It definitely looks like a movie that is going to provide all kinds of insanely fun entertainment. We have two different reviews up on the site that you can read right now if you haven't already. The first comes from Ben who didn't like it, and the other comes from Mick who absolutely loved it! I haven't seen it myself yet, but I can't freakin' wait!

Paramount Pictures has released a Super Bowl spot for the mysterious J.J. Abrams-produced film 10 Cloverfield Lane. This new spot offers additional details regarding the story, including a decent amount of dialogue. We didn't really have much to go off of in the first teaser that was released, but this shows us how exactly Mary Elizabeth Winstead's character ends up in John Goodman's fallout shelter with John Gallagher Jr.

In a previous interview, Winstead said, “It’s so much about just the actors interacting with each other and that tension that builds, just all wondering if they are who they say the are, if they’re telling the truth or not, and really wondering what’s outside.”

For those of you who were wondering how much of a Cloverfield movie this actually is, and if there will be any monsters in it, this spot has that answer for you. 10 Cloverfield Lane comes out on March 11th!

"We made the perfect weapon."

The Super Bowl movie trailers continue to roll in, and now we have been treated to a surprise first look at Jason Bourne, the fifth movie in the Bourne action-thriller franchise! Matt Damon is back, and he's once again kicking some major ass. Paul Greengrass also returned to direct the film, and from what I've seen in this spot, it looks like it's going to be awesome!

The film follows the CIA’s most lethal former operative being drawn out of the shadows. I honestly never thought I'd see this happen. For years, Damon and Greengrass didn't seem interested in doing this movie, but they obviously found a story for this next chapter that they felt needed to be told.

Damon is joined by Alicia Vikander, Vincent Cassel and Tommy Lee Jones, while Julia Stiles reprises her role in the series. Jason Bourne drops into theaters July 29th.

Disney just dropped a new full trailer for Jon Favreau's The Jungle Book and it's absolutely amazing. This is the best trailer that I've seen for the film so far. It features lots of great new footage and it completely captures the spirit of the original animated film that we all know and love. This trailer actually managed to tug on my emotions a bit and get me a little choked up. Of course, you have to understand that this was one of my favorite animated movies to watch when I was a kid, and seeing it brought to life in such a perfect way like this is freakin' exciting! It's that bare necessities song that gets me!

“The Jungle Book” is an all-new live-action epic adventure about Mowgli (newcomer Neel Sethi), a man-cub who’s been raised by a family of wolves. But Mowgli finds he is no longer welcome in the jungle when fearsome tiger Shere Khan (voice of Idris Elba), who bears the scars of Man, promises to eliminate what he sees as a threat. Urged to abandon the only home he’s ever known, Mowgli embarks on a captivating journey of self-discovery, guided by panther-turned-stern mentor Bagheera (voice of Ben Kingsley), and the free-spirited bear Baloo (voice of Bill Murray). Along the way, Mowgli encounters jungle creatures who don’t exactly have his best interests at heart, including Kaa (voice of Scarlett Johansson), a python whose seductive voice and gaze hypnotizes the man-cub, and the smooth-talking King Louie (voice of Christopher Walken), who tries to coerce Mowgli into giving up the secret to the elusive and deadly red flower: fire. The all-star cast also includes Lupita Nyong'o as the voice of the fiercely protective mother wolf Raksha, and Giancarlo Esposito as the voice of wolf pack’s alpha male Akela. “The Jungle Book” seamlessly blends live-action with photorealistic CGI animals and environments, using up-to-the-minute technology and storytelling techniques to immerse audiences in an enchanting and lush world.

The wild adventure swings into theaters in 3D on April 15th, 2016.

This new Super Bowl spot continues to build the excitement and hype for Roland Emmerich's Independence Day: Resurgence. All the footage that has been released so far has been awesome and I can't wait to see how the story for this sequel plays out. This latest spot is full of action, chaos, and complete destruction. It's exactly what you'd expect to see from an Independence Day film!

We always knew they were coming back. After INDEPENDENCE DAY redefined the event movie genre, the next epic chapter delivers global spectacle on an unimaginable scale. Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet. But nothing can prepare us for the aliens’ advanced and unprecedented force. Only the ingenuity of a few brave men and women can bring our world back from the brink of extinction.

The movie stars Liam Hemsworth, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox, Brent Spiner, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jessie Usher, Maika Monroe, and Sela Ward, and the new entry in the franchise will be released on June 24th!

Marvel and Coca-Cola joined forces to bring fans an epic Super Bowl commercial that features Hulk and Ant-Man fighting over a can of Coke. This was easily one of the most entertaining commercials that I saw during the big game. I love that it features the biggest and smallest characters from the Marvel cinematic universe getting in a crazy little battle with each other.

Two thirsty heroes. Only one Coca-Cola Mini. Witness an epic chase between Marvel’s biggest and smallest Super Heroes: the Incredible Hulk and Astonishing Ant-Man. Despite their differences in size, Hulk and Ant-Man both know what it’s like to get thirsty. But when there's just one #CokeMini left in the fridge, who will prevail?

"Everything they've built will fall!"

Damn! We've seen a lot of impressive trailers tonight during the Super Bowl for some of the most anticipated films coming out this year and the streak continues with Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse. As you'll see in the trailer, this movie promises to be the biggest and most epic X-Men movie yet. This short spot is packed to the brim with chaotic mayhem and beautiful destructive imagery.

Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshipped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

Returning cast members also include Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Evan Peters as Quicksilver, Lucas Till as Havok, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, and reportedly Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. The film will also feature newcomers Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler, Lana Condor as Jubilee, Ben Hardyas Angel, and Olivia Munn as Psylocke, and Oscar Isaac as Apocalypse.

The movie hits theaters on May 27th, 2016.

In case you missed it yesterday, the Super Bowl spot for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows has been released online. It's loaded with lots of wild new action-packed footage, and it also offers us our first look at the villain Krang. It looks like they actually stayed pretty close to the source material this time around, which is surprising. Does it mean I'm excited for the movie? No. The first film was just so damn terrible. Maybe this sequel will be better, though. I'll just proceed with caution. I know a lot of people are surprisingly excited for this movie. I wasn't expecting that.

Alan Ritchson, Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek, and Noel Fisher will reprise their roles as Raphael, Donatello, Leonardo, and Michelangelo. Johnny Knoxville is providing the voice of Leonardo again. The movie also sees the return of Megan Fox as April O'Neil, Will Arnett as Vernon Fenwick, and William Fichtner as Eric Sacks. Some of the newcomers include Tyler Perry as scientist Baxter Stockman, WWE Star Sheamus as Rocksteady, Gary Anthony Williams as Bebop, Brittany Ishibashi as Karai, Stephen Amell as Casey Jones, and Brian Tee as Shredder.

The movie was directed by Earth to Echo‘s David Green, and it will be released on June 3rd, 2016.

Ryan Reynolds and T.J. Miller Want a DEADPOOL VS. WOLVERINE Movie

If Deadpool is successful at the box office, you can bet that Fox is going to move forward with a sequel, and possibly have the character crossover into other films. They’d be stupid not to.

Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds and T.J. Miller recently did an interview with MTV, and when asked who they’d like to see Deadpool share the screen with, they both said they’d love to see a Deadpool vs. Wolverine movie. Well duh, who the hell wouldn’t want to see that?! Probably Fox, which is why it will never happen.

Both actors are very aware that this crossover film will probably never happen, but you can’t stop the fanboys and fangirls from dreaming. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know that Deadpool already fought Wolverine in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but we all know damn well that movie doesn’t count for shit.

Here’s the video of Reynolds and Miller sharing their excitement about a Deadpool Vs. Wolverine movie, courtesy of MTV International.

Two Faux BATMAN V SUPERMAN Travel Commercials for Metropolis and Gotham City

We’ve got two Super Bowl commercials here for Turkish Airlines that tie into Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The commercials are promoting travel to Gotham City and Metropolis. They also feature appearances by Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. If you keep an eye out, you might spot a few Easter eggs, including one for Ace Chemicals. They offer us a good look at the design of Gotham City and what Metropolis looks like after being rebuilt after the total destruction of the battle between Superman and Zod. I’d sure love to visit these cities if they actually existed!

DeLorean Releases First Commercial for Their New DMC-12 Car

Last week we learned that the DeLorean Motor Company was going to put the classic 1982 DMC-12 car back into production. The car was made famous thanks to Robert Zemeckis' film Back to the Future, and the new car is going to have the exact same design as the car from the 80s.

Today we have the first commercial for the DeLorean to share with you. It’s called “Lucky Coin,” and it definitely builds the excitement that the care is making a comeback!

DMC is building about 300 cars that will retail for $100,000. The exterior will be stainless steel and will resemble the same shape and design that made original so iconic. However, the engine, tires, and in-car electronics will be upgraded. DMC said:

"Another area that will see significant upgrades is the in-car entertainment and connectivity. The original DeLorean came with a four-speaker, AM/FM cassette player – standard fare for 1981, but not today. For years we have been upgrading this part of the car through our service and restoration work, and we’ll continue to push that envelope as much as we can. A modern, improved HVAC system has also already been tested and is planned for these cars, as well."

I’m looking forward to seeing how this turns out. Hopefully someone I know buys one so I can take it for a test drive!

DEADPOOL Confirmed to Have 2 Post-Credits Scenes

Last week, Fox held several press screenings for the new Deadpool film coming out this week, and since then we've seen lots of positive reviews of the movie from Deadpool fans (And the occasional negative review).

Apparently, the press didn't get the full movie going experience, though! They were only shown one post-credits sequence, but it has recently been confirmed that there are actually two! The second scene will only be attached to the theatrical cut of the film.

The news first came from Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld, who posted the following comment on Twitter.

Deadpool director Tim Miller called the post-credits scenes "codas," which Is a term I've never heard before in regards to these post-credits scenes. One of the film's co-writers also confirmed the news on his Twitter feed, saying:

So there you go! Make sure to stick around after the credits to watch even more Deadpool greatness!

Film Jackets is coming through once again for anyone who's looking to be extra fly on their way to the Deadpool premiere, or in life in general. This jacket looks just like the suit in the film, and at $119 dollars, it's about the price of a regular leather jacket! I really liked the version of Finn's jacket they designed, but I might go with this one to get more bang for my buck. Get one right here.

GODS OF EGYPT Super Bowl Spot - "Bow Before Me or Die"

$

Director Alex Proyas has made some solidly good films in his day, like The Crow and Dark City. I know the guy has got some talent, but since Dark City he hasn’t picked up any directing gigs that have turned out to be great films. When I first heard about Gods of Egypt I was excited that it might be an awesome film that Proyas could develop. Unfortunately, it looks like another lackluster, disappointing movie.

The movie boasts an impressive cast that includes Gerard Butler as Set, the god of the desert; Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Horus, the god of the sky; Brenton Thwaites as Bek, the thief of legend; Chadwick Boseman as Thoth, the god of Wisdom; Elodie Yung as Hathor, the goddess of love; and Abby Lee as Zaya, the beauty of the Nile.

It’s hard to think that with a cast like this you could come up with something that looks so ridiculous. There’s a ton of special effect work that went into developing this movie, but what does it matter if there’s a weak script and story?

In this spectacular action-adventure inspired by the classic mythology of Egypt, the survival of mankind hangs in the balance as an unexpected mortal hero Bek [Brenton Thwaites] undertakes a thrilling journey to save the world and rescue his true love. In order to succeed, he must enlist the help of the powerful god Horus [Nikolaj Coster-Waldau] in an unlikely alliance against Set [Gerard Butler], the merciless god of darkness, who has usurped Egypt’s throne, plunging the once peaceful and prosperous empire into chaos and conflict.  As their breathtaking battle against Set and his henchmen takes them into the afterlife and across the heavens, both god and mortal must pass tests of courage and sacrifice if they hope to prevail in the epic final confrontation.

The movie also stars Geoffrey Rush, Rufus Sewell, and Courtney Eaton. Gods of Egypt is set to be released in theaters on February 26th, 2016.

Marvel concept artist Josh Nizzi released these two unused versions of Matt Murdock’s Daredevil costume from the Netflix series. I like the different looks of each of the designs, and it’s interesting to see what we could have seen Daredevil wear in the series. I really like the more classic, fully red costume, but I like the final design used in the series more. That seemed to work perfectly for what they were looking to accomplish in the series. What do you think of these designs?

2-alternate-daredevil-costume-designs-and-new-promo-for-season-21

I also included a brief new promo spot for Daredevil that teases the introduction of The Punisher. As the screen fades to black near the end, The Punisher, aka Frank Castle, can be heard cocking his gun and then he says, "Bang!" It’s not much, but it’s enough to tide us over until we see something more.

Just when Matt thinks he is bringing order back to the city, new forces are rising in Hell’s Kitchen. Now the Man Without Fear must take on a new adversary in Frank Castle and face an old flame – Elektra Natchios. Bigger problems emerge when Frank Castle, a man looking for vengeance, is reborn as The Punisher, a man who takes justice into his own hands in Matt’s neighborhood. Meanwhile, Matt must balance his duty to his community as a lawyer and his dangerous life as the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen, facing a life-altering choice that forces him to truly understand what it means to be a hero.

Daredevil season two arrives on Netflix March 18, 2016.

I know we saw a lot of movie trailers during the Super Bowl yesterday, but personally, I think Jason Bourne stole the show. Jeremy Renner is out, and Matt Damon is back in. Today, we see the poster for the film with the no-nonsense tagline "You Know His Name." I have to say I absolutely love the hint of the direction it looks like they are taking this film. Everything is Bourne, but bigger. Did anyone else get chills when they heard "Extreme Ways"?!

Get Hyped For JUSTICE LEAGUE With This Fan-Made Trailer

I know I may be putting the cart before the horse when I say I'm hype for the Justice League movie, but I can't help it. It's been teased for soooo long that even if Batman v Superman is the biggest pile of garbage, I'm still going to see it. Whiplash Dynamo gets me and sent this hype fan trailer for the film. Watching his trailer got me wondering, are we going to see a Hall of Justice in this film? I'm assuming this will be an origins story, so probably not, but I'd like at least a glimpse!

OLDBOY Director Park Chan-wook to Direct the Sci-Fi Film GENOCIDAL ORGAN

If you're a fan of director Chan Park-wook, you'll be happy to hear that he has set up another directing gig. The Korean director will develop an adaptation of the 2007 Japanese sci-fi novel Genocidal Organ. The book was written by Project Itoh, and the news comes from The Tracking Board. Here's a brief description of the story:

Set in a time when Sarajevo was obliterated by a homemade nuclear device, the story reflects a world inundated with genocide. An American man by the name of John Paul seems to be responsible for all of this and intelligence agent Clavis Shepherd treks across the wasteland of the world to find him and the eponymous "genocidal organ."

This sounds like the perfect film project for Chan-wook to take on. There are no details surrounding the adaptation, but Sean Daniel and his production company, The Sean Daniel Company, are set to produce it.

I love Chan-wook's visual storytelling and directing style. He is best known for his Vengeance Trilogy, which consists of Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance, Oldboy, and Sympathy for Lady Vengeance. He also made the fascinating vampire film Thirst and his first English-speaking feature film, Stoker, which was incredible.

Chan-wook is currently directing a Korean version of Sarah Waters’s novel Fingersmith and is also attached to direct a western called The Brigands of Rattleborge. So we've got three great films coming from this talented director over the next few years!

An animated adaptation of this novel was developed, but it has yet to be released. It's supposed to be released later this year.

I always have mad respect for people who immortalize their geekdom on their bodies. Sleeves of Mario levels are always impressive, Triforce wrist tattoos, but I've never seen anything on this level! This fan on Reddit posted the progress on her Spirited Away tattoo that takes up her entire back...and it's insanely impressive. I can't even imagine the amount of time, pain, and money you have to go through to get that much done...and then to hear they are going to fill it in?! She's tougher than me.
