21 JUMP STREET Directing Duo To Conjure CARTER BEATS THE DEVIL

$

21 Jump Street is one of the most pleasant surprises of the 2012 film landscape so far. Much of the film's success should be attributed to its directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller, who seamlessly made the transition from animation with Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs into live action. The co-directors are hard at work on a LEGO movie as we speak, but The Hollywood Reporter says they've got another project brewing as well.

The duo is now in talks to direct Carter Beats The Devil, another in a long line of magician movies put in development over the past few years. But this project has been in development hell for a while now, and big names like Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp were once linked to the starring role before it sputtered out and fell by the wayside. Now, with the juice from 21 Jump Street, Lord and Miller are looking to pull this magical project out of the proverbial hat once more.

The fictional story is set in the 1920s and follows a daring illusionist who stages an elaborate trick for President Warren G. Harding. But when Harding dies soon afterwards, Carter is forced to go on the lam to clear his name, all the while battling an archnemesis and encountering other real-life historical figures. Sounds like an awesome story - I really dig magic movies, especially after Nolan's The Prestige - and I can't wait to see what two energetic guys like Lord and Miller can do to adapt Glen David Gold's successful book to the big screen.

Put on your fantasy casting hats, readers - who would you like to see take on the title role of the magician? (Cruise and Depp are off the table, since they're no longer attached.)

Chris Columbus to Adapt John Grisham's CALICO JOE

Chris Columbus (Harry Potter) has picked up the rights to John Grisham's novel,Calico Joe, a coming of age story based around the sport of baseball, "about fathers and sons, forgiveness and redemption." Columbus will both write and direct the adaptation. Columbus had this to say in a statement,

When I finished this beautiful, deeply moving novel, I immediately started to see the movie in my head. I knew that I had to write and directCalico Joe. The story deals with universal themes of betrayal, tragedy and redemption. It has the potential to be a classic film and I am honored to be a part of it.

I'm not a big fan of the sport of baseball, but for some reason I love movies that center around it. This sounds like a solid story that will make for a great film.

Here's the description from the book:

It began quietly enough with a pulled hamstring. The first baseman for the Cubs AAA affiliate in Wichita went down as he rounded third and headed for home. The next day, Jim Hickman, the first baseman for the Cubs, injured his back. The team suddenly needed someone to play first, so they reached down to their AA club in Midland, Texas, and called up a twenty-one-year-old named Joe Castle. He was the hottest player in AA and creating a buzz.

In the summer of 1973 Joe Castle was the boy wonder of baseball, the greatest rookie anyone had ever seen. The kid from Calico Rock, Arkansas dazzled Cub fans as he hit home run after home run, politely tipping his hat to the crowd as he shattered all rookie records.

Calico Joe quickly became the idol of every baseball fan in America, including Paul Tracey, the young son of a hard-partying and hard-throwing Mets pitcher. On the day that Warren Tracey finally faced Calico Joe, Paul was in the stands, rooting for his idol but also for his Dad. Then Warren threw a fastball that would change their lives forever…

Breaking Bad returns for its fifth and final season on July 15th, and today we bring you the first promo poster for the series. Walter is looking triumphantly calm and menacing in the poster. I can't wait to see where Walter ends up going from where we last saw him in season 4. It definitely doesn't seem like he'll be getting out of the drug business anytime soon. I can't wait to see what Walt's fate is. What do you think will happen to him?

Ridley Scott Developing MOSES Movie

Prometheus director Ridley Scott seems to have a ton of projects that he's developing. He most recently talked about a western he has in the works, then there's Blade Runner 2, The Counselor is about to start shooting, and now he's revealed that he also developing the biblical story of Moses as a feature film. Here's what he told Esquire in a recent interview,

I've got something else in the works. I'm already doing it. It's called 'Moses.' Seriously, seriously. It's going to happen. I probably shouldn't have let that slip out. I'm not supposed to say anything. It's definitely in the cards, though. What's interesting to me about Moses isn't the big stuff that everybody knows. It's things like his relationship with Ramses [II, the pharaoh]. I honestly wasn't paying attention in school when I was told the story of Moses. Some of the details of his life are extraordinary.

It's amazing to me that at the age of 74 Scott is still going strong, and it doesn't look like he's going to slow down anytime soon. I'll watch anything that he does, so if he plans on making a movie about Moses, you can bet your ass it's going to be good. The guy just has an awesome visual style with everything he does.

This isn't the only Moses project being developed though. Warner Bros. is working on one called Gods And Kings which Steven Spilerberg is supposed to direct. Then Fox also has one in development, but there's not much information on it at this time. There's a possibility that Scott is attached to the Fox project, as that's the studio he worked with on Prometheus. We'll find out soon enough what that story is behind this new Moses project.

What do you think about Scott making a film based on Moses?

ASSASSIN'S CREED 3 - Amazing New Trailer and Gameplay Demos E3 2012

Assassin's Creed 3 might just be at the top of my list of most anticipated games of the year. This game looks insanely awesome. I love everything that I've seen from it so far, and the stuff shown at the Ubisoft and Sony conferences absolutely blew me away!

The new trailer is so damn cool, and the gameplay stuff looks amazing! We even get a taste of some Naval warfare! The best part about this game for me is the new oldworld American setting.

The story is set between the years 1753 and 1783, when "the war between the Assassins and the Templars has moved to Colonial America. The player takes on the role of a young, half-English, half-Mohawk man named Connor Kenway, who is drawn into the fight against tyranny when his home is attacked by colonists. Over the course of the game, the player will encounter historical figures including George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, Charles Lee, Israel Putnam, General Lafayette, John Pitcairn, and William Prescott. The story will span 30 years of Connor's life. Boston and New York will be cities that you can explore with new quests and gameplay."

The highly anticipated game hits the PlayStation 3Xbox 360 and PC on October 30th. Check out the new E3 stuff below, and let us know what you think about the third chapter in this series.

A few days ago LucasArts officially announced their newest Star Wars video game Star Wars 1313, and today we have our first look at the game's cinematics and gameplay! LucasArts brought the game to E3 2012 to talked about it and showed off what they have so far. I've gotta say... it looks fantastic! Gamers will take on the role of a lethal Bounty Hunter, and according to the developer this is going to be a "darker" and "more mature" Star Wars experience. The clip and gameplay footage shown, give you a solid idea of what's in store for us. I think it looks pretty badass. Here's the previously released description...

As players take control of a lethal bounty hunter in a never-before-seen dark and mature world, Star Wars 1313 introduces an integrated development approach by bringing together great artists across the Lucasfilm organization, including LucasArts, Industrial Light & Magic, Lucasfilm Animation Ltd. and Skywalker Sound. A third person cinematic action adventure game, Star Wars 1313 will bring to life the Coruscant underworld, the most dangerous place in the Star Wars™ galaxy.

Named for Level 1313, a ruthless criminal underground deep below the surface of the planet of Coruscant, the game puts players in control of a deadly bounty hunter as he uses an arsenal of exotic weaponry to hunt down his marks and uncover the truth surrounding a criminal conspiracy.  Star Wars 1313 emphasizes epic set pieces and fast-paced combat with a hero who uses human skills and gadgets, rather than supernatural Force powers, to make his way through this dangerous world.

There's a little Q & A in the video below between the host Geoff Keighley and the developer of the game, but you can skip to 0:50 for the first clip, and then 2:00 and 3:00 to see the gameplay action.

I'm excited about this game, and I can't wait to be able to actually play it! It looks like the game will bring happiness and joy to Star Wars fans. Check out the footage below, and let us know what you think about what you see!

The trailer for Disney's new CGI animated film Wreck-It Ralph is supposed to be released tomorrow. But, to tide you over until then, here's our first real look at the movie. It features the main character Ralph along with a ton of video game cameos. Click the image to enlarge it, and let us know if you can name all of the recognizable characters shown. You can check out some other images below.

The movie is scheduled to be released on November 2nd, and I think it's going to end up being a good one. As a fan of both movies and video games, this movie has potential to be a lot of fun. I like the story behind it, but we'll find out more tomorrow when the trailer is released!

Here's the synopsis:

Walt Disney Animation Studios and Emmy®-winning director Rich Moore (TV's "The Simpsons," "Futurama") take moviegoers on a hilarious, arcade-game-hopping journey in "Wreck-It Ralph." Ralph (voice of John C. Reilly, "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby," "Step Brothers") is tired of being overshadowed by Fix-It Felix (voice of Jack McBrayer, "30 Rock"), the "good guy" star of their game who always gets to save the day. But after decades doing the same thing and seeing all the glory go to Felix, Ralph decides he's tired of playing the role of a bad guy. He takes matters into his own massive hands and sets off on a game-hopping journey across the arcade through every generation of video games to prove he's got what it takes to be a hero.

On his quest, he meets the tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Jane Lynch, TV's "Glee") from the first-person action game Hero’s Duty. But it’s the feisty misfit Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Sarah Silverman, "The Sarah Silverman Program") from the candy-coated cart racing game, Sugar Rush, whose world is threatened when Ralph accidentally unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens the entire arcade. Will Ralph realize his dream and save the day before it’s too late?

WATCH DOGS - Trailer and Demo for Ubisoft's Awesome Hacker Epic

$

This new game from Ubisoft, Watch Dogs, came out of nowhere! I never expected Ubisoft to come up with something like this, but they did, and it looks awesome! The publisher revealed a great trailer for the game, and then showed some crazy cool gameplay footage. Not only does the game look great, but the story and content gives us something to really think about. So what exactly is Watch Dogs

Watch Dogs is set in Chicago, where players take control of a hacker named Aiden Pearce. Aiden uses (and hacks into) the interconnected information networks to make the modern world's electronic and computerized devices work to his advantage -- a "technomancer."

Using his abilities, he goes about locating and eradicating his enemies by lethal means, including use of jamming technology that can disable cell phones and even cause traffic accidents.

Jonathan Morin, Creative Director at Ubisoft, said in a statement:

Watch Dogs goes beyond the limits of today's open-world games by giving players the ability to control an entire city. In Watch Dogs, anything connected to the city's Central Operating System becomes a weapon. By pushing the boundaries, we can provide players with action and access to information on a scale that's never been seen in a video game before.

This game is going to be pretty epic. I love the concept, and it's a game I'm definitely excited about getting my hands on. Watch the trailer and gameplay demo, and let us know what you think of the game and what it entails! As of right now I'm still not sure what consols the game will be available on.

BLADE RUNNER 2 - Ridley Scott Describes a Scene from the Film

Blade Runner 2 is one of several projects that director Ridley Scott is currently developing. The movie is still in the early stages of development, but it's on it way to becoming a reality. Scott is excited enough about it to start sharing a few things that he has in mind for the film, and in a recent interview with Collider he goes as far as to describe a scene that he has in mind for the film.

There’ll be a vast farmland where there are no hedges or anything in sight, and it’s flat like the plains of—where’s the Great Plains in America? Kansas, where you can see for miles. And it’s dirt, but it’s being raked. On the horizon is a combine harvester which is futuristic with klieg lights, ‘cause it’s dawn. The harvester is as big as six houses. In the foreground is a small white clapboard hut with a porch as if it was from Grapes of Wrath. From the right comes a car, coming in about six feet off the ground being chased by a dog. And that’s the end of it, I’m not gonna tell you anything else.

I think that might just be the opening scene of the movie. That's what it sounds like Scott just gave us, which is pretty cool. It gives us a little taste of the awesome visual style that we will see in the movie, and gives us a bit of insight into what he's planning. For those of you who know Scott's work, then it's easy to imagine this scene being brought to life.

Watch Scott describe the scene below; it's a lot better than reading about it. Let us know what you think about the scene description!

THE DARK KNIGHT Opening Cut to Hitchcock's VERTIGO Score

Here's a great video that takes the opening bank heist sequence from The Dark Knight and adds in the haunting musical score from Alfred Hitchock's classic film Vertigo. It's eerily amazing to see how well these two things match up. It's like Nolan actually cut the film to this soundtrack. The video was created by YouTube user Plan9Pics, and here's what he had to say about it,

I was experimenting with editing movie trailers when I discovered that the opening music from Alfred Hitchcock's "Vertigo" happens to work perfectly with the opening "Bank Robbery Sequence" from Christopher Nolan's 2008 blockbuster "The Dark Knight". Watch closely, and you will notice that Bernard Herrmann's music queues line up almost flawlessly with Nolan's footage. Coincidence? We may never know...

Enjoy the video!

ZOMBIU - Cool Trailer for New British Zombie Game E3 2012

If you enjoy playing zombie games you're going to like this new trailer for the game ZombiU which is coming out on the Wii U. The basic point of the game is to survive the zombie infested streets of London.

Here's the synopsis:

Developed by Ubisoft Montpellier, ZombiU puts players in the middle of London circa 2012, where an outbreak has infected the population, destroying their humanity and turning them into mindless monsters preying on the flesh of the few remaining survivors. This fear-fueled first-person shooter takes all the terror, chaos and tension found in the best of the horror genre and adds original interactive elements, including a unique death mechanic that puts players in the body of a different survivor each time they die, allowing them to track and take down their old, infected characters, recover their equipment and see if they can stay alive just a little bit longer this time.

I enjoyed this trailer for the game, and I'm looking forward to seeing more from it. It's always fun killing zombies! The more real it is, the better.

IRON MAN 3 - Tony Stark Will Be Driving a $2 Million Dollar Car

Tony Stark always ends up with the coolest toys and the nicest cars. According to our friends at Latino Review, Stark will be driving around a 2014 Bugatti Veryron Hyper Sport in Iron Man 3, which has a price of of $2 million bucks. So now we know what Marvel is using their $200 million dollar budget for. I guess the Acura he's been driving around wasn't doing it for him so he traded it in for something a bit more badass.

Here are a few other details about the car:

The new model will also feature an all-new body said to be inspired by the original Bugatti Veyron concept of 1999. This concept was designed by the current head of Bugatti design, Walter de Silva – former SEAT head of design. The new car will have a top speed of 434km/h… in case the first edition wasn’t fast enough with its 408km/h top speed. The engine will be based on the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport’s 8.0-litre quad-turbo W16 motor, showcasing around 895kW of power and 1500Nm of torque.

Here's a picture of the car prototype, I'm sure it will end up looking a lot better in the movie. But this gives you an idea of the initial design. What do you think of Stark's new ride?

New X-MEN Movie May Feature Alternate Timeline Plot

$

0

I'm extremely excited about what Matthew Vaughn is planning for his sequel to X-Men: First Class. I loved the hell out of the first movie, and I have no doubt that the sequel will but just as awesome. At this point we know virtually nothing about the plot other than it would be a continuation of the story that we've already seen. We also know Fox has been working on a couple other X-Men movie ideas.

Something interesting has been spotted that might give us some insight on one of these X-Men films coming from Fox, and it involves an alternate timeline. The fine folks over at AICN got some intel that the studio recently registered the title Days of Future Past with the MPAA Tital Registration Bureau.

What does that mean? Well, if you are familiar with the X-Men comics you know there was a two-issue story arc published back in 1981. The story follows Kitty Pryde, who travels back in time to warn the present day X-Men that in the future Sentinels rule over the United States and all mutants are placed in internment camps. To stop the chain of events leading to that, the X-Men have to stop the Brotherhood from assassinating Senator Robert Kelly.

This may have nothing to do with the X-Men: First Class franchise, but it could end up being used for another X-Men reboot that the studio might be planning or for X-Men 4. Regardless, it's a cool storyline that could make for a great movie! I'd love to see finally see the Sentinals up on the big screen! What do you think about this storyline as a possible movie?

Here's the Plot from the comic:

The storyline alternates between present day, in which the X-Men fight Mystique's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, and a future timeline caused by the X-Men's failure to prevent the Brotherhood from assassinatingSenator Robert Kelly. In this future universe, Sentinels rule the United States, and mutants live in internment camps. The present-day X-Men are forewarned of the possible future by a future version of their teammateKitty Pryde, whose mind traveled back in time and possessed her younger self to warn the X-Men. She succeeds in her mission and returns to the future, but despite her success, the future timeline still exists as an alternative timeline rather than as the actual future.

Nolan Says THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Is the Biggest Epic Since the Silent Era

$

0

While talking about The Dark Knight Rises in a recent interview with Empire, director Christopher Nolan declared that "I think this is the biggest one I've done," and that it is also "The biggest one anyone's done since the silent era, in technical terms." He went on to explain that,

Shooting on IMAX, you wanna justify that we've put our resources more into what we were shooting on the day than computer graphics. It's not what you're used to seeing. I don't know when someone last did a film with 11,000 extras in a real environment. It is an escalation. You want things to be justifiably bigger and more extreme than what you've done in the last film. As long as the story supports that.

Nolan also discussed the epic scope of the film, and the movies that influenced him in making this final chapter in The Dark Knight saga.

It's all about historical epics in conception. It's a war film. It's a revolutionary epic. It's looking back to the grand-scale epics of the past, really, and for me that goes as far back as silent films. I've been watching a lot of silent films with my kids on Blu-Ray. We've shot over a third of the movie on the IMAX format, and that naturally puts you more in the mode of staging very large events for the camera. It's my attempt to get as close to making a Fritz Lang film as I could. It's also more in the mould of 'Doctor Zhivago,' or 'A Tale Of Two Cities,' which is a historical epic with all kinds of great storytelling taking place during the French Revolution. There's an attempt to visualise certain things in this film on this large scale that are troubling and genuinely to the idea of an American city. Or, to put it another way: revolutions and the destabilising of society have happened everywhere in the world, so why not here?"

Wow. How awesome is that! Knowing the kind of filmmaker that Nolan is though, it's not surprising. Fritz Lang is not only the man who made Metropolis, but he made a ton of other great films that are worth watching. Especially if you're a film buff.

The Dark Knight Rises opens up on July 20th, and I have no doubt that it's going to be an incredibly epic masterpiece. What do you think about what Nolan had to say here in this interview?

Is Marvel Developing THE BLACK PANTHER!?

$
0
0

As most of you already know there are two movies currently in development at Marvel that have yet to be revealed. I think it pretty obvious that one of them is The Avengers sequel, but what about the other one? There's been a lot of speculation that is could be either Ant-Man, Dr. Strange, or The Black Panther. For those of you who were hoping for a The Black Panther movie, it looks like you're in luck!

Our friends at Latino Review are reporting that Black Panther is one of the two Marvel movies that are in development. It will be the movie to fill the release date spot of May 16th, 2014, right after Captain America 2 comes out on April 16th, 2014.

Screenwriter Mark Bailey was brought on to write the script for the movie back in January of 2011, so it looks like things have been progressing since then. Latino Review said they've had four different sources confirm this news, but just to be safe let's go ahead and file this under rumor until we have more confirmation because Disney and Marvel aren't confirming it.

There have been a few nods to Black Panther in the Marvel films, like the fact that his home country Wakanda can be seen on a map in Iron Man 2, which also happens to be where the metal vibranium comes from, which is what Captain America’s shield is made out of.

Here's what I previously wrote up about the Iron Man 2 Easter egg:

In the Marvel universe Wakanda is a fictional African nation which is lead by a king named T’Challa, who eventually becomes The Black Panther when he comes to America. Another reason that Wakanda is so important is In the distant past, a massive meteorite made up of the sound-absorbing mineral vibranium crashed in Wakanda, and is unearthed a generation before the events of the present-day. So it has the large deposit of Vibranium, the metal used to help create a unique alloy Captain America’s shield along with Adamantium.

How does this apply to Iron Man 2? At the end of the film, once again at the S.H.I.E.L.D. safehouse where Stark is being debriefed there is a map in the background. The map is focused  on Africa and there was a red icon on the map that is pointing at the Wakanda.

If this does turn out to be true, I think it's great news! Black Panther is a badass. I was kind of hoping for Dr. Strange, but I'm happy with Black Panther as well. What do you think about Black Panther getting his own movie!? Who would you like to see play him?

Here's some information on the character:

The title “Black Panther” is a rank of office, chieftain of the Wakandan Panther Clan. As chieftain, the Panther is entitled to eat a special heart-shaped herb, as well as his mystical connection with the Wakandan Panther god, that grants him superhumanly acute senses and increases his strength, speed, stamina, and agility to the peak of human development. He has since lost this connection and forged a new one with another unknown Panther deity, granting him augmented physical attributes as well as a resistance to magic.

His senses are so powerful that he can pick up a prey’s scent and memorize tens of thousands of individual ones. T’Challa is a rigorously trained gymnast and acrobat, showing mastery in various African martial arts as well as contemporary ones and fighting styles that belong to no known disciplines.

The full trailer for Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained isn't set to be released until later this week when it plays before Ridley Scott's Prometheus. But Entertainment Tonight has shown some teaser footage from the trailer of the film. Since it comes from ET, you already know that the footage you see has got a bunch of annoying bells and whistles plastered around it.

This gives us our first look solid at the film, and I love what I'm seeing so far! The film stars Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, and Leonardo Dicaprio who all look great in the film! It also stars Kerry Washington, Samuel L. Jackson, James Remar, Don Johnson, Franco Nero, Walton Goggins, Bruce Dern, M.C. Gainey, RZA, Tom Savini, Michael Bacall, Dennis Christopher, and Laura Cayouette.

There's no word when the trailer will be released online, but once it is we'll get it posted for you. The film itself will hit theaters on December 25th. Check out the footage below!

Here's the Synopsis:

Set in the South two years before the Civil War, DJANGO UNCHAINED stars Academy Award®-winner Jamie Foxx as Django, a slave whose brutal history with his former owners lands him face-to-face with German-born bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz (Academy Award®-winner Christoph Waltz). Schultz is on the trail of the murderous Brittle brothers, and only Django can lead him to his bounty. The unorthodox Schultz acquires Django with a promise to free him upon the capture of the Brittles – dead or alive.

Success leads Schultz to free Django, though the two men choose not to go their separate ways. Instead, Schultz seeks out the South’s most wanted criminals with Django by his side. Honing vital hunting skills, Django remains focused on one goal: finding and rescuing Broomhilda (Kerry Washington), the wife he lost to the slave trade long ago.

Django and Schultz’s search ultimately leads them to Calvin Candie (Academy Award®-nominee Leonardo DiCaprio), the proprietor of “Candyland,” an infamous plantation where slaves are groomed by trainer Ace Woody (Kurt Russell) to battle each other for sport. Exploring the compound under false pretenses, Django and Schultz arouse the suspicion of Stephen (Academy Award®-nominee Samuel L. Jackson), Candie’s trusted house slave. Their moves are marked, and a treacherous organization closes in on them. If Django and Schultz are to escape with Broomhilda, they must choose between independence and solidarity, between sacrifice and survival...

It looks like Iron Man director Jon Favreau could end up directing the big screen adaptation of the hit Broadway musical Jersey Boys: The Story of Frankie Vallie & The Four Seasons. As you all know, Favreau is a man of many talents, and this would be the first musical that he's taken on. It's definitely a departure from the fanboy and fangirl films that he's been working on, but he's still a filmmaker that can basically make any movie that he wanted to. So if he wants to make Jersey Boys, he must have an enthusiastic vision for it.

The movie is set up over at GK Films, and Hugo writer John Logan is writing the script. I'm not really familiar with the musical as I've never seen it, but the story centers around Vallie and the other members of pop music sensation the Four Seasons during their rise to superstardom.

Favreau is reprising his role as Happy Hogan in Iron Man 3, which he's currently shooting. He's also been developing a Disney film called The Magic Kingdom for awhile. I'm not sure what the status of that is right now, but I hope it's moving forward. Favreau is a talented director and if he ends up officially taking on Jersey Boys I'm sure he'll do a great job directing it.

What do you think about Favreau possibly taking on Jersey Boys?

Here's a synopsis for the musical:

Everyone knows their songs. Few know their story. Named for a bowling alley that refused to book them, The Four Seasons—Frankie, Tommy, Bob, and Nick—were four high school dropouts who emerged from New Jersey to become true American Idols: one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. With a shiny doo-wop sound highlighted by lead singer Frankie Valli’s stratospheric falsetto, they wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds, and sold 175 million records worldwide—all before they were thirty.

Jersey Boys, Broadway’s 2006 Tony Award® Winner for Best Musical, is the electrifying tale of the Seasons’ rise, the moment they established their signature sound with their breakout hit “Sherry”; becoming a sensation on American Bandstand, of being young and full of hope and dreams and promise; of riding the rocket of success against the irresistible pull of the Jersey mob and the old neighborhood. Like the show itself, this gorgeous, full-color companion book captures the magic and the original excitement of the band’s life and times through all-new interviews with the band members. It also features the show’s libretto; interviews with the show’s writers, director, and cast; and over 200 photos from the band members’ personal collections of rarely seen memorabilia. For anyone who's ever sung along or danced to "Oh, What a Night!", “Walk Like a Man” or “Big Girls Don’t Cry”, and for those just discovering the timeless sound of The Four Seasons, Jersey Boys is the ultimate keepsake.
