Robert Downey Jr. To Appear in SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING, But Michael Keaton Might Not

0
0

Variety is reporting that Robert Downey Jr. will reprise the role of Tony Stark in Sony and Marvel's upcoming co-production of Spider-Man: Homecoming. The size of his role in this film has not been revealed yet, so Tony's appearance could be anything from a cameo to a larger supporting role. At this point we're unsure whether he'll show up as just Tony Stark or if he'll actually don the Iron Man armor and suit up to help Spidey battle a bad guy (or two), but we'll keep you posted when we hear more.

Considering Kevin Feige's recent comments about how Marvel Studios characters will be able to cross over into Sony's Spider-Man movies, combined with early word about how well Spidey and Iron Man get along in Captain America: Civil War, this announcement seemed inevitable. Another thing that hasn't been revealed yet? How much Downey will get paid for this appearance. Considering how much he's been banking on the success of his Marvel movies thus far, one has to imagine it will be a staggering amount, but I'm sure more details will emerge soon.

Additionally, the site reveals that Michael Keaton, who was recently rumored to be playing a villain in the movie, may not be able to work out a deal and the search may be on for a new actor to fill that role. On one hand, it would have been interesting to see what Keaton could have done as a bad guy in a comic book movie, but on the other, maybe this will mean he'll be able to do some more interesting non-franchise work instead.

Spider-Man: Homecoming stars Tom Holland, Marisa Tomei, Zendaya, Tony Revolori, and Laura Harrier. Jon Watts (Cop Car, Clown) is directing from a script by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. The film hits theaters on July 7, 2017.

The Hateful Eight by Jason Edmiston. 36"x24" screen print. Hand numbered. Timed edition available for 72 hours from Thursday (4/21) at 12PM CST until Sunday (4/24) at 12PM CST. Printed by D&L Screenprinting. Expected to ship in 6 - 8 weeks. $55

We've written about Jason Edmiston's artwork on the site a bunch of times before, but here's one of his best pieces of work thus far: a glorious piece celebrating writer/director Quentin Tarantino's fantastic 2015 western The Hateful Eight.

The best thing about this Mondo poster is that anyone can get one. While most Mondo pieces sell out almost instantly after they go on sale, this one will be on sale from now until Sunday, April 24, 2016, at 12pm CST. Anyone who wants one can simply click here and order one for $55, a steal for such an awesome piece of work. Plus, the artist is going to randomly include this original pencilled version into one lucky winner's tube just for kicks, so you could end up with two badass pieces when all is said and done.

"Quentin Tarantino is my favorite contemporary director, and Mondo thrilled me with the offer to attack an official poster for his latest movie, THE HATEFUL EIGHT. Enthralled by the film, I accepted the challenge. The eight titular characters are as equally important to the plot of the movie as the super wide, glorious 70 millimeter Panavision presentation. I wanted to feature both the diverse personalities and the beautiful, expansive landscape during a raging snow storm that reflects the energy inside the Haberdashery.
Stylistically, Italian western posters of the 60s and 70s influenced my approach since this production shares many of those films' typical characters and plot cues. I also wanted to maintain as much of my painted style as possible within the limitations of screen printing. I maximized the three-dimensional quality by purposefully layering my background, middle-ground and foreground elements to tell a story. Starting with a full value, black and white traditional painting, I then finalized it digitally. Comprised of 10 layers, created one at a time, the completed work combines a mix of opaque and transparent inks to emulate a full color watercolor painting. The entire process from concept to final poster took nearly 6 weeks. It was a labor of love and perhaps my proudest accomplishment to date."

MAN OF STEEL Prequel Series KRYPTON Closer To Happening at SyFy

0
0

We've been talking about the Man of Steel prequel series Krypton for years now, and it looks like it's finally about to head up, up, and away from development hell and onto our TV screens.

Variety reports that SyFy is "nearing completion of a deal on a pilot order" for the show, which takes place 200 years before the events of Man of Steel and follows Superman's grandfather as he tries to restore honor to the family name after the House of El has been shamed.

The biggest problem I can see here is that this is a David Goyer project. I'm not convinced he's the best person to be bringing these DC projects to life, but he's been part of that roster for so many years with the Batman and Superman movies of the 2000s all the way through Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. He's writing the pilot with Ian Goldberg, and Colm McCarthy is slated to direct as soon as they get the official greenlight. Damian Kindler (Stargate SG-1, Sanctuary, Sleepy Hollow) will serve as showrunner.

The show will apparently be the first modern DC series to actually have connections to the DCEU (shows like Arrow and The Flash have their own separate universe). I think it definitely has some potential, and hopefully Goyer is just there to get it off the ground and then he'll move on to other things, sort of like J.J. Abrams' involvement with Lost.

Watch: Kevin Smith's Story About Working With Prince

This is from one of Kevin Smith's old Q&A specials, the ones he used to do in which someone would ask him a question and he'd tell an elaborate answer for a half hour or more. It was one of the first things I thought of when Prince died earlier today, and it's both a reminder of how great Smith is at spinning a yarn and how eclectic Prince was as a person. Thanks to Pajiba for tracking it down.

Cheesiness and Ultra-Violence Collide in Parody Video THE PUNISHER '66

Jon Bernthal tore things up as The Punisher in the second season of Marvel's Daredevil, but what would a version of The Punisher look like if it was written and shot in the style of the old Adam West Batman series? Well, YouTuber Mrs. Woman has a video that's probably pretty close...with the exception, of course, of the ultra-violence that comes into play. (My favorite aspect of this? I love that the first bad guy addresses him as "The Punisher" instead of just "Punisher." "All right, The Punisher...it seems that you've caught me red-handed!")

Fair warning, though: by the end of the video, things gets very dark. NSFW for language and violence:

How Spider-Man Helped Black Panther’s Role in CIVIL WAR Get Bigger

0
0

Black Panther had a much bigger role in Captain America: Civil War than I was expecting. He plays an integral role in how the story plays out. Turns out, it wasn’t alway like that. He was originally only supposed to have small part in the film, and T’Challa wasn’t originally going to wear his costume. They were going to save that for the solo film. All that obviously changed, and we can think Spider-Man for it.

Civil War writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely started working on the script for the film before Marvel struck their deal with Sony, but Spider-Man was going to be part of their story from the beginning. When it looked like Marvel wasn’t going to get to work with Spider-Man they ended up beefing up the role of Black Panther. During an interview with CinemaBlaned, Markus explained:

“Originally, T’Challa and T’Chaka were just the representatives of Wakanda, sort of the voice of other countries in the world going, ‘You people are out of control,’ and then to be aggrieved by possible Bucky actions. Frankly, just not have him be Black Panther yet. He’s getting his own movie, you know. He’s the prince of a country! That’s pretty good for a movie. Maybe we get to play with Spider-Man and all that. When things maybe looked like we weren’t going to get Spider-Man, it was like, ‘Let’s put the costume on that guy!’"

After the deal with Sony went through, Spider-Man was added back in and since the story arc of Black Panther had evolved they didn’t want to scale it down again. Markus said that Black Panther "became so integral to the story as it evolved that once Spider-Man came back, we didn’t take him out. So, it was a problem that created a really nice situation.”

It makes me wonder if Spider-Man had just a big of a role as Black Panther did in the story until they changed it up, because that would have been interesting to see. In the end, both characters were handled perfectly, and it’s going to be a blast seeing them in their own solo films.

Rumored Original BATMAN V SUPERMAN Story Saw the Two Heroes Working Together

0
0

There’s a description of a rumored original story for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and there would have been no Batman fighting Superman at all. In fact, Batman reaches out to Superman for help to bring down KGBeast, a group of terrorists. The working title for this version of the movie was World’s Finest, and I think it would have made a much better story than what we ended up getting. It seemed like a lot of fans just wanted to see Batman and Superman fight each other, though, and in this story they fight alongside each other.

The following information comes from Movie Pilot, who reports that it came from an anonymous source close to Warner Bros. and writer David Goyer. As you read it, you’ll find some similarities, but there are a lot of differences as well. It’s definitely worth the read if you’re interested to know what could have been. Check it out!

The opening scenes involve a terrorist group that has taken over an African village, and in the process mass massacres — men/women/children — were performed in the name of religious supremacy. Amidst the growing terror, news of it gets to the world, and reporters are sent to the scene to investigate. Lois Lane was given access to interview the terrorist leader, but during the interview, passions grow wild. The crew that came with Lois Lane are murdered one by one, except for her and Jimmy Olsen (photographer), due to the fact that the terrorists wanted their story told, and they want Lois and Jimmy to memorialize their conquests. Shortly after the murders, Superman arrives in the village. Superman manages to destroy enemy armory and tanks, essentially running off the terrorist army. Superman ultimately gets to the headquarters and successfully rescues Lois and Jimmy. He returns to the village to rescue innocent villagers, but while doing so the terrorist leader detonates a bomb; killing themselves and taking out hundreds of innocent people in the process.
A UN Congressional Hearing follows with Superman to explain what happened. The UN fears that Superman’s involvement escalated the terrorists’ plans, thereby causing the deaths of innocent civilians. Superman is sanctioned to remain in the U.S. and is asked to no longer intervene in matters of international disputes.
The President of the U.S. (Holly Hunter), who was leading the UN Congressional Hearing, receives a call from Lex Luthor requesting to meet her. Upon privately meeting with Lex, who is a charming, highly respected businessman and philanthropist (at the time Bryan Cranston or Joaquin Phoenix was being eyed for the role), he offers the president access to Kryptonian technology that would weaken Superman in the event he becomes a threat to national security. Lex shares with the President the existence of terraformed crystals found in the Indian Ocean capable of weakening and easily destroying Zod’s corpse body. Interestingly, the President wants nothing to do with utilizing the Kryptonian technology and terraformed rocks, stating that she thinks Superman is good, and that in the wrong hands, such technology can be used for evil. Lex disagrees and the two argue over power and the responsibility of holding power. Lex is angered that the President appears to care less about having technology that would protect the country from an alien and leaves the president with a warning. He taunts her for not being fit as a leader, and states that she is jeopardizing humankind by not taking advantage of his offer.
Scenes between Clark and Lois follow. Clark ponders how someone powerful as he can ignore suffering in a world when he feels he can intervene. Lois encourages him to stay good and not grow weary, that there is still good left in the world, and that he should be the hope that this world needs. During this scene, a news alert is shown on television, and the terrorist group from the beginning of the movie warns the U.S.A. of imminent attack for letting Superman, an “American hero”, intervene in Africa.
The scene changes to Gotham city bay, and the KGBeast is introduced with a group of representatives from the same terrorists introduced earlier in the movie. A transaction involving a small box of crystals occur. Apparently, it will be revealed later that the box contains weapons of mass destruction in the form of the terraformed crystals; alluded to earlier by Lex. The “Kryptonite” apparently can wield enough power that, when detonated, can be almost like a nuclear bomb. Additionally, members of the terrorist group have already infiltrated Gotham and will use these rocks as bombs to wreck havoc; beginning in Gotham City. KGBeast, who has been hired by the terrorist group, takes said army of terrorists to infiltrate Wayne Enterprises. They kill innocent bystanders, kidnap hostages, and detonate a bomb using a Kryptonite crystal; thereby destroying Wayne Enterprises. Apparently the original script has Lucius Fox dying, and news of this gets to Bruce Wayne, who in the script appears to have been thought dead for a few years.
The death of Lucius and the destruction of Wayne Enterprises gets Batman out of retirement and he begins to investigate the cause of the attack. In time, with the help of Alfred, he discovers where the KGBeast and the terrorists are hiding. He dons the Batman costume, a more primitive looking one, and only with a few gadgets. He defeats the terrorists, but not before the KGBeast escapes with the box of kryptonite.
Batman finds a way to contact Superman, and the two meet to discuss the recent terrorist attacks in Africa and Gotham City. Batman informs Superman that he had been a crime fighter many years ago, and that Superman still has a lot to learn. Comedy moment occurs when Batman tells Superman he knows he is Clark Kent, and Superman returns the favor by calling him Bruce. When Superman asks Batman how he knew, Batman said he had his ways. The two leave as friends.
The scene cuts to Lexcorp where the Kryptonian suit, as worn by Zod in 'Man of Steel' is being reproduced in high quantities. Luther’s scientists test them, and they show tremendous power – especially when powered by Kryptonite. One suit in particular has Kryptonite and will be worn later by the KGBeast, who in a way will also act as this movie’s “Metallo.”
Lex leaves the laboratory only to meet privately with the KGBeast. It is revealed that it was Lex who earlier sold the terrorists the Kryptonite crystals that was used to destroy Wayne Enterprises. They discuss their mutual partnership, and Lex reveals his motivations: 1) He wanted Wayne Enterprises knocked off from being competition to his technology empire and 2) He believes the U.S. President is unfit to lead for her refusal to take his offer earlier. He coldly makes the statement that any leader who willfully allows an “alien” to run uncontrolled should be removed from any position of power. KGBeast is promised a package of the “super-suits.” He informs Lex he plans to attack Washington D.C. and kill the President of the United States for him. Lex thinks it’s a good way to test his super suits.
Tensions mount as an attack on Washington D.C. is shown by the now super-powered KGBeast (Metallo revamped), along with a group of terrorists wearing the Kryptonian armor. KGBeast goes straight for the White House and kidnaps the President along with other government officials. This gets the attention of the world, including our heroes. The terrorists wrecks havoc with their Kryptonian armor, destroying monuments, the Capitol building, etc. The pair of heroes arrive; Superman in flight, and Batman in his jet. Together they begin to fight the superpowered terrorists. Batman’s jet is destroyed in the process, and when he comes out, it is revealed he has a power armor of his own with newer gadgets — big bad ass moment for Batman! The two heroes continue to fight the superpowered terrorists and ultimately defeat them. Superman and Batman partner to take down the KGBeast. Batman was left with the task of rescuing the President, while Superman fights the super-powered KGBeast. During this fight, Superman discovers that the KGBeast’s armor is specifically powered with a large kryptonite rock. Superman gets brutally beaten up during this fight, and requires Batman’s help, who too gets pretty beat up by the superpowered terrorist. The two heroes work together to somehow distract the enemy and dislodge the kryptonite rock that powers his suit. A grappling gun is used by Batman to tie up the KGBeast, and while tied up, Superman manages to use human level strength to take down the bad guy. The KGBeast is taken to prison, but prior to being questioned, he is murdered.
As the movie begins to close, you see Batman and Superman talking yet again. Superman hands Batman a box, and inside is kryptonite. Superman asks Batman to have it and to use it if ever he felt the need to be put down. The camera backs up and you see inside a big office a quiet Lex Luthor who is watching the two heroes talking from afar. He puts on a ring of what appears to be ladened with green kryptonite. As the closing music begins to play, the news on television reveals that the President of the U.S. had just been assassinated. Movie ends.

It’s definitely much more of an uplifting film. Jimmy Olsen lives, there’s no Justice League set up, no corny “Martha” moment, and no Doomsday. This seems like the direction Zack Snyder should’ve taken it, but we’re left with what we got. It’s was a lot of fun to watch, but there was no substance to the story or characters.

Batshit Crazy Rumored Plot Details for STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII

0
0

POSSIBLE MAJOR SPOILERS!!!

Some rumored plot details for Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: Episode VIII have surfaced online, and if they are true, this is absolutely insane. There’s no doubt it will piss a lot of fans off, but I’m sure there are some that will embrace it as well.

Mind you, this is just a rumor that was found on Reddit. Regardless, it makes for some intriguing and fun reading. The movie is currently in production, so it’s not that far-fetched to think that some legit information from the film could leak out at this point.

The information goes into a lot of detail, so if it is fake, a lot of work was put into it. If you want to learn about what could be in store for Episode VIII… proceed. But again, take this with a grain of salt! As of right now, this is just something that is fun to read and talk about. One thing is for sure, I don’t think anyone saw this coming.

Here you go!

The backstory to Luke and his Jedi being wiped out is that Snoke seduced Kylo and a few of the other students to the dark side and tasked them with killing everyone. Luke and a few others survived, including a young Rey who was subsequently dumped on Jakku by Luke.

Rey's mom died in the attack.

Rey is pissed at Luke because she guesses that he was her father and is angry at him for abandoning her. Luke turns to her and says "No, you are my father".

Yes, really.

Rey is the reincarnation of Anakin Skywalker. Luke went to the first Jedi temple to better understand how the process works. He learned that the spirit of the chosen one is reincarnated by the Force every time the universe is thrown out of balance, which apparently happens on a semi-regular basis (Anakin was hardly the first time the chosen one reincarnated). This is why she's so crazy powerful with the Force (remember that Anakin blew up the Trade Federation donut ship by himself when he was like 8 years old).

Rey was the product of a virgin birth, but midichlorians aren't mentioned (Luke says "you are a child of the Force").

Luke is hesitant to train her because, according to Jedi history, the chosen one always struggles with staying on the light side of the Force because of the chaotic power running through them. He's afraid that she could become Vader 2.0. If he trains her to fight Kylo, and she turns dark, she would do way more damage to the galaxy than Kylo could ever dream of doing.

He ultimately trains her anyway and leaves everything up to the Force. He makes this decision in a scene where he confers with the ghosts of Obi-Wan and Yoda (Ewan McGregor and Frank Oz come back).

Rey learns lightsaber skills, Force skills, and has a vision quest thing where she talks with Maz Kanata (unsure if it’s telepathy or just a dream) and Hayden Christenson. The latter tells her that she is him, but different, and there’s a quick scene where we see hundreds of other Force ghosts who are implied to be past chosen ones.

You can read more potential information here. Do you like the ideas that are presented here, and do you think it makes sense to do this in the Star Wars universe? Hit us up in the comment section below!

BLADE RUNNER 2 Casts KNOCK KNOCK Actress Ana De Armas

Director Denis Villeneuve (Sicario) and producer Ridley Scott have cast Knock Knock actress Ana De Armas in one of the lead female roles in Blade Runner 2. She joins Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, and Robin Wright in the highly anticipated sequel.

The film takes place several decades after the original film, which was set in the dystopian future of 2019 Los Angeles. There's no information on who exactly she'll be playing in the film. I wasn't the biggest fan of the movie Knock Knock in which she played a psycho chick, but it will be interesting to see who she ends up playing in this movie. There aren't really any details on the story at this pointm but Scott previously described the opening of the film like this:

"We decided to start the film off with the original starting block of the original film. We always loved the idea of a dystopian universe, and we start off at what I describe as a ‘factory farm’ – what would be a flat land with farming. Wyoming. Flat, not rolling – you can see for 20 miles. No fences, just plowed, dry dirt. Turn around and you see a massive tree, just dead, but the tree is being supported and kept alive by wires that are holding the tree up. It’s a bit like Grapes of Wrath, there’s dust, and the tree is still standing. By that tree is a traditional, Grapes of Wrath-type white cottage with a porch. Behind it at a distance of two miles, in the twilight, is this massive combine harvester that’s fertilizing this ground. You’ve got 16 Klieg lights on the front, and this combine is four times the size of this cottage. And now a spinner [a flying car] comes flying in, creating dust. Of course, traditionally chased by a dog that barks, the doors open, a guy gets out and there you’ve got Rick Deckard. He walks in the cottage, opens the door, sits down, smells stew, sits down and waits for the guy to pull up to the house to arrive. The guy’s seen him, so the guy pulls the combine behind the cottage and it towers three stories above it, and the man climbs down from a ladder – a big man. He steps onto the balcony and he goes to Harrison’s side. The cottage actually [creaks]; this guy’s got to be 350 pounds. I’m not going to say anything else – you’ll have to go see the movie."

Blade Runner 2 hits theaters on Oct. 6, 2017.

Jon Favreau’s Thoughts on Marvel Replacing Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man

0
0

When Robert Downey Jr.’s contract was coming to an end with Marvel there was a lot of talk about if Marvel would replace him with another actor. Even Kevin Feige at one point said that they would consider replacing him just like the actor playing James Bond has been replaced several times over the years.

At this point, it's really hard to imagine anyone else stepping in the shoes of Tony Stark, and I don’t think it would work at all. The studio just needs to keep getting Downey Jr. on board to be in these films until they retire the character or kill him off. While talking to IGN about this, Jon Favreau explained that why he doesn’t think Marvel should replace him:

“I can’t imagine how they could but that doesn’t mean that they can’t. I just can’t wrap my head around that one. To me he’s the one element that has unified all of it, and I think kept a consistent tone, and the integrity of his acting ability and his talent really works wonderfully synergistically with the Marvel universe. I think that his personality is something which helps define it. That being said, nothing would surprise me, but for me it would be a hard pill to swallow and big shoes to fill.”

I agree 100%. What do you think about Favreau’s opinion and casting a new Iron Man?

Pamela Anderson Joins Dwayne Johnson in BAYWATCH Movie

Pamela Anderson is set to appear in the upcoming Baywatch with Dwayne Johnson and Zack Efron. I was wondering if she would make a cameo in the film because she was such a huge part in making the original series successful. She played C.J. Parker in the series, a character that is now being played by Kelly Rohrbach. Johnson released the following statement with the photo above on Instagram:

“She introduced the world to ‘CJ Parker’ and became one of the most iconic characters of a generation – for the most successful TV show of all time. A pleasure to welcome (as gorgeous as ever) Pamela Anderson to our #Baywatch cast. We couldn’t have made this movie without you. Welcome home. Thrilled you had a blast with us!”

There's no on word who exactly she'll be playing in the film, but I'm sure it will be a fun cameo just like they gave David Hasselhoff. It's pretty cool that director Seth Gordon and the team are bringing back these actors who made the original series such a big hit.

The movie also stars Priyanka Chopra, Charlotte McKinney, Alexandra Daddario, Hannibal Buress, and Ilfenesh Hadera as Johnson’s love interest.

I got to see some of the first footage from the film at CinemaCon last week, and it looks a hilarious and fun movie that fans will enjoy. You can read the footage description from the footage screened here

Baywatch hits theaters on May 19th, 2017.

DOCTOR STRANGE Trailer Recreated Using Retro 1978 TV Movie

0
0

Marvel’s upcoming Doctor Strange film isn’t the first film about the Sorcerer Supreme. In 1978 there was a TV movie that starred Peter Hooten in the lead role. It’s such an awesomely terrible movie that you should watch one day just to say you’ve seen it. Anyway, YouTube user Darth Blender made a psychedelic mashup trailer for the original film using the audio from the first trailer for the upcoming movie. The result is pure magic.

You are certainly aware of the upcoming movie with Cumberbatch leading Dr. Stephen Strange’s role. But in the 70’s culture was far more dizzy – as well of music and movies! The 1978 version made for TV brings us this story about a psychiatrist that becomes the new Sorcerer Supreme of the Earth in order to battle an evil Sorceress from the past.

Epic New Trailer for INDEPENDENCE DAY: RESURGENCE

An epic and action-packed new trailer has been released for Independence Day: Resurgence, and this movie looks like it going to be an absolute blast! The new trailer is loaded with tons of new footage that you aren't going to want to miss. The story takes place 20 years after the events of the first film, and the aliens are stronger, bigger, and more brutal, and they're looking for revenge. Oh! It's also Earth Day, and I included an Earth Day PSA for the movie with Jeff Goldblum.

We always knew they were coming back.  After INDEPENDENCE DAY redefined the event movie genre, the next epic chapter delivers global spectacle on an unimaginable scale.  Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet.  But nothing can prepare us for the aliens' advanced and unprecedented force.  Only the ingenuity of a few brave men and womencan bring our world back from the brink of extinction.

The sequel was directed by Roland Emmerich ,and it also stars Liam Hemsworth, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox, Brent Spiner, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe, and Sela Ward.

The movie will be released on June 24th, 2016

Trailer for the PET SEMATARY Documentary UNEARTHED & UNTOLD: THE PATH TO PET SEMATARY

trailer-for-the-pet-sematary-documentary-unearthed-untold-the-path-to-pet-sematary

Stephen King’s Pet Sematary might just be one of the most terrifying films that I’ve seen. Even to this day, when I watch the film it freaks me the fuck out. I saw this movie for the first time when I was around 10 or 11 years old, and I couldn’t sleep for months! At night as I lay in bed I just stared at the black dark corner of my room waiting for Zelda to come crawling out and run over to my bed screaming at me. Because of that, it’s one of my favorite horror films ever!

If you’re a fan of the 1989 movie, there’s a documentary out that was created by Terror Films called Unearthed & Untold: The Path of Pet Sematary. It features interviews with the cast and crew talking about their experiences on making the movie, and it also gives us a behind the scenes look at the making of the classic film.

5 YEARS IN THE MAKING - Terror Films is proud to present UNEARTHED & UNTOLD: THE PATH TO PET SEMATARY, a documentary about one of the most iconic films ever made!
The documentary features interviews with the Cast, Director, Casting Director, Key Crew, Town's People and many more. The documentary includes Never-Before-Seen footage from the sets in Maine, a personal interview with the Documentary filmmakers, a Fan appreciation sizzle reel, unseen concept art and much, much more.

Filmmakers John Campopiano and Justin White said in a statement:

“When we first set out for Maine nearly six years ago we thought, at most, we would take some photographs of the filming locations from Stephen King’s Pet Sematary and post them to social media. But upon that very first visit we knew that we had stumbled upon something special — stories, people, and places that had been barely documented for the extensive, global horror fan community. We knew within that first year that we needed to go back to Maine and continue to dig, not just to satisfy our own curiosities but also to try and bring an in-depth making of story about Pet Sematary to others who also share a deep appreciation for the film.”

The film is currently available for pre-order DVD here if you want to buy it. I can’t wait to watch this.

Incredibly Fun 360 Degree Sci-Fi Short Film About a Stranded Alien on Earth — HELP

0

incredibly-fun-360-degree-short-film-about-a-stranded-alien-on-earth-help

I've got an awesomely entertaining short film for you to play with today called Help. It tells the fun and crazy story of an alien who crash lands in Los Angeles during a meteor shower and wrecks havoc on the city. The short was directed by Fast and Furious director Justin Lin.

One of the coolest things about this short is that it's told in a 360-degree environment and you can look around at what is going on in the story by moving your cursor on the video player.

Our first live action story takes place in the middle of downtown Los Angeles, where a meteor shower has left a deep scar on the streets of Chinatown. Panic, fear and an alien sends a young woman scrambling to escape.
