are held) for photographer Vincenzo Spina. The cosplay is great on its own, but the atmosphere and the lighting take these shots to the next level.

Cool Superhydrophobic Street Art Comes to Life When It Rains

$

Imagine you’re upset because you have to walk through the rain to get to a certain place and you come across art on the sidewalk that only comes out when it rains. That would brighten anyone’s day, right? I hate the rain more than anything, but I know this would brighten my day.

Because of Peregrine Church and his company, Rainworks, who have created something called superhydrophobic coating, which is cement art that only comes out when exposed to water, we now have something to look forward to when it comes to rainy days. Church isn’t the original inventor of the coating, but he did help popularize it by using it as a spray along with stencils.

So next time it’s raining, keep a look out for this amazing art form.
